I had their love once.

They saw me for the girl I am and the person I yearn to become one day—a woman who thrives in her freedom and dances away in her rightfully earned independence.

They saw all the strong, unafraid parts of me, and coaxed each one of them out, daring me to dream bigger, climb higher.

They never once saw the girl I had been groomed to see in the mirror.

The abandoned daughter of a dead man.

The unwanted child of a woman who despised her.

The broken body formed wrong and built on a shaky foundation, threatening to fall apart and shatter.

They made all the ugliness disappear and left only wonder and promise. The love we shared for each other was probably the only miracle I would be granted in this life, and I knew they felt the same.

Or so I thought.

Everything I held dear has been robbed from me, and I’ve been a victim of theft too many times to mention.

I will not have them steal my pride.

They can keep my heart, for all I care.

The day they became my stepbrothers, it stopped working anyway.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic 'HEARTLESS' is the first full length romance novel in new to me author Ivy Fox's 'The Privileged of Pembroke High' series. Multiple POV's.

I don't even know how to go about writing up this review. What an awesome start to a whole new series from a new to me author at that. This captivated me from the start, the outside world ceased to exist, if I had to compare it to another book I would say it's similar to the 'Paper Princess', by Elle Kennedy, I'm so glad I took the leap and one clicked this one, I wouldn't call it a full on bully book though it was building up to become one, the heat between these characters was scorching hot, but like a deck of cards it all came tumbling down around them. And we won't really see the outcome until the next book.

She was lucky to fall in love and be loved by one brother but add in the other twin and it was all kinds of mixed up when she fell in love with him too and vice versa. I could see a whole lot of hurt reigning down on them. A clusterf#ck of epic proportions, but it was just so right.
Add in the wicked mother and you have for one riveting read that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat. She was a nasty piece of work which gave me all the stabby angsty feels.

I really struggle with the miscommunication trope, as I know it would be such a quick fix if the characters just SPOKE to each other. WHY DO PEOPLE NOT JUST SPEAK TO EACH OTHER 🥲

I understand that it's for the plot, but that doesn’t make it any less frustrating😅

It started off with an insta-love (sort of) relationship, but since it was a pre-existing thing the infatuation was more understandable. Prior to the beginning of the book, the characters had know each other for 3 years. It was a summer love/childhood sweethearts dynamic, which at points was quite cute.

I did DNF at 47% after the whole miscommunication/ betrayal plot twist came in. It wasn’t that it occurred, it was how it was handled.

Spoilers 👇

So at 46% the MMCs believe they are being deceived by the FMC,after they find out her mother is going to marry their father. The FMC doesn’t say she comes from wealth or that her mother is this well-known socialite 💰The guys make the assumption that she is working class, she never said she was. They believe she sort out this relationship with them intentionally, just in case her mother didn’t succeed in trapping their father 🪤

Spoiler Alert : The FMC didn’t plan anything.

They have known this girl for 3 years and are essentially in a relationship, so what do they do … they don’t go and speak to her. No, no why would they do that? They do the only logical thing. One of seeks her out and then proceeds to make her perform sexual acts on him out of anger, while pretending he still likes her. Honestly, I DNFed after he asked her to do this, as it felt really gross and malicious. I’m not really here for this spiteful & degrading revenge, and assumed this was probably just the start.

I’ve already decided I don’t like the MMCs, so the grovelling that is bound to follow will be wasted on me. The whole relationship was basically bullsh*t if they were so quick to believe the worse of her.

Also, the older brother who I’m guessing was also in the harem gave me creeper vibes. I think he is meant to be dark and mysterious, but the dark and mysterious it’s giving is him waiting in a dark alley for her after work and confusing the fuck out of her. He was trying to be all aloof and wouldn’t explain why she was ‘playing a game’. It was frustrating 😩

This book just wasn’t for me, which is sad because this author wrote one of my favourite books. I don’t think I’d recommend this one, but I would recommend The Frost Touched Queen. God I love that book ♥️

Wow. Heartless was so good and I can't wait to dive into the next book.

In it, you will meet Holland who was pretty much her mother's favorite person to bully. I honestly hated how she was treated by that vile woman. It sucks that her died unexpectedly but I have a feeling that her mom was somehow behind it all. Then there's her heart, because she fell in love with twin brothers - Asher and Ollie. Of course the love was mutual but I had a feeling that something was going to tear them apart.

Enter her mother and their god awful dad. Two heartless people that definitely deserve one another. They both gave zero shits about their own kids because it would mean that they would have a heart. The only good thing, or four, that came out of Grayson were his kids. Roman, Elle, Asher and Ollie are a force to reckon with. It honestly made me happy that they all know their dad is a monster. I was also super happy that they all hated Holland's mother.

Yet, something was off. Obviously this book had dark secrets that needed to come out but I had no idea when it was actually going to happen or not. Other than that, I devoured the crap out of this book. My head is still reeling over everything that happened, especially the ending, because I seriously need the next book.

Overall, I'm totally forgetting my damn TBR or BR schedule and diving into book 2 this week. #NOREGRETS

God it's been SO LONG since I managed to write a review... that's what happens when your beloved laptop (only 2 years old) suddenly falls prey to an unfixable software issue AND YOU HAVE TO BUY A NEW ONE. Thanks a lot, Microsoft.

Note to anyone considering buying a new device: the Surface Pro line might look gorgeous but the customer care is awful. Not worth it. Anyway, back to the actual review, which is brought to you by my new HP Envy.

This wasn't a bad book. Yes, Fox often uses words that don't mean what I think she thinks they mean. She also overuses some works ('rebuke', for example, which is often used even when nobody is actually being rebuked). I do occasionally get the impression that she used a thesaurus without being totally aware that synonymous words can't always be applied in exactly the context - for instance, you can't 'look culpable', but you can look 'guilty.'

But you know what? I kind of enjoyed this book anyway. The plotline was fun and surprisingly not very angsty. There's really no bullying AT ALL. Friends like Gimme, I do warn you that one hero lets an OW feel him up after being infuriated at the heroine's perceived betrayal, but there's nothing that I consider to have crossed an unforgiveable line.

In short - not the most well-written, but I look forward with some greediness to the sequel.

”This girl stole the only light in my life, so she deserves only darkness in hers.”

I have no words.
None.
This book was epic.
I was addicted.
I literally read it in one sitting, inhaling the words. Needing to know what was coming next.

Ivy Fox is a new to me author but you can guarantee that I will be reading all of her books now!

Ivy bought her A game with Heartless.

This story took me by surprise because it wasn’t what I was expecting at all.

The guys.... just swoon!!

Ash is a jump in head first and not think about the consequences kind of guy. He has a temper but when he loves, he loves so fiercely and I fell for him even though he made stupid decisions that made me cry and wanna throat punch him.

Ollie is more reserved. He wants to be more like his brother because he thinks with his head first before reacting and wishes he could shut down his feelings easier like Ash. But he stole my heart just as much as Asher did.

Also the adults in the story made me incredibly stabby.

Holland was such a kick ass. She has been dealt blow after blow all of her life and when the one thing that made her happy, that she gripped onto with both hands is ripped away from her... I wanted to cry for her. No one deserves to be treated the way she did and my heart went out to her. The girl loves with all of her heart and would do anything for these boys. It makes me heart hurt just thinking about it.

I loved the secondary characters, even though Rome
Could be an absolute asshat he snuck his way into my heart and I can’t wait to read more about him. Also Elle, everyone wants a friend like her. I really hope she gets her own book.

Also.... DAMN YOU IVY FOR THAT CLIFFHANGER!!!

I need more words and need them now!

This book has killed me. Bought me to my knees.

I bow down to you Ivy because you’ve just gained yourself a fan for life.

Everyone pick this book up when it releases. You won’t regret it.

i have a soft spot (more like guilty pleasure) for h that are submissive for their parents or bullies and they slowly develop into a confident take-no-shit person. Holland had that potential but everything else from this book didn’t work for me.

Rome had a potential arc, but i’m not interested enough to continue. The twins.... hell nah. And Elle was the one good thing here :) I’m curious for the rest of the story, but I just know I’ll skim through them the same way I did with this one. So i’m out.

This is how one writes a bully romance!
The slow build of the relationships.
The love that turns to heartbreak and pain. The secrets. The twists and turns. The characters you love and hate.
I loved how each character is unique and adds to the layers of the story.
And that ending!
Ivy Fox leaves you with an intense cliffhanger that will have you wanting Book 2 immediately!

“She already was my beginning, and it looks like she’ll be my inescapable end, too. “

MAJOR SPOILERS THROUGHOUT:
My feelings are very complicated when it comes to this book. On one hand, I was loving the ships and I read the whole book in one sitting because I couldn't put it down. On the other hand, I spent the first half of the book with an overwhelming feeling of dread because I knew this was a bully romance and something had to set that off. I spent the second half of the book just wishing I could go back to the first half when things were happy. While I understood why it happened and the characters' choices, I hated the whole situation.

Holland- I spent the majority of this book feeling bad for Holland. Her home life was utter crap and the only joy she had been able to carve out for herself was stolen from her, all because of one giant misunderstanding. I get that she lied and kept things from the guys, but there is no way that she deserves any of what she is getting in return.

Ollie & Asher- While I loved these two in the beginning of this story, my feelings started to get more and more complicated as the book went on. Yes, I understand their anger and heartbreak over the situation... but I do not condone their actions in any way. Holland does not deserve what they are doing and I agree with her when she asks herself if they loved her as much as they think they did if they were willing to abandon her so easily. I understand their hurt, but I am the type of person that I would do anything for the person I love and I would at least let them explain themselves before I completely turned my back on them. I feel like the boys gave up on Holland entirely to quickly and I really hope they pull their heads out of their asses in the next book.

Roman- I feel bad for Roman and what happened to him with Addison, but I can't help but feel like he is the catalyst for this whole fiasco. He had no business getting in between Holland and the boys and I think none of this would have happened if not for him. Roman, out of everyone, needs to pull his head out of his ass. I'm hoping he realizes his mistakes in the next book and helps Holland get her guys back.

The Ending- I don't think that that was much of a plot twist. I saw it coming from a mile away... I just didn't know that it would happen so soon. I'm not looking forward to the repercussions of it either. The only good thing that can come out of it is that it can bring Holland the guys closer together.

What I Didn't Like- Besides what is mentioned above, my biggest problem with this book would have to be its over-reliance on the miscommunication trope. While I understand its necessity to further the plot of this book, I just wanted to slap some of the characters and force them to talk to each other! Things would have gone a lot better if they just sat their egos and feelings aside and just LISTENED!!!

Overall, I did enjoy this book and I will be continuing the series. After that, I just don't know. I am hoping for a lot of changes in the next book and, if they aren't done, I don't believe I could continue. I just have too many issues that need to be resolved.

Everybody lies

Compelling story. Believable characters. My heart breaks for the FMC. She has had it rough. Her mom is cold and cruel. Her dad died. She's sick. Not much at all going for her. Except her guys... at least she has them. Until she doesn't. Because lies are a betrayal of trust no matter what your reasons and justifications are.

Her step dad is a piece of work. But that ending? WTH just happened?

Asher and Oliver - fraternal twins... and they both love her. They were willing to both be with her. She loves both of them too. But she couldn't trust them with the truth of who she is and her situation soon enough. She planned to let them have one more summer where everything was carefree and fun before spilling.

Life happens. They feel betrayed but their actions after finding out are awful.

This is a bully romance, reverse harem, with several triggers. Triggers are suicide, drugs, alcohol, sex, step brother taboo (though they weren't step when things began), language, psychological abuse by parents, physical abuse, humiliation, and general teenage bratty nonsense.

Why read it? Holland is a great FMC and while her past sucks I want to see everything get better for her. So, yes, I will read the next book.

All of the emotions between the characters and the story made this such an easy book to devour. Then that ending just blew me away, I loved it.

Upon starting this book I wasn’t sure how this would be a bully romance/ enemies to lovers but I think the author did a great job with the twists. I loved the constantly changing dynamics and relationships between the characters. I also liked the introduction to new settings, different characters and new tensions and problems.

Very thankful I don’t have to wait for book 2 because I don’t think I would have enjoyed waiting after that cliffhanger.

***Possible Spoiler amongst this Rant Review… PROCEED WITH CAUTION 🤓***
Damn this book. Almost every chapter had me feeling some type of way and I can honestly say this was a tough one for me to finish and even tougher to rate. The beginning is so cute and adorable. We are witness to the already growing relationship between the heroine and her two twins and how after this summer they all plan a future together once they graduate highschool. The heroines home life is hell as is the guys’ so neither speak of it much. Besides they’ve only ever had months together throughout the year and so they all try to make the most of it. Along comes their older scorned brother with a chip on his shoulder to ruin everything for them. This was when the anger stage kicked in for me. After this point it was rage, heartbreak, loathing, madness and lots of murderous thoughts. I’m so pissed at how things evolved and how no one gave anyone the opportunity to talk. Over a stupid issue everything blows up and they all become enemies. I know for many this is where these bully storylines strike a nerve and I can honestly say this one had my eye twitching and hands feeling stabby.

Did the heroine redeem herself and make them feel bad, earn her back or have a backbone? Sadly this is a big fat NO. She turned into the now too common female overrun by hormones and self pity. I honestly hate her as I’m writing this review. I want to throttle her but I guess that’s better than how I feel about the guys and wanting to make voodoo dolls of them so I can torture them. It’s not been 100% confirmed but it does seem like the twins or at least just one slept with other(s) after the breakup. To be perfectly honest if that cliffhanger of an ending didn’t come out of nowhere and bitch slap me back to awareness I’m not sure I would want to go on. Because of this I will give it a go and really hope this is it for the heroine and she becomes a strong woman and maybe makes them pay for a change. They’ve been cruel and none more so than their brother who I’m assuming will eventually be the third to complete the harem. Not sure how I feel about this. Sure he caught his father mid-sex with his girlfriend and thinks every woman is out to get him but that does not excuse his blaming Holland for being just like her mother when not once throughout the book has she shown that to be true. If this idiot would just open his eyes he’d be eating his words lickety split but nope he wants to live in his own stubborn bubble.

Holland aka Snow also has a health condition and so I really don’t get everyone’s treating her this way. How can everyone blame all this on her and still be so stupid? But then I remind myself even them prancing other girls in front of her hasn’t made her stop blaming herself and so we come full circle and I hate everyone lol. Again it’s the cliffy that has me intrigued and ready for more. I’d also like to find out what her mother and their father had planned. It’s clear there’s more going on there than we know but what the hell could it be? They had to know creating a facade of a happy family would not hold out forever?!? And what does it mean now that… well, that things have turned bloody? This was a crazy RH soap opera full of angst, drama, some sexy times and a whole lot of emotional turmoil, approach this trilogy with caution: Perhaps read with alcohol 🍹🍸🍷 Steer clear of sharp objects!.

With probably my last two brain cells left, I will try to write this review. So, please bear with me if my review sounds a bit all over the place, incoherent or just plain senseless. Why you ask am I like this? Well, I just finished reading this remarkable and gripping book; the culprit for my sleep deprivation.

OMG, you guys! This book and its author are HEARTLESS! And don’t let me start with the boys of this series too. I JUST CAN’T! WHY? Why you do me like that? I am seriously on the fence whether to hate or love this newest series of the author. Maybe it was both? Because it was so damn good! But what did I expect? Ever since her recently concluded Rotten Love Duet (which I adore!), let just say that I’m eagerly anticipating this book. And boy, did this book delivered!

Without giving away too many details, this book nailed bully romance on its head. The bully element is perfectly rendered and appropriate in the story. The drama and angst factor was brought on by deceits, lies and betrayals that surrounds them. I’m telling you, the feels of this story hits me right in the chest! There is no other way you won’t be able to feel and relate with the hurt, pain and heartbreak of a true love that these characters felt.

Told in multiple POV, the story enables you to have a glimpse to each main characters thoughts and feelings. Snow is a smart young woman but dealt with shitty parents. She learned to be self reliant, see the positive in a situation, and doesn’t give her trust easily. I don’t want to play favorites, but as of this moment, I love Roman. He may be rude, cold and hard hearted but he hides a soft spot for those he truly loves. The twins, Asher and Oliver, may be my second favorite set of twins out there in the book world. Ash with his impish, volatile, fun attitude and sensitive, logical, hot Ollie; they are like night and day. I couldn’t get enough of these two. My other favorite is Elle, the only rose among the Grayson’s thorns. She is sassy, wise beyond her years and a force to be reckoned with. I think I will have to retract my earlier sentiment and say instead that all of them are my favorites, LOL.

I loved every second I’ve spent reading this baby and I can’t wait to read the next one because that ending is a killer! I may have screamed bloody murder and nearly proceeded to throw my e-reader, so ladies be prepared for a major book hangover. Love, love, love it!

I loved Ivy's last series A Rotten Love Duet( which was a mafia teen rom)
And, I kind of love this one too.

I like that Holland is a tough girl, and the relationship she has with the brothers. It is nice to see how they met during summer breaks, and how much they loved her.
And, I love the pace of the story.

But, I have a problem with 2 things
1. Why the guys still acted mean to her, after they accepted what she told them as the truth.
There was an explanation given by one of the brothers. But, it just seemed kind of stupid why they wouldn't forgive her and make up. it wasn't a strong enough reason. but the author needed to make them be the bullies in this bully romance.
2. In these bully romances, I don't like if one of the guys is overly mean and does something that crosses the line to get back at her in a sexual way. And, one of the guys does that when he thinks Holland lied to him. Which left me not so happy. I kind of get why she wanted to make it edgy. But,no. But, besides that one thing I didn't care for there was lots of other things Ivy did right in the story.

Then, we got Roman who is the brother that wasn't in a relationship with Holland, and thought she was a gold digger like her mom from the beginning. He hasn't done anything to her, and he is softening up to her a bit.
But, it was left on such a good cliff hanger! So , i'll read book 2

HEUGH.

Okay. Okay. This book is dark, stressful, and emotional.

I hate all the love interests. Genuinely do. They disgust me. Especially Roman.

Only characters I like is Holland, Elle, and her grandma. Everyone else can die in a ditch, covered in petrol and set on fire.

I am reading the next one SOLELY for Holland. I need to know the rest of her story. She didn't deserve any of this shit. And jeezus she is so strong to hold on. Also

I digress.

Heartless indeed.

i had such high hopes but i got disappointed sadly. i got so annoyed and pissed how fast they turned around and believed their brother that she was fake and that she was a liar and stuff. Like omg they didn´t even let her speak and explain. I hated it when they didn´t let the mc dance with others or let her do what she wanted when they could dance with other girls, and ofc they had slept with so many girls before her.. my heart hurt for our mc she was soooo innocent and she so didn´t deserves all the hate she got and their cold shoulders. Like damn over react much, i get why they react strongly to when people lie cuz of their cunt of a father but still tho. Annnd their idiot of a big brother, i wanted to slap and punch his damn face to get him to wake the f up, he just spreading lies about snow, the mc...
"the reason the twins were mean to her was kind of stupid, and Roman is pretty petty and bitter. And just wanted to make people as miserable as him because he has his heart broken. His character is immature for his age and extremely disappointing." preach

HOLY FUCK. Okay this has been sitting on my tbr for a bit. I haven't been in the mood for bully romances or anything with even a hint of angst. Let me tell you guys, even if you're not a fan of RH pick this up. From the first page you're intrigued. I can't explain why, but it's true. This book doesn't follow the traditional idea of bullying and you'll understand once you start this.

Snow has a secret. It's not one she likes to keep, but it's to protect those closest to her...those that have her heart. She knows what cruelty is and she doesn't want that to tarnish those that she loves. But the wicked witch that is her mother blows in and ruins everything good she's found for herself.

The Graysons know one thing and it's that their father is awful. He's more than the bane of their existence. He's a slimy snake they have to deal with. He only gets worse when he introduces a new woman into their life and makes theres hell.

I tried to write a review without spoilers because this is simply something you have to experience on your own. You have to go into this blind because if you don't you'll regret it. Now I can't wait for Soulless to come out next month!

okay!!!!

I want to start this review by saying, wow, it is fucking refreshing to read an 'academy, bully, RH' that ISN'T a carbon copy of every other book.
This book was completely different to the other 6 million books that surround this troupe, and I feel justified saying this because I've basically read them all this year.

Ivy Fox brought such a different story to the table, that it was easy to fall into and get absorbed into these characters lives/stories.

Holland, or Snow, is dating two twin brothers, but is lying about who she is in a sense, and has been for two years.
Then, her mother ends up marrying their father. & everything goes up in flames. everything.
Throw in their older brother who she also has mad sexual tension with and I'm shook.

Her mother is the biggest god damn bitch in the entire world, and one of my favorite parts of this book was how much everyone hates her, I'm not even sorry.
There's so many different little pieces to this story, and I'm not going to mention them to avoid spoilers, but holy fuck. Book 2 is about to fuck me, I can feel it. I don't even want to read it right now. I just want my boys and snow to be in the weird little happy bubble they belong in.

Dammit, I could not put this book down.

🖤 The story 🖤
The book is about Holland, a girl with a troubled past. Her mother isn't a very loving person, but luckily she has her two boyfriends to make up for it. At least, until her past is revealed.

I enjoyed this story a lot. I knew exactly how the book would go, but that doesn't mean I enjoyed it any less. There was so much foreshadowing going on - like how Ollie stays mad when he's mad and stuff like that, which made me dread the heartbreak that I knew was coming even more. The ending however? That surprised the hell out of me. I really want to go and read the next book, but I read until 4 in the morning and have a lot of stuff to do today, so I'm kinda regretting my choices at this point.

🖤 The characters 🖤
🎼Holland/Snow🎼
I liked Holland, she's been through a lot, and we're slowly figuring out what exactly that entails. I just want to say that I have so many theories, Anyway, I did get really frustrated about the fact that she just does NOT communicate. Seriously, EVERY SINGLE THING in this book could've been avoided (well, all the heartbreak concerning the guys at least) if she just communicated? She lied about the most stupid things ever, and it was so unnecessary. Dammit, I'm getting SO annoyed again. It just made 0 sense that she lied about so much stuff, and it was so freaking unnecessary. Argh. I hope she'll communicate better in the next books. Besides that, I think she's a very strong character with a lot of potential. I love how 'normal' she is, in just working for her money and treating the staff like normal people. I love the side characters as well, like Xavier and Candy. Can't wait to see their relationship progress, and I'm hoping we'll be seeing more of them.
Anyway, her mother is the most scary b**** that I've ever seen. Damn.

I'm just dicussing them all in one paragraph. I didn't expect I'm not going to say a lot about Roman, I hate his guts at this point. I can see him being a bullying love interest, but I hate how he just thinks EVERYONE is like Addison. Argh, just because you got your heart broken once (and in a savage way may I add, damn girl) doesn't mean everyone is evil all of the sudden. Anyway, I loved both Ash and Ollie. The relationship between them is so cute, and I love the strong bond between the twins. I really, really love the changing POV's, because it gives so much more depth to the characters! I love reading from Ash and Ollie's POV, although I don't like Roman's because I despise him. I'm just happy to see them all kind of suffering - which sounds like I'm a psycho, but I normally really miss that in bully romance books. I'm kinda scared to see them all go to Pembroke, because Roman will definitely be trouble.. I can't wait for them all to be in each other's good books again. I love Elle, and I saw that there's a book about her; so I'm already really excited to read that after this series!

🖤 Overall conclusion 🖤
I could not put this book down. I enjoyed it a lot, although I definitely feel like a lot of trouble could be avoided if Holland just communicated like a normal person. The story ended on a major cliffhanger, and I can't wait to see how it'll all play out. I'm hoping Vivienne dies bye

Decent start

Good start with potential, just hope this series gets better. This is a first that I've read the characters begin in a polyamorous relationship. I liked that dynamic and the chemistry that they had. My main issue was that everything from that point on was predictable. I saw all of that bad coming and the fact that it happened at like 60-70% into the book was insane. I wanted to shake Oliver and Asher - so much for undying love - their reaction was just so OTT they didn't even let her explain for the longest and acted so obtuse when she did. Hope the next book isn't as predictable.

This was a great read. I’m quite taken with the characters and the story. It’s a soft bully romance with a twist, and it’s got my favorite trope — siblings.

I do not know about everyone else but I have been looking forward to this story for a long time. And let me tell you, I was not disappointed. So much has happened here that it takes a minute to process. I can tell you that you are in for a bumpy ride.

We have our female lead Holland. I have to tell you I really felt for her. She has been dealt a crappy hand in life. She finds some happiness and tries to hold on to it. She loved so much, and to have that ripped from you. She is really such a sweetheart, and to see her go through everything, just breaks your heart for her.

The Guys, Ollie, Ash and Roman. At first you will adore Ash and Roman. You can see that when they love, they love fierce and wholly. But when they think that is broken, they hate just as much. I have to tell you, I wanted to freaking hit both of them all the way through. They are going to have to make up for a lot. Roman the same, but he has more of a whatever vibe.
The story is fast paced, flows fluidly, well worded, and I would not be surprised if you finished in one setting. I will warn you though, that is one hell of a cliffhanger.

Off to the next I go

Book one in this reverse harem series.

This book revolves around Holland, aka snow, a girl who comes from unloving parents, and her relationship with two brothers. With the twins wanting to take their relationship to the next level, a wrench is put into their plans when snow becomes their stepsister. Everything they think they knew and loved about snow is overcast with betrayal, even though we know our girl had no part in anything that went on, the guys don’t know that and their hearts have been obliterated.

This book felt more like a prequel to the “high school bully” aspect of the series since this book is really showing you the relationships between all of the main characters and it takes place before school starts for their senior year. But it definitely sets it up so we for sure can expect our girl to be a pariah once school starts in the next book. There’s no hardcore bullying, just acting out due to broken hearts. I really liked all of the characters and I’m anxious to see where this series goes after that unexpected cliffhanger

Holy shiiiiit... I don't even know what else to say.
I need MORE!!!

I've been looking forward to this story ever since Ivy first started talking about it, and oh my gahhh.. it did NOT disappoint. I inhaled this book. Trust me, you won't want to put it down once starting it. Ivy Fox brings the angst, drama, lies, steam, and then leaves you craving the next book in the series.

Ollie and Asher made it so easy to fall for them, but dammit, they also made me want to throw my kindle at the wall.
As for Roman, I admit I wanted to throat punch him the majority of the time but I am also REALLY looking forward to more of his interactions with Holland.

Ivy Fox knows how to write bully romances and fans of the genre will NOT be disappointed.

What a strange bunch of characters this has - if you’re hoping for a high school bully romance, I think you’ll be disappointed.

I have read some odd books in my time, but this one was very hard for me to stick with. Too many characters and too many different POV being told made this a bit of a hot mess.

Straight away I didn’t like Snow’s relationship with Ollie and Ash and it took a lot of effort for me to pick this book back up to finish. The characters have already met prior to this book starting and the frankly bizarre twin ménage with Snow just felt emotionless to me as a result.

Essentially I didn’t feel their connection at all. The boy’s ‘love’ for Snow in the first half of this book felt ridiculous and rather nauseating.

Heartless left me in tatters and i doubt it will be better until the next book! It made me laugh and cry with characters i both loved and hated in equal measure. I just wanted to hug Holland aka Snow. I felt for her with hardly anyone on her side and a Grade A b***h of a mother. A truly horrible woman! Then with all other problems with Roman, Ash and Ollie. I wanted to slap the three of them silly. The only redeeming person in that family at the mo is Elle. A lovely character. Oh and that ending??? Floored by that one but cliffhanger endings are Ms Fox's MO and they are always outstanding! All i can say is this book Heartless is anything but. Loved it!

Mmmm

Ollie and ash are in love with snow after years of beating around the bush they finally tell her what they want when there all happy and looking forward to the future the inevitable happens.... her cold hearted bitch of a mum remarries a disgusting vile man who turns out to be her boyfriends dad... there now family.... cant really date your step brothers not that they want to they think she conned them and everything between them is a lie... lots happens and it ends with a cliff hanger. Is a good story different in a good way and am looking forward to seeing how the next one plays out......
