The beginning of this book was a bit confusing as it didn't really follow on directly from the end of book 1 in the series. At first, I thought I had accidentally started reading book 3. This is because the story has moved on a few months and there is a deeper relationship between Kati and Iain in that they are out in public together. Also, there was a distinct lack of research in one part of the book where it was suggested that tourists had come to York to see Hadrian's Wall! Hadrian's Wall is about 100mls from York so this is definitely wrong. They possibly come to see the York city wall which is totally different. Other than that, the book was a reasonable continuation of the series with a good mixture of action and romance.

Oh, man. This second book was even better than the first! It was a well paced read with steam, action, romance, adventure and even some betrayal. It was easy to relate to Kati, the other characters, and the situations that they faced. Some of the twists that were thrown at us were unpredictable and even the new love interest surprised me. I thought I had it figured out from the last book but I was dead wrong. I think this is going to make the next book even more interesting as their relationship develops, especially after that cliffhanger at the end of the book! Very excited to see how this story continues in the next book!

This book is so f'ing good, better than the first one!!!... Katriona and Iain are such wonderful MC, as well as her roomates, who always have her back 🤗 #friendshipsgoals... The evil lady is forging her way back to our world, leaving a trail of havoc, while Kati is trying to master her powers, dealing with a broken heart, a new familiar and attraction feelings toward a rough, hot, 2nd year boy and maybe toward a certain classmate too 💔😢😲🙈... Can't wait for the next book, need to know what will happen!!! 😍💖

Soul Wraiths are popping up and causing trouble all over the Second Breath Academy in book 2 in this series. Kati (FMC) finds out more about Iain & she finds an unexpected teacher in Salazar. Not someone who she gets on with but they certainly knows how to flirt with each other. Comedy relief comes in the form of familiar Dolly the Pug. Her one liners made me laugh and i love her as a character. This series keeps getting better and better. Im totally enjoying reading it

Another great read, can the series get better... I’d say So by the looks of it ! I am enjoying this series so much and it’s only book 2 I hope book 3 is soon and that there is plenty more. Can’t stop reading but as always life and kids get in the way. Wow where to begin I can’t! Chen wasn’t expecting that! And Iain ! , this book had you on edge wondering what would happen next loving it and ending mike it did... well damn ! I’ll have to wait for next book ...Great read!!

Book two just got better and better as I read on. Kati is an amazing and strong female and I absolutely adored her. The plot is a slow burn but it feels like we get to see the best of each scene and not miss any of the developments. I was completely encompassed in the story and I cannot wait for more. It's interesting, engaging and so original that you will love this if you enjoy paranormal academy books! Beautifully written and we'll designed in all its elements!

This is a great read that will grab you from the beginning. It moves along at the perfect speed which is neither too fast nor to slow. The characters seem so real that you feel as though you know them personally and you want to be there for them. The story is amazing and you feel as though you are there with them throughout. This is a must read, no doubt about it.

Amazing! Absolutely loved it! This book was full of adventure, epic battles and twists and turns! This is a rollercoaster of a book I will ride on over and over again. Not only does it keep your heart racing and leaves you holding your breath with each page but it also blows your mind with an outrageously well placed cliffhanger! It’s one of those books that leaves you feeling for the next book.

Wow! I loved this book so much. Whilst the romance is slow the plots is fast. I can’t believe all the twists that happen, especially the ending. My god that ending was spectacular and was definitely something I didn’t see coming. I guessed one thing from the first book, but was surprised about so many other things. For the romance I think it will be interesting to see how things develop with her female love interest. Overall, it was a brilliant read and I really can’t wait to see what happens next.

Kati (FMC) has some revelations to deal with in both her romantic and personal life. The writing continues to be good and all in all a great sequel. I can’t wait to read book 3.

Good book

This was a good but but I personally think it more PG then adult or only 1 sexy scene so not PG but still I do highly recommend this book if you don't mind that lol. Can't wait to read the next one
