My Little Panda Girl

My Little Panda Girl is the prequel to How I Met My Mommy where we see things from Maria's point of view for a change! This book starts many months before the events of How I Met My Mommy and includes Maria's view through the series up until the beginning of My Life as Her Good Girl. You really get to know Maria as a person, as a Domme, and you finally get a little history about her motivations.

My Little Panda Girl (Life with Chrissy Book 4) by Calliope St. James: In book 4 we step out of Chrissy’s voice and into Maria’s. In reading, I see two women a Mommy Domme, Mistress, and girlfriend. She is struggling to be a great mommy. I get the sense she is conflicted by the outside world, her fear of failure, time pressure, inexperience, and the unconditional love from Chrissy. More often than not I see Maria making poor choices and being scattered rather than having an absolute family plan. I also see That Chrissy takes the second place seat behind anything that comes up in Maria’s life. The one saving grace for her and the relationship is Chrissy loves her unconditionally. I also see Chrissy trying to find her footing in this relationship. She is trying to be a partner, girlfriend, and little girl and has not been provided with sufficient maps. So she flounders much of the time. The pair does not lack sex. WOW. What they do lack is conversation and direction.
There are many great points made about living life as a lesbian, mommy Domme. Chrissy is not a full-time little she cycles and fades in and out. Much of the time she is a little. During her woman moments talking should be done. But their sex drives prevent this and it is frustrating.
Maria and Chrissy are apart far too much, no one works that much. I had the feeling getting together was more of an inconvenience rather than a celebration. Maria is always going to do better and fix this and that. She never managed to fix anything. I grew tired of Maria feeling sorry for herself when she sabotaged herself.
My real issue with this book was the number of chapters spent on Maria’s family. It is good to see where Maria came from and how she is Maria. It is too much when I could skip chapters and not lose a step in the main story. I can only give this one 2 stars. I love the characters and will read the next book in the series.

I loved it. Favorite. 5 stars. Amazing.
Maria's mind is as intriguing as Chrissy's. She has flaws; baggage, insecurities, doubt, and so on. Her job, her family, her ex... they all really add to this image of a life that's full steam ahead whilst desperately trying to fit the fantasy of a life with Chrissy in. And then the subsequent crash of fantasy with real life and the shortcomings, workarounds, and moments of sadness and happiness and longing and...
It's just really good, that's what I'm trying to say.
It's not age-play or BDSM or kink or lesbianism that drives the book. If I had zero interest in any of that I'd still think it was an amazingly well-written book with a captivating story. I mean, there's a bit of a mystery crime plot going on!
Maria is just a really interesting character who has a lot going on in her life and is trying - and struggling - to juggle a lot of balls at the same time, much to the enjoyment of the reader.
Now that I'm stuck waiting for the 5th book I'll have to read the series again. And that's great. The books can easily be re-read multiple times I think.
By far the best age-play driven story I've ever read. And I've read a few. It's miles better than any other books out there. Both in terms of quality and quantity it's just so much more.
Can't wait for the next book to come out.

This series was recommended to me and I must say, I’m very glad it was. I find the series both informative and erotic. I enjoy taking a journey with characters that are vulnerable and believable and getting lost their development. I find the MDlg dynamic very intriguing and I think the author, through this couple’s journey, does an excellent job of teaching the readers who—like myself—find the topic fascinating but know very little in terms of details. I am officially a fan of this series and book 4 is my absolute favorite. I am very glad that this series will have another installment. I cannot wait to read it. Well done!

Delightful and quite well-written F/F MDLG story. It is somewhat cerebral but nevertheless very sensual and engaging. Be sure to read all the Life With Chrissy books by this author. You will not be disappointed. XOXOXOs to Calliope St. James for creating this wonderful series! My F/F D/s partner and I selected a scenario from each of the stories to act out. Each proved to be very heavenly;)

I adore this series!!!
I have followed this series since it was on Archives of our own. It led me to discovering I am a little. This series has become a big part of my life. I love the world that Chrissy and Maria live in. Please keep writing and I look forward to the next book!
