It's easy to write a guide. Paste some pictures, spew out some text from the internet. But a guide is supposed to be used by travelers. We drove from Arbatax to Oristano. Unfortunately we relied on the map of Oristano in the book. Why else is it in there. Unfortunately the names of the streets were abbreviated to such a level that this name was actually in a town nearby. Thank god it wasn't too far from where we had to be. But we wasted so much time. We ended up at a dangerous industrial spot in Santa Giusta, where a loose dog attacked us. Oristano itself so called had "a shopping street full of luxury stores", but it was like an alley in NYC. We went away from there fast. Then we tried to go to the mentioned Reserve of Sale Porce, stupid name, which was so called on the peninsula nearby. Wrong again. It is 30 km north of the peninsula, on the land, and not nice at all. A dried out salt desert without shade. Did the author ever visit the island? I think not because there is a "fact checker" mentioned in the credits. Guys, if you want to make money with travel guides, stop making things up. The only fact check you can do is by seeing it for yourself.
