An Irish Bride for Christmas by Vickie McDonough When Jackson Lancaster’s brother and wife die, he takes his three-year-old niece home. But a meddling busy-body makes the judge give her custody “because an unmarried man shouldn’t raise a little girl.” Now Jackson has until Christmas to find a bride or lose his niece forever. Larkin Doyle is grateful her employer took in the orphan and believes Jackson abandoned his niece. When her heart says otherwise, will romance blossom?
Under His Wings by Liz Tolsma Adie O’Connell, orphaned and left alone in a dangerous Wisconsin logging camp, seeks the stability she once knew when both her parents lived. Shelter in the Storm by Carrie Turansky The daughter of a wealthy Tennessee doctor, Rachel Thornton begins nursing James Galloway, a wounded artist-war correspondent. Would she be safer in the arms of another man?
Christmas Service by Erica Vetsch Beth Sorensen has been put in charge of the Christmas pageant at the little log church, and this year she wants something different. She has eight grandchildren who keep her busy and tell everyone they know that “Nana is a writer”.
6 beautiful historical heartwarming stories. They will make you smile and give you the holiday spirit. I highly recommend this one. I really enjoyed this one even though I don't usually enjoy short stories. This one goes on the home library Christmas shelf.
A Christmas lover's dream collection. Six fantastic authors have created novellas full of heart and faith steeped in the spirit of Christmas. Each story has all the elements of a full-length novel and packs the same kind of emotional punch. Each author brings her own unique perspective to these rushing-into-love-under-dire-circumstances romances.
Cynthia Hickey's heroine walks into a a homesteader's nightmare when she arrives in Tombstone and discovers her married-by-proxy husband is dead and has left her a struggling ranch under siege and an unexpected step-daughter! This is the wild west at it's best, and worse. I loved the romance between feisty and determined Annie and her gruff but knight-in-shining-armorish neighbour and the way they draw together to save the ranch from the dastardly villains. :-)
I'm not a huge fan of Civil War stories but Liz Johnson and Carrie Turnasky beguiled me with their very different approaches to finding love in the midst of war. Both involve wounded Union soldiers and the women who nurse them back to health. Loved Johnson's cabin in the woods setting where Cora lives with her grandfather. By contrast, Turnasky's heroine enjoys status and wealth as the daughter of a prominent doctor. And her British hero is a war-correspondent artist which was really interesting to read about. But both Cora and Rachel have to decide whether they dare risk giving their hearts to men who will continue to risk their lives for the cause they believe in.
I was steaming over the meddling busy-body in Vicki McDonough's An Irish Bride for Christmas right from the very start. There's grieving Jackson having just buried his brother and sister-in-law trying to do his best by his four year-old niece when Mrs. Hoity-Toity Persnickety Mayor's Wife comes waltzing in claiming he's unfit to raise the child. Gah! Luckily sweet Irish lass Larkin is on hand to care for the little girl because Mrs. HTPMW thinks children should be seen (and not often) and definitely never heard. Meanwhile, there's poor Jackson fighting just to have rights to see his niece while searching high and low for a woman he can marry by Christmas or he'll lose any chance of regaining custody of his niece. Uh, Jackson, meet Larkin and get married already! This one kept me discombobulated right to the end.
Adie and Noah in Liz Tolsma's Under His Wings gave me fits too. These two were so intent on following through on their own plans they neglected to notice God's Grand Plan right in front of them. There's a truly vile lumberjack with designs on Adie and enough tension and drama to satisfy this thrill seeking bibliophile. Angst aplenty with the promise of a Christmas miracle conclusion.
I howled my way through Christmas Service by Erica Vetsch. This is like the adult version of the holiday classic The Worst Christmas Pageant Ever. And just as funny. With an infuriatingly reluctant-to-court-the-blacksmith heroine. But oh my, that blacksmith. Thud! I want to shake some sense into Beth. Chaos and hijinks abound for this doomed couple who desperately need a Christmas miracle!
I listened to the audible edition of A Joyful Christmas narrated by Carolyn Molloy and she did an amazing job of capturing all the distinct accents -- from British to Irish to Southern drawl -- not to mention the creaky voice of an old grandfather and the sweet yammering of young children. A lively reading that enhanced my enjoyment of these stories all the more.
( received complimentary e-book copy in exchange for review )
Each year, I always look forward to the first Christmas themed book of the season. The novellas in this collection were all warmly written and very enjoyable. Will be revisiting with this book when I have some quiet time during the upcoming holiday season. Would make a very thoughtful stocking stuffer or gift.
A Christmas Castle by Cynthia Hickey Awww beautiful story filled with sacrifice and love in the most beautiful season of the year; Christmas. Drake and Annie did not sign up for the misfortune that hit them close to Christmas but they both decided to make the most out of the situations surrounding them and love met them along the way. With hearts and lives dependent on God they made it through.
A Star In The Night by Liz Johnson. Heartwarming and tear jerking story of love that endures all things with the beautiful miracle of Christmas.
An Irish Bride For Christmas by Vickie McDonough Jackson and Larkin finding a home with each other despite the hurdles and challenges. Lovely story filled with the miracles of Christmas.
Under His Wings by Liz Tolsma This story is sure to bring out a few tears. I loved and admired how Noah protected Adie even when it meant forfeiting his dreams. At the end of the day they both had their dreams fulfilled and love to top it all.
A Shelter In Tge Storm by Carrie Turansky James and Rachel's story is one of love, sacrifice and joy. Thrown together by unlikely circumstances but bounded by love they got to be together in a time of war.
Christmas Service by Erica Vetsch Todd and Beth! Amazing story of discovery for the both of them and love in earnest. I loved how Todd pursued Bety even when she did not give him the time of the day and how he choose to be patient with her. Love is patient and Todd shone that truth clear and clear.
I recieved a copy of this book from Netgalley and this is my honest opinion.
What's better than a Christmas novella? A collection of them! This one features several authors I enjoy, and I found all the stories to be engaging and heartwarming. I love reading Christmas stories any time of the year, and being able to feel that special holiday spirit that is inspiring and uplifting. These are all historical settings, with compelling plots and relatable characters. Perfect for binge reading or spreading out over a busy time of life, with quick access to a happy ending.

What an absolutely delightful and fun collection of novellas for Christmas! I kind of wish it was Christmas instead of July with temperatures in the high 90s. But it was so fun to read these amid their snowy Christmas weather. Just made me feel good. I enjoyed it so much. Easily and quickly read, each one will bring a smile to your face and heart. Recommended.
*My thanks to Barbour Publishing for a copy of this book via Net Galley. All opinions are my own.
I have been loving historical fiction these days, specifically Christian romance so this book hits the spot. It has six historical romances set in the late 1800’s America. Two of them were during the civil war.
The stories are short with a simple plot but very enjoyable. Since they are short, the couples fall in love with each other at a very short time. Normally I don’t enjoy those but I don’t mind it here. Each author has a different writing style so it makes each story unique. I like all the heroines. Their characters are varied from strong women to meek ones.
I am pleased with two of the stories, A Christmas Castle by Cynthia Hickey and Christmas Service by Erica Vetsch. Annie from A Christmas Castle is feisty and faces things head on. I just like this marriage of convenience trope. Annie and Derek are a perfect match! The choir rehearsal from Christmas Service was hilarious. I like Todd here. He is calm and a good man.
All of these stories are Christian fiction but not preachy. Talks about God come up in conversations and show in their actions. I have enjoyed this book a lot. I look forward to reading more Christmas stories. 5 stars
Thank you #netgalley and Barbour Publishing, Inc.for the free copy in exchange for an honest review.
Romance, clean, period; collection; Christian faith based Collection of Christmas romance, some set in the Civil War. I chose to review this collection as I love one of the authors. This was a mixed read for me. Some of the novellas were strong and compelling, with good pacing and natural resolution. Others felt a bit forced, or rushed. Novellas are a tricky genre sometimes to 'complete' a story without those faults. All in all though, it was a fun holiday read, and a fun way to pass some time. Would still recommend to others to read. I received an ARC from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for a fair and honest review. My opinions are my own.
Firstly OMG😭 this Christmas collection of historical romance is everything . I should have worn my socks and decorated my house because my heart wasn't ready and the tears 😭
So Joyful Christmas is a collection of heartwarming stories with God at the center of it all . Each of these stories focused on a character with a few flaws and I was inspired and encouraged.
I totally adored Annie Morgan from a Christmas Castle because in spite of all the horrible things happening to her she was so darn brave and darn that neighbor that had me feeling hopeful for her too.
This collection is so good that I wouldn't mind getting under the Christmas tree.
I have read three of the six stories before--all six were previously published--but I enjoyed getting to refresh my memory. I am usually not a fan of formula historical romances, Thankfully my three favorites veered slightly away from the norm.
If you are looking for a good historical romance Christmas collection you will love this book.
Pretty cute. I like stories where characters are sort of thrust into becoming parents. I liked seeing how they both interacted with May who was very cute.
A Star in the Night (Liz Johnson) - 2.5 stars
I’m not really a fan of Civil War stories. This was also fairly instalovey and not as Christmassy as I would have liked.
An Irish Bride for Christmas (Vicki McDonough) - 3 stars
My third story by this author (I have read two of her stories in other novella collections). This one had a little more excitement to the plot with the stagecoach holdups. I also really liked the way both Jackson and Larkin interacted with Rosie. The ending was kind of sudden, but that’s kind of the way novellas are.
Under His Wings (Liz Tolsma) - 2 stars
This one was a much sadder story with Adie losing her father in a logging accident. There weren’t as many Christmas elements and the tone was more somber.
Shelter in the Storm (Carrie Turansky) - 3.5 stars
Another Civil War story. I had read this one previously due to its being in another Christmas novella collection I read a couple of years ago. This was a little different from the typical Civil War tale because the main guy was a British artist sketching the battles rather than an actual combatant. It was cute.
Christmas Service (Erica Vetsch) - 3 stars
This was cute, and definitely the most Christmassy, with the story being centered around preparations for a Christmas nativity play. One of the cases where everything goes wrong but it all works out.
A Joyful Christmas All six books are Christian based books and each one in there own right are very well written and all have a wonderful storyline. Christmas Castles by Cynthia Hickey- A Mail order bride who is strong and independent and becomes a single mother and has to fight for her land & family. She does so with the help of the neighbor and trusting in the Lord. The author has done a wonderful job in giving a quick quality Christmas read!
A Star in the Night by Liz Johnson- Cora discovers a wounded Union soldier that she brings to her grandfather to help treat. Jed and her fight their attraction because of the war and the atrocities of what Cora has witnessed. Jed makes no promises and she can only pray and wish upon the angel he has given her that he will return. The author author has delivered an excellent Christian Christmas book for you to read and discover if her wishes come true and in what way!
An Irish Bride for Christmas by Vickie McDonough- A single Christian man is thrust into being a guardian of his three old niece because of her parents death he is lost. The Judge informs him that he has until Christmas to find a bride if he wants to regain custody. Of course, he does. This is where Larkin, an Irish orphan comes into play. She is currently the nanny of the little girl. There are sparks, but are they romance sparks? Read and find out, because you won’t believe the going’s on is this town! The author has written a fun filled and sneaky, but Christian Christmas book!
Under His Wings by Liz Tolsma- If you have a dream of your life turning out one certain way and then because of a twist of fate it is gone! How would you feel? Grateful to the person who might be able to change your life and alter your life just because it’s in your best interests? Adie always wanted stability and a farm, but she might have to marry the Preacher Man and then where would her life take her? Different churches in small towns and frugal living? She wanted to be settled in one place and farm the land. Did she put her trust in a good man and the Lord? This was a great read!
Shelter in the Storm by Carrie Turansky- Rachel & her father a local doctor give refuge to a art war journalist. Rachel who has already suffered one lost love is having feelings for James, but worries if he returns that he could die. Another gentleman enters the picture and James has healed and leaves! Does Rachel trust in her feelings for James and that God will keep him safe or does she go with the man who is here now? This is also a good storyline by the author because it shows depth of character.
Christmas Service by Erica Vetsch- Beth & blacksmith learn what Christmas Service is and that a person doesn’t have to do it all alone. This is one of the best Christmas stories I have read because it tells about Christmas spirit and loving your fellow man! I loved how the author truly felt the Christian spirit in the characters and their was no spite , but only loving spirit and helping hands! Wouldn’t that be wonderful if we had that everywhere in our lives, but it’s so great to read in these short stories!
This book is a collection of sweet, clean romance stories by several different historical fiction authors. Each story depicts life in challenging times during the 1800's. It is excellent for quick reads during the always busy holiday season. Each story has a strong heroine and loveable man, both with strong faith in God, that she helps, partners with or tolerates. One that I particularly enjoyed tells of a female lead who knows in her heart that she must marry a certain man because of his career. The humor in the story is truly delightful. Each story is set with Christmas day in the time period but can be read any time of year.
Special thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for my copy of the book.
If you are looking for short, sweet, Christmas themed historical fiction - this Novella Collection is for you! If you like historical fiction period, I think you will truly enjoy it. It's one of those books perfect to curl up by the fire with a hot cup of tea and read.
This was my first time reading work by any of these authors and I was not disappointed
Each tale was special and unique in its own way. Definitely a collection worth checking out!
***Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for the digital ARC of this book. All views and opinions expressed in this review are my own.***
"A Joyful Christmas" Oh, boy, 6 really Good , Clean, Sweet, romance stories of people with Faith in the late 1800's. Sometimes faith is strong, sometimes weak, and sometimes mis-placed. Sometimes one must learn to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths." Proverbs 3:5-6 Oh, I hope my review does not turn you away, these are not preachy stories. Just good clean wholesome stories that have at least one character whose faith is getting them through their life. This book is a worthy read. Happy Reading !
note: I received an ARC of this book from the publisher with the request I would post my honest review.
This was a very sweet way to end the year's reading! I enjoyed all of the stories, but I think my favourite was the last one. I really liked how Todd was determined to seek God's will for his life, even if it meant letting go of the dream of marrying Beth. I also liked that he was bold enough to set Beth straight with regards to church service and humility. I appreciated Beth's willingness to humble herself and admit she'd been wrong as well.
A set of historical novellas that each features a lady who ends up meeting a swoon worthy hero who was not in her view as a potential husband. They were all quick reads but felt complete with well written main characters and an interesting plot. Each story found its completion at Christmas time. Nice introduction to the Christmas season a wee bit early.
These Christian tales are all set in bygone days. Some are set with the backdrop of the Civil War, others are set out west, and another up north. All exhibit Christian morals and values. The writing styles do vary, and you are likely to find you like some more than others - I know I did. And while all are romances and achieve their HEAs, there are tragedies in some and problems to solve. It’s a gentle read for Christmas or any time.
A Joyful Christmas is six novellas put together by Barbour Publishing. I highly recommend this book as I thoroughly enjoyed each historic story especially how scripture and prayer were intricately woven in and the characters were well-written. A Christmas Castle is set in Prescott, Arizona in December 1867. Annie Morgan comes to town as a bride only to find her husband has died. She thought her dreams had to until she is given the task of caring for his 4-year old daughter, May. Neighbor Drake Carter helps in warding off another neighbor, Ben Hayward from taking her land. A little gold, a sod house and another marriage all play a role in this inspirational novella by Cynthia Hickey. A Star in the Night is a novella set in Franklin, Tennessee just after a civil war battle which had taken place not far from the home of Cora Sinclair and her grandfather, Horace Sinclair in December 1864. On her way home from tending the wounded soldiers at a nearby farm, she finds an injured Jedediah Harrington who needs healing himself after being shot. Cora tends to his wounds as Jed tends to her haunting dreams. Jackson Lancaster needs a bride by Christmas if he wants to keep his newly orphaned niece, Rosie, according to the judge and the interfering wife of the mayor in An Irish Bride for Christmas by Vickie McDonough. In the meantime, said wife has her servant Larkin Doyle watch over Rosie and tells her the uncle has abandoned his niece. Jackson worries about keeping his stagecoaches secure from bandits that had killed his family and is sad that he can only see Rosie on supervised visits. It is a heartwarming tale of misunderstandings corrected in 1880 Prairie Flats, Illinois. The next story tells of the dangers of a Northwoods Wisconsin logging camp in Under His Wings. Adie move from job to job with her father and is helping the camp cook prepare meals at Camp Twelve for the winter of 1875. The Preacher Man, Noah Mitchell, is cutting partners with her father and is only in camp to earn money to go to seminary. Noah makes a promise to his partner that he must keep in this tender tale written by Liz Tolsma. Shelter in the Storm by Carrie Turansky is another novella set in Tennessee near Nashville in the latter part of 1864. Rachel Thornton and her sister are the children of the local doctor and have remained unscathed during the war and have been able to keep their large home which bodes well since Amos, their servant, found a wounded man at their gate. While her father is away, Rachel tends to his wounds and the doctor then allows James Galloway to stay and recover but will the war call this artist back to the front lines to paint the battle scenes? Erica Vetsch tells a very heartwarming eye-opening story in Christmas Service. Beth Sorenson has always pictured herself as a wife of a preacher. When the opportunity comes to direct the Christmas pageant, she seizes the chance to shine but has a hard time allowing others to help. Blacksmith Todd Rambek steps in as her assistant but he wants more than that since he had just asked her grandfather, the preacher of this Minnesota log cabin church, if he could court Beth. Overall, I give A Joyful Christmas an excellent rating and recommend it as a great Christmas book. I received a copy of the book from NetGalley and Barbour Publishing for review and the opinions are my own. #AJoyfulChristmas #NetGalley #Barbour Publishing
Barbour Publishing put together six lovely stories about love coming at Christmas time. These are historical fictional stories with a bit of humor thrown in for good measure. All of these authors are great writers and the challenge to put a whole story in a novella is a hard one to do when you are used to writing full length novels, but these authors are up to the task.
Each of these tales have flawed but likable people populating the narratives, and they all find what they are looking for, eventually. Some of the yarns had me in tears because of the unfairness of the situations, some had me laughing out loud, some had me so frustrated I wanted to grab the characters and give them a good shake.
This is a five star collection, with two thumbs up, and a Christmas miracle of love.
Barbour Publishing and NetGalley.com provided the copy I read for this review. All of the opinions expressed are my own.
A Joyful Christmas is a wonderful collection by Barbour Publishing.
These historical stories cover time periods between the 1860's through the 1880's and feature authors Erica Vetsch, Carrie Turansky, Liz Tolsma, Vicki McDonough, Liz Johnson and Cynthia Hickey. Three of the authors I had read before, but the other three were new to me. I always enjoy reading and discovering new authors and this collection provided the perfect opportunity.
I love Christmas stories and will read them any time of the year. We need more of the love, joy and giving associated with this special time of the year. These charming stories brought all of that to light and will surely warm a reader's heart. I enjoyed each one!
I appreciate Barbour, through Netgalley, making a copy of A Joyful Christmas available for review.
I enjoyed this book. The stories were very uplifting. I felt that some stories were better than others. They each had a Christian Christmas theme. I enjoyed the fact that they featured normal people overcoming great hardships to share in the celebration of the birth of Christ. Many of the books also featured children or family. I really enjoyed the first book where the heroine wed a man by proxy and when she arrived in town, she was a widow, mother and owner of a ranch involved in a range war. The hero was the neighbor who helped her, at his own loss. This story was so sweet. I truly enjoyed show they developed and worked with each other. The heroine was a no nonsense woman who wore pants. The hero respected her independence. The second story was a about a heroine who saved her Yankee Captian when he is shot in her hometown in the South. She goes to great strides to help him. She doesn't care what side he is on because she feels that the was doesn't take into account that every who was killed left an open scar on every family. This was very sweet and touching. The third story was about a man who had lost everything, even his niece was taken away by the mayor's wife because he was single!. This was such a nice story of redemption and being honest and good when faced with the opportunity to do evil and bad. The fourth story was about a heroine that found her hero battered and bruised at the front door. But he was not a soldier, he was a war correspondent who covered the battles in Kentucky. This was another nice story. The last story was about a heroine who had her very own Christian hero under her nose, but had to learn to appreciate that you can have a job to support you and your family and still serve the Lord. This was an anthology that hit all the stops. I recommend this book with 5 stars. I liked the characters, the story lines. Some of the stories were more sophisticated than the others and I did find a couple of spelling errors, but nothing of note.
A Joyful Christmas is a delightful and heartwarming collection of novellas that will leave each and every reader who chooses to pick it up with a big smile on their face. Each novella features a different historical setting, and focuses around the importance of faith and the true meaning for the Christmas season. While I did think a couple of the novellas stood out over the rest, I was honestly pleasantly surprised by this entire collection, and I love the fact that I've discovered some new to me authors in the process.
With how crazy everything has been lately, I really enjoyed reading this sweet collection that reminds us all of how God is always faithful, and included heartwarming and simple holiday romances that gave me all the warm fuzzies.
I recommend fixing yourself a cup of hot chocolate or apple cider, grabbing some yummy Christmas cookies, and settling in to read this beautiful historical novella collection that will have you instantly in the Christmas spirit.
Final Rating: 4/5.
Thanks so much to Barbour for allowing me to advance read this!
I voluntarily read and reviewed a complimentary advance reader copy of this novel from the publisher (Barbour) via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to give a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This book was super cute and lifted my spirits. I loved these short stories and found myself at the end wanting more from some of them. I found some new authors to enjoy thanks to this book. This is a title you will want to add for your Holiday reading list. Enjoy with a plate of cookies and hot cider.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the advanced copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
A collection of short romantic stories which are also historical. I had never read any of these authors so this is a great manner in which to sample their writings. I enjoyed each of the stories as I love reading about different periods in history and also about how Christmas was celebrated in these historical times. I particularly enjoyed the story which was set in Missouri since that is my home state. I would recommend this book as a cozy enjoyable and informative read.
Thanks to the publisher, Barbour Books & Net Galley for this advanced copy of the book. This is my honest and unbiased opinion of the book.
An enjoyable collection of novellas set in the 1800's. They share a Christmas theme, but are all unique. A few are set around Nashville in the Civil War. The first and last ones had some humor too. All were previously published. A quality collection, perfect to read during the busy holiday season. 4.5 stars
This is a wonderful anthology of previously published Christmas historical stories that provide a generous helping of Christmas spirit. While I enjoyed some more than others, this collection is by and large a fairly solid one with no major disappointments.
“A Christmas Castle” by Cynthia Hickey
3 stars
This was kind of an odd one for me. I liked it conceptually…it just fell a bit short in terms of the execution. I rooted for Annie being in a situation she didn’t expect, but wasn’t sure if the romance really won me over.
“A Star in the Night” by Liz Johnson
5 stars
This one is absolutely adorable. I love how Jed and Cora bonded while he was staying with her and her grandfather, recuperating from his injuries. I love how they connected, and it lasted even after they parted, waiting for them to reunite again.
“An Irish Bride for Christmas” by Vickie McDonough
4 stars
This one was charming, and it delves into the complexities of custody of a little girl. I rooted for Jackson to work things out so he could have security in his job and take care of Rosie, he liked that he and Larkin bonded over their shared concern for Rosie.
“Under His Wings” by Liz Tolsma
5 stars
This one was beautiful, with Adie initially resisting the prospect of marriage due to the obstacles presented her; but the love she and Noah shared and their mutual faith brought them together.
“Shelter in the Storm” by Carrie Turansky
5 stars
This one was similarly good, and I loved the romantic tension that grew between James and Rachel due to happenstance, but she has to figure out if she’s moved on from a previous heartbreak.
“Christmas Service” by Erica Vetsch
4 stars
This is a wonderful short about the importance of service and giving back in one’s community. I like how Beth had a very firm idea of her vision when it came to this concept, as well as her own prospects, but she came to learn from Todd’s unique perspective in both respects.

If you love Christmas and Christian historical romance, this is a great collection that you should definitely pick this up.
I chose this book because of the authors. I knew it would be a great read, and I was not disappointed! Written by six expertly gifted storytellers, A Joyful Christmas is a collection of easy-to-read, heartwarming novellas set in the mid and late 1800’s in Arizona, Tennessee, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. Steadily flowing plots; loveable, believable characters; sweet romance; expressive prose; bits of humor; and strong faith elements make for entertaining, feel-good, inspirational stories that make you smile and even shed a few joyful tears! In this book, you will meet six endearing couples—Annie and Drake, Cora and Jedediah, Jackson and Larkin, Adie and Noah, Rachel and James, Beth and Todd—who all find love at Christmas time, but whose touching stories can be enjoyed any time of the year! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.
I received a copy of this book in e-book form from the publisher via netgalley but am under no obligation to write a positive review. All opinions are my own.
Six inspiring historical stories. Although they center around Christmas, I could read these any time of year. I wish they didn't have to end. Perfect book to curl up with this season.
