This book describes in detail all possible risks a project typically faces right from its inception till its delivered to the client. The author has divided the risks into 9 categories which touches various aspects like infrastructure, technology/tools, working with difficult customers, importance of processes & standards, surviving external factors like a pandemic, challenges faced while working in teams, outperforming competitors, leadership, etc.

This book provides valuable & first hand knowledge which would be useful to any individual in his 20's 30's or 40's working in any industry , more so in the IT industry.

101 Secrets of Project Risk Management by Manoj Yadav is an eye-opening book which people from all sectors will benefit from. With quotes and pointers in every section, one gets to learn about the frequently overlooked facts. As someone who has been in the industry for two years, I feel that I have taken the right decision by purchasing this book at an early stage of my career. This book will stay on my shelf. I would recommend it to my managers and peers. The author has done an amazing job at narrowing down important aspects of project management, as it gathers knowledge which would have otherwise taken years of experience to learn from. The research and work done by Yadav is top-notch. It's by no means a must read for those who aim to achieve better as they climb the ladder. 5/5 stars
