Welcome to the Breezy Spoon Diner, where Santa's serving up murder for Christmas!

Christmas is just around the corner and Santa Claus is coming to the quirky little town of East Spoon Creek City! Dani O'Shea is serving up great food, great conversation and down-home hospitality at the Breezy Spoon Diner to hungry townsfolk, but a department store Santa Claus getting murdered outside her door was not what she wanted for Christmas!

When a vengeful killer murders the wrong man by mistake, Dani must race to unmask the murderer and protect the true target before anyone else dies! Her landlord, dreamy and flirtatious fireman Mark Adams has plans for a different kind of holiday cheer to share with Dani, but with ghosts, monster trucks and a stolen fruitcake to unwrap before she can solve the murder, this might be the craziest Christmas ever!

First book I read in this series. I found it really confusing, the actual mystery was just a small part of the story. Lots of quirky characters and chatter that was just confusing and didn't add anything to the story, will not be reading the rest.

It's the holiday season in East Spoon Creek City. Dani O'Shea is busy running the Breezy Spoon Diner. Charlene Hensley continues to her ditzy waitress and Charlene's boyfriend Jimmy Taylor still works as the busboy. Dani's brother Bob, the Deputy Sheriff, is dating Kitty Benson and Dani is dating her fireman/landlord Mark Adams. But of course trouble is never far away in the small town. In this installment of the series, Sid Devine, so called professional entertainer, bought the old boarding house. Gordon Peete owns the small construction company in town. Herb Gibson is the floor manager of Al's Shole's Emporium. When Herb is killed while wearing the Santa suit that Sid should have been wearing, Dani once again goes into sleuth mode. Who wanted Sid dead? She discovers that the possibilities are almost endless. I was entertained by this book and really like how Tracey Quinn wrapped things up!

I'm in "book love" with these characters! When ex-Army helicopter pilot Dani, buys a diner in a small town, she finds herself drawn into mysteries that are filled with humor, quirky characters, friendship and murder. When a rogue Santa is the victim of a "hit and run", Dani has to figure out why and whodunit before there's another victim!

When I read a Tracey Quinn book, I spend equal parts sleuthing and laughing. The mystery is filled with twists and turns and "red herrings" and it kept this reader from going to sleep until the wee hours of the morning! It's a book that satisfied my love of cozy mysteries and love of humor and genuine characters.

You can read this as a standalone, but why miss one page of a fun series?! It's the perfect holiday book!

This was another funny, entertaining, well-written mystery in the series. I would like to read more of the author's work and already have the next (and looks like the last) book in the series. The characters and dialogue are great, the mystery is done well, and the author makes me feel as though the town and its citizens are real.

I reserve a five-start rating for a book I would read again. I will likely reread the entire series and will change my rating when I do.

Doing wrong is gonna catch up to you

Sid unbelievable Sid always has an angle, a smooth talker liar, a taker! Dani finds herself helping one of her unfavorable diner clients. Who wanted to kill Sid well who didn't want to Kill Sid? This is comical funny with great characters, love the bantering Dani does! It's a mystery within a mystery.

Another good entry in the Breezy Spoon Diner series. Dani comes through again and figures out who the murderer was. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

This book started out good and then plummeted off a cliff. I will never get the wasted time back. No more for me.

This series has made be very disappointed. It started off decent and I like Dani and Mark. But it's going down hill. The book kinda goes everywhere and it's getting dull.
