Emmy Ellis is the master of getting the reader to feel sympathy for her killers, they’re all damaged beyond words.
Mike is no exception, he’s fixated on riding the world of his mother, over and over again. This is a creepy tale of a misunderstood man Keen on revenging his abusive upbringing.
Another wonderful read from the queen of crime.

Wonderfully paced and exciting episode of this
brilliant series. So nice to have police with feelings. A much different attitude to qhat we expect from.law enforcement.beautifully written.

Another awesome read from Emmy Ellis, If you have not read anything by this author... Where have you been.

Emmy Ellis has done a great job with this story.
I love a detective story.
Tracey Collier and her partner, are on their way to a house, that has its front door open.
The next door neighbour is really worried. It’s not normal for the door to be open.
They talk across their back gardens, as a rule.
Before long, we hear of a death. Blood everywhere!
As readers, we get to follow the murderer.
I felt really sad for somebody that could do this.
As always, the cops will eventually find out what’s happening.
Think this is my favourite by this author.

If you love crime books you will live this book. If not this book may not be right for you due to the subject content.
As with the previous book this instalment is against based around a childhood game turned dark.
We see childhood abuse and how that can impact on lives as adults. The crime scenes are described very vividly allowing us to see inside the head of the killer.
This is written in the way her other books are where we read about the past and present.-

What a story! I couldn't turn the pages fast enough.
A compelling story which delves into a dreadful past leading to an unstable future. The outstanding writing showed how well researched the characters were and it resulted in a whole host of emotions.

Brilliant
Have read many books about killers and this was one of the best. It's the first I've read by Emmy Ellis. Will definitely look for more of her books. I would recommend this book to any one who enjoys reading about murder.
