I really like that this volume managed to highlight how Kanna has gone from a little prankster that always wanted the bad kind of attention, to how her being a fun-loving and very helpful little girl. It’s something that I hadn’t properly processed due to Kanna always having such consistent overall behavior, and it’s a really heartwarming observation. I also really liked that this volume had moments where Ilulu was able to interact with Saikawa since their interactions are always very amusing.
My favorite chapters in this volume were the last 2 chapters when Kanna makes a school play inspired by her time with Kobayashi; it was absolutely adorable to see.

Surprisingly funny this time around. The ramen challenge chapter was certainly a highlight but the school play was just as entertaining. Santa Kanna should show up in the main series some time.
