This short story was a let down for me. When I read a short book, I expect an insta- love relationship... but in this particular story, it really didn’t work. It felt rushed and there was no development at all between the main characters. They basically went from meeting to all of a sudden realizing they loved each other. There was no emotional sharing or history sharing to be seen. I do need some of that to make it a little more believable!
On the whole, I didn’t feel any kind of emotional attachment to these characters. Oh well, I can’t love them all!

This was a super quick insta-love, holiday romance. There was some smutty steam, cuddly pets, a woman on the run and a hunk of a lumberjack.
It was instant attraction and immediate feelings. Was it over the top and a bit cheesy?? Yes, but it was just what I needed to read on this stormy day 😆
Throw in a bit of Christmas cheer and my heart was happy.

Short and sweet but it delivers!

I reached for this book because I was in the mood for a short holiday read. The cover is absolutely gorgeous and promised me a snowy romance where I imaged the couple cuddled-up on the sofa drinking hot cocoa and exchanging some flirty banter before moving to the bedroom. Unfortunately, that isn't what I got.
The entire storyline to this book was insane. Everything was rushed so that our main couple could immediately start their romantic relationship. The heroine seemed so naïve and too young. Our hero was too alpha and pushy.
I'm not sure that Ella Goode is an author I will be reading from again. I'll will just adore her book covers from afar.

Not my favorite Ella Goode story. It was a little more OTT and gushy than her usual novellas, but Faith's ditzy nature was entertaining. Conn seemed one-dimensional though.

A sexy and engaging holiday romance with a chatterbox innocent h, a grumpy lumberjack H, loads of dirty talk, a pair of adorable dog called Bear and cat called Smittens, witty banter and lovemaking and an adorable HEA.

Conn is like any mountain man he likes his privacy and wants to be alone with his dog bear, when he sees a girl parked infront of his house being very cute and bubbly and wonder if shes crazy. Faith just wants to be alone with her car smittens since her bf who she doesn't really care for cheats on her with her bitchy annoying step sister. Mixing up the address for a cabin she meets Conn and shes already being alittle bossy since she has to pee really badly lol.
These two are funny and totally polar opposite like their animals but they fit just right together. Faith teaches Conn about being around ppls again and the spirit of Christmas and Conn teaches her about being loved. We do get some drama but its nothing these two can't handle..
Also who is this King guy.

I think I went into this book thinking it was something else and so I was thrown off. This is very much an insta love type of book. As in I met you Christmas Eve afternoon and I'm telling you I'm in love with you before Christams day. I don't mind instant attraction but this was pushing the limits even for me. There is not much of a plot which honestly I don't mind sometimes. Every now and then you just want a quick steamy read. However to me there wasn't much steam here and it wasn't that good. I've never read this author and this potentially could be a spin off from her other books so maybe I'm missing something...?

Mí humilde opinión:
Conn disfruta de su vida de ermitaño, prefiere la tranquilidad de su cabaña en el bosque.
Entonces encuentra a Faith frente a su casa. Ella es una bola de energía que entró a su vida sin ser invitada para quedarse.
Debería echarla, no le gusta la navidad pero mirándola con su sweater con luces luciendo adorable no desea más que que mantenerla para siempre.
Por ella la Navidad tiene sentido ahora.
La navidad es una de mis festividades favoritas así que leer una historia de estas siempre me ponen una sonrisa tonta en el rostro.
Conn un gruñón que vive solo en el bosque junto con Faith llena de alegría me pareció una pareja navideña ideal.
La química, el humor, la ternura, ellos me parecieron acordes con la historia porque eran opuestos.
Y me gustó que ella hiciera que le guste la navidad.
Una de las partes que más me gustó fue cuando él decora la cabaña con cosas que tiene para hacerla más navideña.
La nieve, la cabaña, el perro, el gato, el árbol... Todo y más cositas ayudaron a ser de esta historia navideña disfrutable.
Los epilogos, dos, gracias EG, fueron preciosos!

Una historia con tematica Navideña que podia haber sido mas entrañable si hubiese tenido un desarrollo mas cuidado, ademas para mi, la autora desaprovecho parte del potencial de la trama.
En lo referente a los protagonistas, no tengo una gran pega, solo que en general no me resultaron memorables ni consiguieron conquistarme con su historia de " amor ".
Para finalizar, Oh Snowy Night no es de las mejores historias de Navidad que he leido, entretiene pero no se vuelve especial.

What a wonderful story. Loved both main characters, Faith was pretty funny and Conn was a grumpy loner but done for after one look at Faith. The things he did for her was so freaking cute.

I had high hopes after reading Ella Goode’s note in another book of hers that Oh Snowy Night was her favorite to write.
None were fulfilled, sadly. I couldn’t connect with the characters and most of the time, it felt like I was being yelled at by people on crack.

Let me start by saying I have a weak spot for OTT insta-love stories where the guys are all “mine” at first sight and they promptly go into smutty impregnation mode. I don’t even mind the innocent-virgin-bubble-head h types that generally grace this type of book.
However, in this instance, Oh Snowy Night was more of a miss for me. Even if Conn was super gruff and growly, he went from “how do I get rid of this chick even though she’s hot AF” to “You’re the love of my life and I will keep you forever” with literally no in-between. One page he didn’t want her, the next he doesn’t want to fuck her but to make love… I mean, I’m all for suspending reality and just going with the flow. I have read and loved tons of Alexa Riley’s such romances, but I just didn’t feel it here.
The fact that it wasn’t even all that raunchy didn’t help matters as I felt it wasn’t really a sweet romance, nor was it pure smut…
In the end, I had some laughs, their pets were cute and I can’t say I totally hated it, but it just wasn’t what I was hoping for. Fortunately, at the time I read this, it was available on KU or I would have been a seriously pissed camper.

Loved this quick Christmas story. Conn and Faith were so cute together. The chemistry and attraction between them was so good. It was fun watching Faith help him get into the Christmas spirit. Loved the double epilogues. If you love OTT insta love then this is the book for you. I highly recommend this quick read that will put you in the holiday spirit.

A perfect, adorable, QUICK Christmas novella.
Was it super realistic? Nah. With a full-on insta-love/lust trope it almost seemed farfetched but I still loved it so much!
Conn is a grumpy non-lumberjack living in a cabin with his trusty husky, Bear, on the outskirts of a small town. He comes home to find a cute little woman and her cat, Smittens, sitting in his driveway. Faith was ADORABLE. I loved her rambling and quirkiness. Even the hilarious dynamics between Smittens and Bear were perfect.
Even though it was quick, it was so romantic and filled with Christmas cheer. Conn and his grumpy, alpha self just melted my heart. His reaction to Faith was both emotional and addictive to read about. Add a little bit of angst with Faith's situation and that PERFECT epilogue and this one solidifies itself on my annual reread list. I read it in a little over an hour so it's a great escape for just a little bit.

Oh Snowy Night by Ella Goode is full of fluff and adorableness. This is a short story that is perfect to read before bed. If you're looking to read a holiday romance to lift your mood then, this is the book for you. Faith, accidentally, stops by Conn's house because of a certain need. When Conn comes home from his trip to town, he finds Faith's car on his doorway. This little strange girl ruffled his feathers in the most unexpected ways. She and her cat, Smitten brought him down to his knees and there's no limit as to what he won't do for this girl.
Faith, our heroine, is quirky and has high spirits. She is very straightforward, innocent, and always speaks her mind. She's little but fierce. I swear this girl is funny beyond belief. Meanwhile, Conn is her exact opposite. He's the tall, strong, silent type. He doesn't talk much and his mind is very dirty when it comes to Faith. Their instant romance is entertaining to read. Although it is to be expected for a book of this kind. Overall, it is a very delightful read.

Conn se fue a vivir a las montañas hace 5 años. No le gusta la interacción social, realmente es torpe en ello así que cuando vuelve a casa y se encuentra un coche en su propiedad no está precisamente contento. Pero entonces encuentra a Faith, una mujer que no deja de parlotear, que lo vuelve loco y aún así sabe que ahora que la ha visto, es suya para siempre.
Me ha encantadoooo!!!! Como todo lo de esta autora por supuesto pero el inicio me ha fallado. No se, no ha tenido ese momento de convicción de que es suya inmediatamente después de verla. Me ha faltado en el capítulo desde el punto de vista de él, y siendo que estoy acostumbrada a esto en los libros de esta autora se me ha hecho raro. Que luego más adelante sucede pero ha sido extraño que tardase tanto dado que siempre suele seguir el mismo esquema.
Por lo demás obviamente es la historia perfecta: corta, poco drama y final muy feliz!!!!!!

So, this was my first Ella Goode book and I gotta admit I bought it because of its beautiful cover even though I've heard mixed things about her books... and after getting 43% into this, I just can't continue. I didn't even get to the good part, I literally stopped at the start of the first sex scene so that should tell you something. The writing was so awkward that I just can't. So sad because the cover is so pretty.
But I'm also glad though, I just read a quote from here in one of the reviews and I'm so happy I stopped because the whole "put my seed in you" and wanting to impregnate and shit is like the biggest turn off for me *ugh*

You portrayed Faith in that way? Straight from the first word out of her mouth it was painful how awful it was. There's air head, ditzy or just plain ignorant of social interaction but to add all 3 was brutal. I felt second hand embarrassment for the character portrayal of this one.

Super cute, steamy and sweet story! It was an over the top insta-love story line, but the characters were so likeable and hilarious and it was such fun to read, absolutely loved it!

Trying to be cute but ended up just being frustrating. Nobody spoke in full sentences to explain themselves because they had already had a full conversation with themselves in their heads. So, lots of miscommunication and confusion instead of actually telling a story. And h's can be cute and quirky without being stupid, which isn't so much the case here.
