He was my savior once.
Twice.
Now he’s become my tormentor.

Hayden Montgomery was my best friend’s big brother. The last time I saw him was that Halloween night. The night he found me in the ruin of the chapel. The night he carried me home through a storm that was the omen warning us all of what would come.

That was five years ago.
Now, he’s back. But he’s not the same man he was.

Once upon a time, I’d fantasized about our happily-ever-after. Once upon a time, I think I loved him.

But that was before he stood in the wreckage that is now my life and offered me the solution to my problems. And the cost? My body and my soul.

There’s something dark between Hayden and me. It binds us for better or for worse. Mostly worse. Like the moth to the flame, we can’t seem to resist the draw.

I just don’t know which of us is the moth and which the flame, but either way, we’re both going to get burned.

'DESCENT' Is a full length standalone dark romance novel by Natasha Knight. In this we meet Persephone & Hayden aka Hades. Spoken in 'Dual Perspectives.'

Wow what a CrAzY ride this one was!! I was reeled in right from that very first page and held captive within its pages until that last one stated 'The End.' I inhaled this in one sitting!!

PAST: Persephone and Hades had known each other when she was a child and he a teenager, one Halloween night he had stepped in and rescued her from his stepsister and stepbrother from their family chapel when something underhanded seemed to be taking place. He whisked her away to safety and that was the last time he'd laid eyes on her.

FAST FORWARD FIVE YEARS: Persephone Abbot is left floundering in the wake of her fathers near death after a hit and run has him bedridden barely hanging on to life, that's not the only thing that has her tethering on the edge because everything within the walls of their empire comes crumbling down in a shower of financial ruin.

“Hades. He was my savior once. Twice. Now he's become my tormentor. And I don't ever want him to let me go.”

Enter Hades. He has an unorthodox proposition securing her as his. An eye for an eye. Being stuck between a brick and a hard place she has no choice but to jump in with the devil surrendering her body and soul in the process.

“Persephone Abbot belongs to me. She always has. And now, she belongs in my bed, too. And I’ll make sure she stays there no matter what I have to do.”

There was so much happening in this, twists and turns that I never saw coming, like a train derailing there was destruction everywhere..

Persephone Abbot belongs to me. She always has. And now, she belongs in my bed, too. And I’ll make sure she stays there no matter what I have to do.

Natasha Knight books are like crack for me. I devour them in one sitting and can never get enough. Her stories are sexy and addictive, and Descent was no exception. It was deliciously sinful, gritty, and with a dark undercurrent that I was immediately hooked on.
Hades.
He was my savior once.
Twice.
Now he’s become my tormentor.
And I don’t ever want him to let me go.

Persephone is reeling in the aftermath of her beloved father tragic accident and trying to hold together the pieces of his crumbling empire. Hayden "Hades" is a boy that she was enraptured by in her past, but is now the man that threatens everything she holds dear. He now holds the key to her father's company, house, and he's not above making her beg for it. A deal is struck, Persephone, in exchange for her continuing to live in her family house that Hades now owns, and keep the name of her father's company that now lies in Hades's ownership as well.

Hades has a clear axe to grind with the Abbots, and Persephone is a convenient collateral. He's wanted her for years, and now he intends to have her. Even if he has to buy her to do it. He knows something that Percy doesn't about her father. But Percy also has secrets of her own. Dark secrets that could unravel everything.

Descent was a page turner full of secrets, plot twists, and sizzling romance. It was sinfully sexy and deliciously dark. There's plenty of secrets that get unraveled here, but it also left me with quite a few questions. I'm not sure if the plot just wasn't finished and may be continued in the next book, or if it was meant to be that way. It felt a little...rushed towards the end and there were some gaps that I had hoped would be addressed. But that aside, I enjoyed this story thoroughly. And can't wait for more in this world!

NOW AVAILABLE!!!!!

"I have to remind myself that he's only human.
A man.
He is no more Hades, God of the Underwold, than I am Persephone, daughter of Demeter.
He's just a man.
Human."

I enjoyed this ride so much!!! This story was sooo good!!!
I'm ashamed for that, but this was my first book by Natasha Knight, even though i have set my eyes on many books of hers...
This story was a story about revenge, about second chances, about redemption...
This was a story that i loved very much!!!

"Hades and I, there's something that binds us. It'a always been like this with us. Like a moth to the flame.
Except that I don't know which of us is the moth and which the flame that will burn the other."

Persephone and Hades... You all have heard the myth, right???
Well, in here there were one Persephone and there was her Hades that had come to claim her in a very anorthodox way...
Hayden was seeking revenge...
Persephone was seeking someone to rely on...
He wanted to destroy no matter what and whom...
She just wanted to survive the ugly storm that had swoop up her life lately...
He demanded to give him herself in order to help her...
She accepted in order to win some time...

"She's desperate.
And I won't let the opportunity pass me by...Persephone will be sacrificed, but that can't be helped. It's fitting, actually. Almost poetic.
An eye for an eye.
A girl for a girl."

"What if I say no?"
"You won't... It's what you've always wanted. I'm giving you what you've always wanted. What you're too weak to ask for yourself."

But between them were always lying something deeper...
Something that was drawing them together, but this time the darkness are swallowing them down...
Will they survive this arrangement??? And what will they have to sacrifice in order to succeed???

"He stole her away simply because he wanted her... Not to save her from anything.
"You forget one thing..."
"What's that?"
"Hades loved Persephone."

I can not deny that from the first moment all this dark aura and attraction between these two were pulling me in...
Persephone and Hayden in the same room were like fire and gazoline... It was inevitable that there had to be an explosion...
They were made for each other, even when they were doing nasty things to each other...
The pull between them was making me hot and bothered... and the sexy scenes were putting fire on my pants!!!

"Persephone Abbot belongs to me. She always has. And now, she belongs in my bed, too. And I'll make sure she stays there no matter what I have to do."

I loved dark and possessive Hayden...
Yes, he took what he really wanted in a very unorthodox way, but i couldn't not see from the very beginning that deep down inside he was caring...
Even though he was out for blood, he still cared and he was showing it in every touch and kind gesture...

"I don't know what it is with her.
No other woman has ever stirred such havoc inside me.
Not a single one."

Percy was trapped in others mistakes and she was drowning while she was trying to be there for everyone...
She was carrying a big burden and Hayden was making her life difficult more than it was already...
But she couldn't deny his proposition, even though i think that deep down inside she was craving this result...
Cause Persephony wanted her Hades for a long time before....

"He was a little scary back then.
Well, he's still a little scary now.
But I'd had this strange fascination for him.
The prodigal son.
The one who I only ever saw shadows of."

But the whole deal wasn't only about these two.... they were many more involved in this masquerade and the atmosphere with all these secrets was so suspenseful...
Well, i truly enjoyed this book and even though that i haven't read the Benedetti mafia books, i want to learn more about this bunch...
No, don't you worry! This book was a standalone.... And i totally recommend it!!!

"Hades loved Persephone. And he's right. She loved him, too.
But his love, it condemned her. It could only take. She wasn't the same even in the time she spent in the light.
Because once you let darkness love you, it won't ever let you go.
And you won't want it to."

A very good and full of twists mafia read.
Although it had a very intriguing plot snd was very well written, it didn’t manage to captivate me and have me invested in the characters.

Hades pursued Persephone with an almost obsessive determination. He was clear on what he wanted and wasn’t afraid of crossing lines in order to get his revenge and the girl to boot. It was clear to me that there was a spark between them but Persephone was definitely caught in the middle of a messed up history between their families. She paid the price more than most.

The plot had me intrigued and I couldn’t stop reading as the layers were peeled away. Ms. Knight does a great job with dark romance elements, pushing boundaries but not breaking them. The pace and writing were solid. Great imagery and character development.

I'll never tire of Mrs Knight's mafia and revenge stories!

In Descent, we are plunged into an intense and compelling tale, with mythological references I so enjoyed. Fast paced and twisted, it was a crazy ride.

"Hades. He was my savior once. Twice. Now he’s become my tormentor. And I don’t ever want him to let me go."

Percy (Persephone) loses everything to Hayden (Hades) as the pressure slowly closes in on her. Hayden is definitely an addictive antihero. Both dangerous and caring, he proves to be as merciless than protective and possessive. Percy's strength and determination make of her a fierce adversary, although I absolutely loved her vulnerabiltily. Their intense and raw connection enthralled me, their dynamic is charged in electricity!

“I’m leaving. I guess you’ll be back later to take more of what doesn’t belong to you?”

They share a special bond from the very beginning, an obvious complicity, in spite of the menaces and their tumultuous relationship. The  mysteries and secrets surrounding their families slowly unveil a sad and tragic past.

"Right and wrong, like luck, are a matter of perspective."

The question is: How much do you know your closest ones?

Dark, dirty and delicious is what comes to mind when I think of Descent. This book consumed my mind, my heart and lets be real... my fantasies. Once I started reading this, it was impossible for me to stop. I devoured it.

Persephone Abbot life is about to be turned upside down. It slowly started going downhill from the time she was fifteen when a tragic incident occurred and an enemy was created within Hayden Montgomery. He holds Percy's father accountable and will do anything and everything in his power to take his revenge and rip everything away from the Abbots. And he has his eyes set on Persephone. She is innocent but she is now collateral damage. Persephone will do anything to save the Abbot legacy and if it means signing away he body and soul to the devil, then that's the price she has to pay. Hades is at her doorstop and she now belongs to him.

Percy was strong and resilient but when faced with Hades and all his glory, she became putty in his hands. Even if she did try to resist, her body belongs to him-to do with as he pleases. She was also stubborn, protective and determined. The Abbots legacy lies on her shoulder and she would do anything to protect and help her father. Hades was such a cruel jerk-a cruel beautiful jerk- and I really wanted to hate him. I did hate in a couple of scenes but he was also sweet (in his own cruel way) and gentle towards Percy. Although his main motive was to take away everything from the Abbots, he was also very protective over her. she belonged to him and only him.

What I would have liked to see in this book is Percy's role in Abbot Enterprises. It was discussed that she has a job there but not what she does. Although I loved this book, I found it too short. The ending felt a bit rushed to me. I would have liked to see more of Percy and Hades relationship after they admitted their feelings towards each other.

Having said that.... What's next Natasha Knight?

This was not what i expected to be honest.

I love Natasha Knight, i'm a big fan of her's so reading her books is always an amazing experience. However, Descent was not it for me. I don't know what it was but it felt lacking. it didn't make me breathless like her books usually do. i don't know what to expect with her so its always a surprise. Whenever i read her books i'm always at the edge of my seat, but this one did not have that effect on me.
Nevertheless, it was nice and i kinda enjoyed it.

This book is a standalone enemies to lovers dark romance, full of suspense, twists and surprises.

Persephone Abbots (Percy) Lived next door to her father’s business rival The Montgomery’s. She became best friends with Nora Montgomery but when she was 16 a tragic event happens that scars both families forever. Hayden Montgomery (Hades), Nora's brother is determined to seek revenge on her behalf, he wants take everything from Quincy Abbott, including his daughter Percy. The more he takes the more secrets and betrayal he uncovers, leaving so many unanswered questions.
Persephone holds the answers he needs, but is missing an important piece of the puzzle. What price is she willing to pay to hold onto her family business and keep Nora's secrets buried.

Hayden is the perfect broody alpha male, despite his hardness I loved him. Persephone took a little time before I could warm to her, she is very impetuous. Together they are intense but I wouldn’t say passionate, that didn’t happen till the very end. Which brings me to my next point, I didn’t feel the strong connection between the characters like would normally with Natasha's story’s, it felt a little rushed towards the end, I would have loved to read more of Hades and Persephone coming together. In saying that though I still really enjoyed the book, the plot was cleverly planned out and well written, I just wanted more passion, more flame from the main characters so I give it 4 stars.

GAH!! What can I say about a Natasha Knight story that I haven't already said before? Her writing is dark and edgy and always provocative. She consistently writes delicious mafia stories that stay and resonate with you. Her characters are always real and raw and her stories gripping. Descent was another magnificent story Knight can proudly add to her dark mafia offerings as Hayden "Hades" Montgomery and Persephone "Percy"  Abbot were nothing short of outstanding. This story was sexy, shocking and full of unexpected twists and secrets that blew my mind.

There is nothing I love to read more than the mafia genre. But Knight's stories feel like something more. She is a leader in her field who always delivers uber alpha antiheroes and the women who bring them to their knees. Overall, I loved the story, history and connection between Hayden and Percy, seeing a few familiar faces and how the author brilliantly used Greek mythology and the story of Hades and Persephone as a comparison to their relationship. This story was brilliant and just another reason why Knight is one of my favorite authors. 5 amazing stars! ~Ratula

#MUSTREAD
So here we are:
1- Natasha Knigh is a fucking genius
2- I want Ares' story
3- Hades vs Dominic 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
4- I LOVE DOMINIC. Period.
Now, I've to say that the fact the story was inspired by the myth of Persephone had already excited me ( how could it not?! I'm from Sicily after all and i love Greek mythology ).
The story captures your attention from the first page: many secrets, revenge, hatred, passion and love are the ingredients that make it wonderful.
Persephone & Hayden are complex characters: one guided by the desire to protect her father, the other by revenge. But at the end they love each other, always did.
What i like most about Natasha' madmen Is that they don't change because they fall in love; they are dark, dangerous but they would set the world on fire for their women🖤
Descent goes right into my Top 3 of Natasha Knight's book, after Dominic and Twisted.

Fuck it, 5⭐. I was going with 4, but that ending just hit me in the feels, I felt the love, and it wrapped up very satisfyingly.

I appreciated that there was a reference to the myth of Persephone and Hades, but this wasn't trying to be a retelling. There's a dark and mysterious history between the two MCs families and that was the primary driver of this story. It definitely resulted in a decent amount of angst which I really enjoyed as well.

A very well done SA story that I can see myself returning to in the future. Definitely recommend giving this a read.

Tropes : mafia romance, J/P H, touch her and 💀, forced proximity, friends-enemies-to lovers, dark romance
Ending : HFN (married)
Triggers : murder, violence, gore, blackmail, mention of child abuse, mention of SA, pedophilia(h’s dad), 💀 of loved one, s@icide
Spice : 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️ /5
Angst : 🔥 🔥 🔥 /5
OM/OW drama : OM (h’s friend)
Intimacy details : virgin h, rough sex, no condom, oral
Standalone / Series : part of an interconnected series but technically a duet

Hero : Hayden ‘Hades’ Montgomery (25)
Heroine : Persephone Abbot (21)

This one was darker than my usual read nowadays. The dad that had sex with underaged girl which was Percy’s friend and Hades’ step sis. Then his step bro that was albeit had no blood relation with the girl had sex with her too and she was pregnant when she took her life years before the book was set.

It was heavier that the usual mafia dark romance that I read in terms of the more relatable topics in day to day life.

Hayden was crueler than the usual hero I read in the past 2 years. I read crueler heroes back in the day but nowadays the hero that supposed to be hardass was kinda tame when it comes to their heroines so it was quite a refreshing reprieve from ‘tame’ books that I’ve been reading lately lol.

Overall an okay book. Would love to see kids or at least pregnancy in the prologue but oh well beggars can’t be choosers.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date January 20 2020

Persephone Abbot is in my debt.
Exactly the way I want it.

The sins of the father should not be inherited by the daughter. It’s unfair, I know, but since when has life been fair?

The events that brought us here began on Halloween night more than five years ago in that chapel ruin. I saved her that night. Carried her home through the storm that was the omen warning of what would come.

I didn’t know it then, but I do now.

Her father destroyed something precious. Someone innocent.
I don’t believe in an eye for an eye. I won’t just balance the scales of justice, I’ll tip them so far in my favor his legacy will topple.

I’ll take that which is most precious. His daughter. I’ll own her. Make her mine.

But I’m not the only monster lurking in the dark corners of her world. She’ll sleep in the bed of the beast but I’ll keep her safe. Protect her fiercely.

And maybe I'll keep her.

••••••••

REVIEW: DESCENT by Natasha Knight is the second instalment in the author’s adult, contemporary, dark, erotic romance series set in the Benedetti Brothers Mafia World. This is businessman Hayden Montgomery, and Persephone Abbot’s story line. DESCENT can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. You do not have to have read the previous series to follow the story or timeline.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line content, there may be some triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Hayden and Persephone) DESCENT follows in the aftermath of an accident that left Persephone’s father clinging to life. With the family business and empire crumbling and nearing foreclosure Persephone’s only option to sign over control to the enemy, a man who is hoping to destroy what’s left of the Abbot empire. Enter businessman Hayden Montgomery, and the man with whom Persephone will fall in love. What ensues is the building but acrimonious relationship between Persephone and Hayden, and the potential fall-out as sins of the past threaten to destroy them all.

Persephone Abbot never knew to what extent her father had failed but a vendetta against her family finds our heroine facing a life of indentured servitude to a man who is seeking revenge- a debt owed with her life and her self-esteem; a humiliation that would continue for as long as Hayden wanted. Childhood friends with the Montgomery siblings, Persephone would be destroyed when death would take one of their own.

Hayden Montgomery not only wants vengeance but he will take everything including our story line heroine in an effort to get what he wants, and done. Believing Persephone’s father betrayed the family, Hayden seeks revenge by destroying the one person that mattered –Persephone herself.

The relationship between Hayden and Persephone is a contemptuous at best; a forced enemies to lovers relationship in an effort to take control of what was, and what will never be. Every aspect of Persephone’s life will be controlled by a man determined to get revenge, control that pushes the boundaries of questionable consent, and forcible $ex. The $ex scenes are aggressive and rough but I struggled with the use of a certain four-letter word in my ‘romance’ story lines.

We are introduced to Persephone’s younger sister Lizzie and their father Quincy Abbot and their step-mother Irina; Hayden’s twin brother Ares, and their brother Jonas, as well as their father Jeremiah Montgomery. There is a cameo appearance by Dominic Benedetti, his wife Gia, and mobster Angus Scave.

DESCENT is a story of fracture family dynamics; of secrets and lies; unforgiveable sins and retribution. The premise is dark and gritty; the characters are edgy, tragic and broken; the romance is questionable but passionate.

description

Set in the world of the Benedetti's comes a new dark stand-alone. You do not have to have read any of the Benedetti brother's books to enjoy this one, but I did and I loved the cameo made by the mafia boss himself.

This book is about Hayden aka Hades and Persephone. They knew each other when they were younger but it has been years since Hayden has been home. Since he left their worlds have imploded. Persephone's father is in a coma, Hayden's sister is dead and the house is in ruins. But Hades is back to claim what is his.

Dark and sexy with twists and turns that were completely unexpected. Hades tries to put the pieces together but he needs Persephone more that he realizes and Persephone isn't quite sure if she should trust her heart. Each carries secrets and pieces to the puzzle, they just need to put them together, no matter the cost. Their relationship was very much like fire and ice and their souls were condemned, likely since they were younger. While much of the outside story is wrapped up there was a twin brother...just sayin'. And this dark-demon-like element that was only just touched on.

I have enjoyed this dark and dangerous world for some time and any time it gets revisited I am all in.

This one is a mash up of second chance, mafia, and arrangement for sex. Throw in a little mythology and some flawed characters and readers are sure to find something to draw them in.

As always, Natasha has delivered a well written, nicely paced and interesting book. The woman has talent in spades. Anytime I pick up one of her books, I know I'm in for a ride. And while I really enjoyed Descent, this time, the ride seemed a bit smooth and lacking some of the more exciting twists and turns I've come to expect. It was still well worth the read and I look forward to whatever comes next.

What an amazing story ! The writing and characters totally made the book for me. Hayden and Persephone have my heart. Their chemistry was off the charts!! I couldn't get enough of them.
The book is fast paced, it takes you through a lot of twists and turns and it is exactly what I needed to pull me out of my book slump!!! I recommend it. An excellent enemies to lovers book. Do not miss it.

Descent is a contemporary dark romance written by author Natasha Knight and I liked it, but I have to say it's not her favorite book of hers.

The story is dark, catchy, addictive and very well written. The characters are intriguing and each page wanted to understand the reason behind Hades's actions.Persephone is a strong, brave character who despite being in a difficult situation has never bowed her head to Hades. Hades is a character that I found mysterious and little by little I was able to unravel his actions. My problem here was with the couple, while I saw incredible chemistry and attraction between them, I saw nothing beyond this.

Although the romance left something to be desired the story was very well written and its surprises along the way were enough to keep me entertained until the end.

"I want to steal you. Hide you. Keep you."

.
Comunque ne consiglio la lettura soprattutto alle estimatrici del genere e a chi cerca una storia intrigante e oscura come l'inferno.

🌷Persephone’s father suffers a tragic accident, leaving her in control of his business empire. However, Persephone soon discovers all is not as it seems with the company accounts and her family isn’t so financially stable after all.
.
.
🦈Hayden Montgomery has always had an obsession with Persephone, his younger sister’s best friend, but he was not a fan of her father. When the opportunity arises to have her in his control, he pounced right away and offers her a deal he knows she’s in no position to refuse.
.
.
🐅This novel has a good pace, good characters, a good story. I did enjoy reading it but for me there was just something missing. I didn’t love either lead character if I’m honest so I just wasn’t fully invested in the outcome. Another slight pet peeve I had was that Persephone inherits the company and is so adamant about keeping her job there when Hayden takes over, but there wasn’t a single scene where she conducts any kind of business or does any work. I don’t think she goes to an office once? All she seems to do is drive to Hayden’s restaurant every day to shout at him and pick fights she knows she can’t win.

I love reading a Natasha Knight book. I know I will get a suspenseful, page-turning and somewhat dark read. This is no different and I was pulled in by the mystery and by the darkness and secrets that veiled all of the characters.

There are secrets, lies and cover ups that surround one tragic incident from everyone’s past.

This was a fast read that I eagerly read in one sitting.

I wanted more from this story though. I wanted to know more about Haden’s sister. What were her motives? Why did she do what she did? What were Persephone’s dad’s motives? That, for me, is a big part and left major questions making this story feel a little unfinished.

Haden is broody, dark and full of anger. He has come back to take vengeance on Persephone’s dad. But, since her father is incapacitated, Haden will take everything her father owns, including Persephone.

The whole story is cloaked in a dark and somber tone. It definetly sets the proper setting and feel for the story unfolding.

Haden has a powerful, demanding and commanding presence. It follows him throughout the book and his interludes with Persephone.

Another thing I noticed is that we didn’t dig much into the characters and who they were.

Regardless, this was one entertaining, page-turning read

Dark Romance (mafia setting)
Enemies to lovers-revenge driven-“business”deal
Standalone
First person, Double POV
HEA? Yes

Descent is a short retelling of Hades and Persephone Myth. I love Natasha Knight and, as always, her writing style was wonderful. The plot was interesting but I have to say..descent follows the same line as all the other NK books..after reading 5/6 books with the same trope I would have liked something different and refreshing. This novel was too short with a rushed end and there were a lot of plot holes which leave me with a lot of questions, especially regarding Nora and what really happened on Halloween 5 years earlier. Percy and Hayden have a good chemistry (the sex scenes are really hot) but their romance wasn't epic: I wanted more groveling and a major built-up of their relationship. Descent has dark vibes but I wouldn't call it a dark Romance.. it's certainly the lightest story of Natasha I have read so far.

In conclusion:
Did I liked it?
Yes but
- I didn't found it memorable
- there were some flaws
Will I reread it? No
Will I recommend it? Honestly No. NK has written better stories with the same trope.

Absolutely head over heels in love with this book. Wow. Each book Natasha writes gets better and better. I loved the angst between Hayden and Persephone. The push and pull and how they gave as hard as they got...MAN. AND THE SEX. The sex scenes were so hot.
Hades (Hayden) was just MAGNIFICENT. He was perfection wrapped up in a bow. And Percy (Persephone) was fierce and not a scared little mouse like you see in some books. She was made just for him I swear. There were so many twists and turns. I couldnt stop reading once I started. I am going to buy the paperback RIGHT NOW. This was an instant 5 stars for me. I really hope the little sister Lizzie gets a book. I also like how the mafia guys were woven in there. So so good!

Absolutely could not put this book down! This book was full of angst-yet burning hot with so much chemistry between the two characters my kindle practically combusted. There was a lot going on-the dynamic was so elaborate and addicting, it’s easy to see why This authors books are unputdownable.
There are a lot of moving pieces of this story-and a lot gets revealed at the end. The whole book is woven so perfectly together, that I was practically on the edge of my seat the whole time. Emotions ran high-there’s some triggers for some people certainly, but this author handled them with such finesse that it truly is one of my top reads for 2020. Although the year just started, it’s safe to say no one writes quite like Natasha Knight.

I can’t say how much I ADORED this book. Hayden and Persephone are EVERYTHING. It was dirty and hot as hell with a brilliant, captivating plot and all the mafia goodness I love from Natasha Knight.

Descent gets all the stars from me!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 and more!

All I can say is that I want more from this legendary couple. I did not want this book to end. EVER.

Hayden is ever the alpha a-hole with so many depths, some hidden others apparent. Persephone is a strong, resilient heroine that has as much pull as her male counterpart.

The Greek mythology undertones are clever and served to make me love this story even more.

Honestly, Natasha has lived up to her dark, intelligible and sexy storytelling once again.

Descent will be a top read of 2020 for me.

I guess plenty of women "fall in love" with their abuser, nothing new here. That's what this book is really about. Repeated dubious content and forced sexual acts meaning to demean the female repeatedly. But ofcourse sold in three pretty package as "mafia romance". I have no words for this despicable piece of writing, nor will I ever ready anything else by this author. I really kept on waiting for it to get better, it didn't.

PHENOMENAL! Holy twists and turns Batman! Another epic, suspenseful story crafted and woven so brilliantly by this fantastic Author. No one does dark and suspenseful like Natasha Knight! I absolutely loved this story and the possessive alpha! Looking forward to the next brilliant work Ms. Knight crafts for her readers.

I love Hades and Persephone's story. It is dark and sexy with a little twist. I hated Hades in the beginning but soon learned to love him. These two are made for each other, they just have to realize it. Well written. I did not want it to end.
