This is a DNF book for me. There is nothing wrong with the story, I just couldn't get into the story, and even after taking a break I couldn't keep hoping with the story.

I love Kelli Callahan's work, so I know it's not their fault, it just wasn't a story that I could get into. I hope this doesn't detract you from reading this story, because Kelli is an amazing author and storyteller.

I totally loved this story. It has all the feels and then some!

Elly (aka Elly-nezer Scrooge) doesn't like Christmas at all. She doesn't care if her coworkers don't like that she isn't decorating or if her family judges her for not going to Christmas dinner. She says she is happy that she spends the holiday alone. Then her cousin signs her up for a dating app called Secret Santa Romance and gets matched with Ian.

Ian is hot, charming, and seems like the perfect guy, but he wants to convince Elly to go on a date with him and/or change her outlook on Christmas with his corny dad jokes. Elly keeps trying to convince herself to stop talking to him, delete the app and move on with her life, but Ian makes it difficult for her to do that.

This story made me so happy. I really did love Elly and Ian. Their text message conversations cracked me up. Loved the happy ever after. I definitely recommend reading this book.

Elly hasn't like the holidays since her parents divorced and she became baggage in their new lives. So she doesn't like celebrating them yet she goes through the motions at work because its expected. When Starla a relative shows up at her place and puts a app on her phone about finding a Secret Santa she never expected to actually use it. Ian is the CEO of the company that created Secret Santa app and when there is a glitch in the app his fake profile goes live and he is matched to Elly. He messages Elly to tell her about the mistake and they end up talking and connecting to each other. Soon he wants to meet her in person and see if there's something more between them. Will Elly agree to meet Ian? Can Ian convince her to give the holiday another chance?

This is a great holiday story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Ian owns a tech company which has just developed a Secret Santa Romance app and loves everything Christmas.
Elly's a workaholic with no time for Christmas or boyfriends.
Her stepsister sets the app up on Elly's phone at just the same time as a software problem is being beta tested - it matches her with Ian.
He texts to apologise, she replies .. and so the dance begins :)
It's a soft-centered, steamy, Christmas romance with the emphasis on dialogue (and jokes both clean and dirty).
She's a virgin, he's only loved (and lost) one woman - it's only a matter of time!
She wants sex now, he wants to wait and make it special - the heat between them ramps up!
Over the halfway mark I thought it was beginning to flag and then there is a really fine chapter when they visit a hospital to deliver Christmas presents ... it's a turning point in the book and for Elly.
It was a 3 Star for me until the final third of 'Her Secret Santa' - the remainder moved it up to 4 Stars.
P.S. It could have been more tightly edited but, overall, the errors do not really detract.

ONE MERRY ADVENTURE!!!
Bah humbug! Kelli sync's the past, present and future, revving it up and scoping it out, spreading the joy and cheer, wrapping the treasures and stuffing the treats, fusing this baby together piece by piece seamlessly. Weaving a trail of chaos in her wake, skipping past the shenanigans and throwing in the mayhem, letting it loose and watching it run, thrusting this gem into a tailspin with shocking results. Carefully trudging through the trials and tribulations, along with a slew of plot twists and sleek turns, grounding in it's strength and awe inspiring in it's depth. The characters are realistic, intriguing and authentic with depth and qualities that thrusts this bad boy to life flawlessly. The scenes are so vividly detailed and descriptive it gives the illusion you were right there in the middle of ground zero with them. Fantastic job Kelli, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.

This was a sweet book to read with enough steam to make it interesting. Loved the two main characters, Ian and Elly. She's a Christmas scrooge and he embraces all that is the holidays. Ian isn't a manwhore and she is a virgin. That's a good thing. Elly has been damaged from episodes in her childhood due to her parents divorce and she has taken a great dislike for the holidays because of this. Ian, a successful and hot guy, regrets having lost "the love of his life," but has moved on and enjoys the holidays with his family and work associates. His company has developed a new dating app just for the holidays and somehow (could it be fate) Ian gets matched up with Elly - or was it the other way around - and they begin a fun conversation texting back and forth. Eventually they meet up and the reader hopes that Ian can convince Elly that her scrooge-like attitude can change a bit. And the reader also hopes that they can make it through the holidays and have their HEA. Nice quick read that brightens the Christmas season. Enjoy and happy holidays!

This story is so beautiful. Once I got start I couldn't put the book down! The story is amazing, sweet, beautiful and the holidays! Elly is the scrooge of Christmas. She is all about her work. She is beautiful, funny, smart, and dedicated. I love seeing Elly growth throughout the story. It made it so much better to see the characters evolve. Ian is the sweetest man I read! He so patient, caring, funny, and handsome. He the CEO of his own company. When Ian and Elly is match accidental on a app turns into something much more. I love how Kelli wrote about each character and made me think I was in their town with them. The writing was done beautifully and pulls me in. The words flew throughout the story without any errors.I love story so much that I didn't want it to end! Amazing work Kelli Callahan!

I loved that this was more than a holiday book, but one of second chances especially during the best holiday! This book is about Elly and Ian. Elly doesn’t feels like she belongs anywhere and doesn’t like Christmas. Her cousin, Starla, sets her up on a holiday app that is new, hoping to kill the grinch in her and bring the loving Elly with Christmas love. She is matched with Ian, who is the developer of the app, by accident, but once they exchange texts he cannot help himself and continue because he wants to meet her. He Is one that will never bet against holiday spirit. The banter between these two is great and the happily ever after that they get is especially Nice as they both deserve it.

What you what you get the millionaire man that has everything? You get in the greatest Christmas miracle of all... you get him his happily ever after with Elly. Ms. Kelli Callahan has crafted a feel-good holiday romance, with no angst, no drama, only pure love; for all of us romance readers.

This storyline kept me enraptured from the very beginning, all the way through to impeccable, ending. I can ensure that it will you, too. This is a must-read release ASAP.

I loved this! There’s no angst and the romance between Ian and Elly develops so organically that there was no need for them to become intimate until it felt right. The attraction was there but the anticipation made it so much better. There was no drama other than their own struggles and fears. It was nice reading something that didn’t involve someone else playing a role in the relationship and them not giving into their physical attraction until it felt right. I love how part of the story was loosely connected to the Carson Cove series by mention.

This Christmas story was good. I liked it but I think I was looking for more. Kelli did a great job with it. This story is about a girl with a bah humbug Christmas spirit who meets a guy through a dating app who is supposed to help her find it. It was kind of an original concept for sure, I think I was expecting more but definitely worth a read. The story was funny in parts, certainly witty and that girl sure had sass. One book that it's sure to help you find your Christmas spirit, if you should be lacking.

A good christmas story
Elly doesn't like Christmas due to her childhood so when her step cousin signs her up for a secret Santa dating app she is not impressed. But maybe that's the best thing she has ever done. She gets matched with Ian who also didnt sign up to the app. He is the owner who was a test name for when they were running some tests. But these two hit it off straight away.
Their relationship is one of friendship turning into lovers.
Its a lovely Christmas story if honest I wanted a bit more but it is a sweet story

Corny jokes withstanding, I like Ian. He is down to earth and has a big heart, his grandparents are hilarious. Elly has definitely lost the Christmas spirit, somewhat reasonably due to it rekindling emotional issues. Nothing like communication, these two find freedom in it through the app. I really like that they don't rush anything and really take the time to get to know one another. I loved the characters Ian and Elly and how they met by accident. It was sad that Elly had lost the Christmas spirit from her parents divorce when she was younger. Elly and Ian both weren’t looking for a relationship and only concentrated on their careers until they met each other through an app created by Ian’s company. The story was funny, sad and had taught Elly how to believe again in Christmas and relationships with Ian’s help. I love reading Kelli’s book. Can’t wait till the next book comes out.

Ellie doesn’t care for Christmas or anything that involves Christmas. Her parents divorced and she felt like neither parent really wanted her. But her relative signs her up for Secret Santa Dating app and before she can stop her gets a message from a hottie named Ian. Can she let go of the past and be able to have her dream man that fits all the boxes or will she let baggage get in the way? Great romantic comedy!

They don't appear to have that mush in common he loves Christmas and he hates it so why can't they stop texting one another. Beautiful love story.
Oh my word I loved this story & couldn't put it down. I couldn't get enough of Elly & Ian theway they traded messages on the 'Secret Santa' app was so funny then when they met in person their chemistry was even better.
