Cat and Cat are back for their third adventure. This time Dad becomes serious about a woman and the adventures take off. Cat now has a "brother" in her life and Virgil and she bond over their adjustment time as their parents form closer bonds. The humor continues as Sushi rules the new home too. Cazenove pulls readers in with the artwork and the funny adventures.

I think this is the best volume out of the three currently released. The majority of the jokes are funny (the ones at the girlfriend’s expense and Cat feeling ignored are awkward), and the artwork has a snazzy, cartoony style.

There’s even a loose story arc about the father getting a girlfriend. And... THEY FINALLY INCREASED THE FONT SIZE! It’s easy to read as opposed to that awful fine print from before. Thank you, Wilson Ramos Jr., the letterer for this volume. Slight downside: some of the line art feels out of align and out of focus. Maybe from trying to enlarge the original file?

Overall, I enjoyed reading this!

Another fun instalment in the Cat & Cat series, this one centred around Cat's dad getting a girlfriend and the merging of two different families. I like how relatable this was and Sushi's exaggerated yet also somehow realistic were as fun to see as always.

3 stars (I liked it)

This one had a bit more of an overarching storyline than the first two. There are some new recurring characters that add to the fun. I am starting to get slightly annoyed at how much they accommodate Sushi's bad behavior (like I get that it's a comic but still)
