In times of war, soldiers on the front lines must show their bravery. But acts of courage by some people aren't known until years after the fighting ends. From flying bombing missions in the dead of night, to tricking the enemy with fake encampments and unbreakable codes, to surviving horrific treatment by the enemy through sheer force of will, these incredible true tales will show how courage in war is often displayed by history's unsung heroes.
I read this book somewhere in 2025, I just don’t remember when 😁 Anyway, this is a graphic novel/ comic book about some things that happened during WW11 that you may not have heard of. It’s a great resource for a classroom ( or homeschool setting.) but it’s great to be read by anyone! The illustration was done well, and there is even a glossary in the back for words you read and may not know. As a history lover, I enjoyed this book!
I enjoyed reading these stories with my 7 year old boy, Cary. We really enjoyed the bravery of the men and the wonderful pictures kept us engaged in the story.
