Alyne Hart is a contemporary romance author living in the mountains of Eastern Washington. She's known for writing stories that pack an emotional punch and get you right in the feels.

She loves writing very real and deeply flawed characters and writing about honest, gritty, and raw romance. She's a romance junkie and happy endings addict, and if you’re a lover of deeply emotional reads with lots of delicious angst, her books are for you. This book will hook you from the very beginning and not let you go till you close the book. Miley and Killian have known each other since they were kids and it didn't take them very long to become the best of friends. Best friends that are in love with each other but just keep that little fact to themselves. When tragedy strikes in Killian's life in high school they are separated for a few years but when they are reunited they decide it is time to move away and land modeling jobs. But when Miley meets Luke things get kind of crazy as she finds her strongly attracted to him and feeling things that she always thought that she would feel for Killian. What a tangled they weave and things are not all sunshine and roses because Killian has an addiction that he is not able to kick. This book is a really great read and my first book by Alyne Hart but it sure won't be my last.

This book drew me in so quickly and didn’t let me go until I consumed the entire thing. I binged this book so hard. The premise of the book had me so intrigued because it had so many different tropes going on that I didn’t know where this story was going to go....

I finished it, but I still have no idea what is going to happen next.

I have so many mixed emotions when it comes to where I want the book to go....

First of all, I’m so obsessed with this main character. She is such a loveable girl and I just want her to live her best life, but I honestly can’t decide where I want her life to go...

Then we have the sexy sexy men vying for her heart....

She has Kellan Bellarose.... Best friend since childhood, sassy bad boy with a traumatic past (YUM) However.... He has insecurities and issues that aren’t so cute.

The story is told through multiple perspectives and switching from past and present timelines so that we can get what is on everyone’s mind and we can see how the MC’s relationship grew and developed with Kellan at a young age and Lucas later in her life.

Then there is Lucas St. James.... Sexy, older, dreamy, rich and he treats her like gold....!?!

WHY CAN’T SHE HAVE BOTH!?!?!

This is why I read reverse harem romances because I can never feel satisfied with just one. UGH SO ANNOYING.

The book ended in such a place where I need the next book as soon as possible and I just want to know what happens.... I wouldn’t say it was a cliffhanger, but it was more like an ending where the plot could take any direction and I just want to know which one it will be.

PLEASE MS. HART, send me the book as soon as possible because this MC deserves to be happy with no strings attached.

Oh, the start of this book sucked me right in with its teenage friends who secretly crush on each other tale. It touched my Dawson’s Creek loving heart down the core and from those first few chapters, I could not—and would not—put Glitter down.
There was this depth of sadness that both Miley and Kellan carried as kids that was so heartbreaking and it only made me love Miley more because she hoped for more, wished for more and as soon as she got the chance, went after more. Kellan didn’t handle his as well, then again their pain was NOT the same. Not at all. My emotions were all over the place in the first few chapters and that emotional chaos continued through to the very end.
“I always see you first, Shooting Star.” With that one line, I was a goner and I knew that no matter how bad things got for Kellan, I would root for him.
What do you do when the boy you’ve always loved turns into a beautifully scarred man with hints of that boy still lurking beneath the surface? Miley doesn’t know, especially when Kellan is spiraling and she feels things for someone who isn’t Kellan.
Glitter is a powerful story about love and friendship, loyalty and addiction. It’s the good, the bad and the ugly of lifelong friends and the modeling industry and I am here for it!
This is just Book 1 in the Enigma Models Inc., series and I’m not sure how author Alyne Hart is going to top it, but I’m here to be convinced!

This is riveting it pulls you in from the very first page until the very end you can't stop turning the pages to see what's going to happen. Miley and Kellan meet as kids and become best friends although they both love each other they stay best friends. A tragic event in Kellan's life separates them in high school for a few years. When they run into each other again they move away and they land modeling careers together and things get interesting when Miley meets Luke. Miley and Kellan are struggling with their feelings for each other and Kellan's doing too much partying. Miley has feelings for Luke that she's used to only having for Kellan she's not sure how to handle having feelings for both men being in a love triangle. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this fantastic story to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading this book.

All that Glitters

Glitter is the first book in the Enigma Models INC series. This book gives us the world of Miley and Kellan and be warned that this book does end with a cliffhanger, so you need to be ready to read Sparkle. This story is well written, pulls you in from the beginning and then keeps you riveted late into the night. Both Miley and Kellan are wonderfully developed with a depth to their feelings for each other. But then add in Luke and things get really interesting and intense. At the heart of this story it is all about love - who we love, how we love, how we are loved, and how long we love. I am looking forward to reading Sparkle next to see where the author takes these characters and their interesting journey.

This book of awesomeness is book one of a duet. It ends on a bit of a cliffhanger. However, I absolutely loved the chance to read and get to know Miley, Kellan and Luke through this great story. We cannot pick our parents, we do not all have a house perfect with the white picket fence and our childhoods are not always a chance to be a kid. We do have the chance to make the best of things, appreciate what do have and find an amazing best friend. This is Miley and Kellan's story. Luke wants to be in Miley's life but does she have room for both of them? I cannot wait to read book two. Enjoy!

Glitter was an emotional and intriguing story of friendship with love and whether your dreams are coming true or is your life becoming a nightmare? This is my first read by Alyne Hart and after the impact this story had on my heart, it will not be the last.
Miley and Kellan were ten years old when they first met. They became fast friends with each harboring feelings greater than friendship that they kept secret from each other. When Kellan experiences a tragedy while in high school, they lose touch. When they meet later down the road, they decide to move beyond their meager beginnings and move to Los Angeles. Both are surprised when they both get signed to Enigma Models, INC. While Miley embraces her new career, Kellan develops a hard partying lifestyle that leads to an addiction he can’t seem to fight. Then she meets Luke St. James. He’s sexy, a little dangerous and quite a bit older than her. She develops feelings for him that she’s only ever had for Kellan. This love triangle takes her by surprise. Luke is willing to do whatever it takes to get Miley and keep her. Miley struggles with her fledgling feelings for Luke and her worry over Kellan’s addiction.
I was pulled in from the very beginning and I stayed engaged until the cliffhanger. My heart went out to Kellan. His struggles coupled with addiction was something I know a little about. I really want him to be chosen. I’m excited to read the second book in this duet, Sparkle. The plot was well-developed and the characters were realistic in their creation. I highly recommend you give this friends to lovers and age gap romance a try. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

Angsty goodness

I’m not normally a fan of love triangles but this book had me hooked from the first page. Miley is gorgeous, rainbows and sunshine, and I loved her so much. And to be honest I’m not sure who I want her to end up with. Angsty, broody Kellan who loves her more than life, or sweet, sexy Luke, and who knew a guy could be both, who thinks she’s his world.
There’s twists and turns, sunshine and angst, and a story that gave me all the feels.

I'm torn between Kellan and Luke. I wonder who Miley will choose at the end of the day??

This is a rewrite, turning a short story series into a novella. I didn't realise it would end in a cliffhanger but I don't even mind as long as the wait isn't too long. There are so many negative situations in this book, set against the glamour of modelling that it heightens the trauma. I need to know how it plays out.

We meet Kellan and Miley when they are young and become best friends. Friends turn into lovers. Then Miley has feelings for another guy, this start to get messy and Kellan goes off the rails. It pulls you in immediately, and what a cliffhanger. I recommend reading this book.

I received a copy of this arc in an exchange for my honest review. This is book one in an all new series, Enigma Models Inc. I absolutely loved this ! It begins with Miley and Kellan as kids, quickly becoming best friends . Both are usually on their own, as their parents are never present and treat them poorly. Through the years they both know they love one another, but only remain best friends. They get separated in high school by a tragic event in Kellan’s life and don’t see one another until a few years later. They pull their lives together and move away, falling into a modeling career together. Things become crazy though when Miley meets Luke. Kellan is partying too much, and Miley and Kellan struggling with their feelings for one another. Things put Miley in a love triangle between the two men in her life, and life seems to spiral out of control as she fights her feelings between the two of them. Reading alternating chapters in the different characters points of view I felt was key to the fantastic character and story development. I love when authors do this. It takes you deeper into their mindset and you feel everything deeper and it all feels so real.
This book I would say is a mild slow burn, with moderate angst. I really loved this story. I didn’t realize going into it that it is part of a series, and now I’m slowly dying waiting for book two!

This is book one in The Enigma Models INC Series. When Miley was ten her mother decided to move them yet again and as they moved so often that meant that Miley never got to make friend's and she was always alone until she met Kellan who lived across the street and that was when Miley's life changed as they became best friend's and inseparable and as the year's went by the closer they became and there feelings for each other changed but one night Kellan went home to find that his parent's were dead and his grandmother came and took him away separating them for the first time in year's leaving them more broken and alone than ever. They meet again year's later and there friendship is just as strong as before but so are there feelings for each other but Kellan never thought that he was good enough for Miley and then Luke enters the picture changing everything but not for the better as Kellan starts to destroy himself so that he can't feel any pain but it gets out of hand ending in disaster. Omg this book takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions and had me in tears with everything that they had gone through and what an explosive cliff hanger ending. I can't wait to read the next book to see what will happen next and what the outcome will be for them all and I recommend that you read this book but remember that you will have to read the next one to complete their story.

This is the first in a new series and what a wonderful beginning this story it. Miley and Kellen grew up together as best friends, and from an early age Miley has loved him, but they are torn apart by a tragedy. These two reconnect and leave together to go to LA where they are signed up at the same modelling agency. Miley and Kellen are struggling with their feeling toward each other, and he is getting out of control with his parting. This brings Luke into Miley’s life, and he will do anything to claim her. Now that Miley engages in a love triangle, who will she choose? This is a well written story which is a slow burn, and is intriguing, entertaining, and with a cliffhanger which left me desperate for more. I look forward to reading the next book, and I highly recommend this talented authors work.

First book in a new series that will keep you eagerly turning the pages. I absolutely loved this! There's a lot going on between the characters, there's first love, new love, substance abuse and a total rollercoaster ride that will leave you with a cliff hanger and screaming for what's next.
