Excellent book for any man trying to find the best value diamond for his future fiance. The author helps the buyer focus on what is important and which clarity and color grades maintain the best value. Every major characteristic about a diamond is discussed and even some words of wisdom, most of which is worth noting.

I felt inadequate about my knowledge of diamonds when I was in a diamond store. Got this book to educate myself. Now I feel more adequate. Theoretically at least, no idea if I'll be able to apply this knowledge in real life.

As long as you take it with a grain of salt -- some really good advice to demystify the diamond industry.

Very helpful if you don't mind putting a little time and research into your investment.
