When she’s not writing, speaking, or out changing the world, you’ll find Monica practicing yoga, snuggling her rescue dogs, and spending time with her family. Monica believes we each have a duty to leave the world a little better than we found it.
This book takes a complicated topic and explains in simple and clear language why different groups think and process differently. The author provides actionable tools and examples of how those tools can help to bring us back together on more common ground. A must-read for changemakers and those looking to make a change in our world, or those looking to reconnect with friends and family members around the dining table.
This book does a good job at explaining why groups of people have such diametrically opposed views - they see the world at a different level. Neither are wrong. This was my first time reading about Spiral Dynamics, and it made a lot of sense to me. Worth a reread.
Emergent cyclical double helix model of adult biopsychosocial development is a five star theory. This book does a good job of explaining it in basic and understandable terms. Although I feel I agree with the message sometimes it just feels a little like a sales pitch at times
This book is the third I have read on Spiral Dynamics. This is an absolute game changer for anyone that wants to think systematically about human growth and societal change.
