Rate this book
A moving, magical story that manages to be captivating and entertaining while also explaining some of life’s greatest mysteries.

Ted Brewster is in a rut. In fact, he's been in a rut for twenty-two years, a regular guy living a regular nine-to-five life. Then one day his safe, secure world is turned upside down when a wise stranger arrives out of nowhere, determined to teach him the important lessons of life. Together, they embark on an epic voyage of discovery that reveals to Ted a timeless recipe for peace of mind, abundance, joy, and wholeness.

“If ever, in your darker, more introspective moments, you find yourself seeking proof of some kind of divine order, I would sincerely urge you to look up. There it is, right there - the beating heart of creation. The connective tissue of divine intelligence, made manifest on an epic scale - in each particle, each rock, and each one of a trillion stars. None of it haphazard. None of it random. Everything planted in place with mind-boggling precision, effortlessly perfect, incomprehensibly vast, impossibly boundless. Yet this awesome universe that’s before you is also inside of you. The essence of everything out there is found in here as well. As without, so within.”

“Cash Peters captures huge important truths in a simple yet profound and humbly humorous style. ...[F]ood for the soul for anyone seeking to make sense of his or her life. Great wisdom lives here. Read it and remember why you and your life are indeed important.” — Alan Cohen, author, A Deep Breath of Life

Is captivating too sappy a description?

Unputdownable. Thought provoking in every way. Funny, unpredictable, sobering and heart felt
A real little treasure that I'm sure I'll want to read again often. I need to remind myself of this wisdom.

This man can write. I was captivated the whole way through. The story reminded me in some ways of the classic movie " It's a Wonderful Life." yet so much deeper. I was riveted , validated and enlightened.
