Claude Santoy's step-by-step instruction on the most practical and up-to-date methods of handwriting evaluation includes psychological interpretation of drawings and doodles, methods of determining mental health from handwriting, workbook examples to help readers master the system, and a helpful glossary of terminology. Packed with useful information, The ABCs of Handwriting Analysis is the ultimate guide for anyone interested in uncovering the secrets hidden within handwriting.

I didn't really properly read this, only skimmed, and I would definitely classify it as a did-not-finish.
The way it was laid out was not what I was expecting. It felt like pure memorization, and it was mind-numbingly dull. I couldn't concentrate, I couldn't get into it, I didn't like it. I didn't learn anything from it either. Maybe that's my fault for not trying harder, but it was just... not fun.

I also didn't like the... the SOUND of the author's voice. Again, maybe it was just me, but he felt like he was so full of himself, I'm sorry. I really hate bashing, and I don't want to be mean, but after I read the first page I was already twisting my face with distaste.

He made it complicated and boring, and he made it seem like his way was the ONLY way, the RIGHT way and anyone else had better step aside.

I'm sorry, I just didn't like this book.

A more than adequate introduction to the world of graphology. Aside from introducing the reader to the graphology and its basic elements, it provides additional exercises and recommendations. But you have been warned; approach this field with caution. It is, after all, considered a pseudo-science, backed by very few assertions with little to no scientific evidence. Whether graphology is or is not a valid tool for personality assessment is still a topic of debate, but one thing's for sure: I did enjoy analyzing my friends' and partner's writing, and I did, to my surprise, find many of my conclusions to be quite accurate. But it may, after all, be nothing but the Forer effect.

Extremely helpful, straight forward, and factual book. I continually use it as a reference when I occasionally get in the mood to analyze someone's handwriting. I wish that it had more examples of different versions of letters people do because more than once I've found myself finding that the way someone wrote their letter didn't match up with any description of that letter in the book, and I also wish that there were some more explanation as to why each letter means what it's supposed to mean.

I've always been intrigued & fasinated by people's handwriting. So when I discovered that there are those that forge signature's, well I had to read about that. The same w/ the creation of writing. Where the actually ltrs. in the alphebet came from. And now here I found another book on analysis...for those that enjoy & even addicted to books of these nature, u will definately luv this book. Every thing that we are can be found in our handwriting...fun, huh??

If not taken too seriously, it does have very valid points.
