An incredible manga that demonstrates how manga can connect people across generations, regardless of who you are or what your upbringing is. Reading this was a lot of fun for me.

I love the art, especially the way the characters are drawn. Although the backgrounds are frequently filled with a lot of white space and are fairly minimalist, which I understand some people dislike.

This series continues to give me all of the warm fuzzies, even though it deals with some deep topics as any coming of age story would. The sweet friendship truly makes me feel like I am going to end up a puddle of tears by the end of this series. I adore how unconventional their friendship is, but that it is so sweet and fun. Please read this series.

I know this is a low-key, laid-back series, but this volume goes way too far into nothing ever happens territory. The characters are pleasant enough, but they spend most of the book separated, each in their own low-level fret.

There are only two volumes left in the series, so I'm going to stick it out though.

Urara has been reading and loving BL manga years, but it takes a push from her older friend Ichinoi before Urara considers the idea of possibly drawing her own. Can she find the time to write and draw a story around her cram school schedule? This series PERFECTLY captures the BL reader to BL writer pipeline, I'm so charmed.

Wir entfernen uns immer weiter von dem BL-Thema (das war ja abzusehen) und immer weiter in Richtung Zukunftserwartungen. Ich finde Urara wunderbar realistisch gezeichnet - ich kann mich so in sie herein versetzen :3 vorallem, wo sie sich Gedanken um die Zukunft macht und das Problem, das sie auf einer Seite BL zeichnen möchte, auf der anderen Seite aber glaubt, das es doch nichts bringt - das ganze Thema "Was möchte ich, aber wie negativ seh ich mich" etc. passt wunderbar und wird toll dargestellt. Vorallem weil Urara es dann trotzdem versucht - und es wird nicht so einfach dargestellt wie in vielen Mangas/Büchern mit "ich mach mal einfach".

Und ich werd immer nervöser wegen der Oma :D ich mein... sie ist wirklich alt...

"BL Metamorphosis" really is such a peaceful, introspective, and quietly funny series! It’s not flashy or stuffed with excess dialogue in any way; rather, it just lets the reader EXIST in the story alongside the protagonists and I like that. :)

Малко по-трудно се чете тази част, някак действието попада в зоната на здрача. Имам предвид, че чувството, което носи, е малко по... тъжно.

雖然這本不太能算是BL
第四集快點出啊啊啊
漫畫都是作者畫很慢，讀者秒看完
追單行本真痛苦啊啊

看起來這部有影射不少BL作品
只是我看不懂而已~
原來老奶奶是第一次看BL就沉船
之前看介紹還以為是重拾興趣呢
不過老奶奶看BL過激畫面想到跟老伴的感情互動
老伴會不會嚇到從棺材跳出來啊XD
還有我以為BL是大宗興趣，沒想到還是要躲躲藏藏
再次覺得當日本人真辛苦....
揪竟JK主角的青梅竹馬會不會分手呢?
被青梅竹馬搶走天降戀人的作品好像還沒看過耶~~

不過看到目前為止看不出要走溫馨路線還是胃痛路線
第二集老奶奶從自己的壽命看單行本出版頻率
算自己的餘生還能看到幾集，還嗆作者要畫快一點
雖然一時間滿爆笑的，但不免想到後續是不是要胃痛了啊

自從買了電子書閱讀器之後看的漫畫數量爆增
漸漸整理出我喜歡的類型
顯然那種主流少年漫
熱血冒險成長的
木頭肥宅一選多後宮幻想的
都不是我的菜
還是比較喜歡硬科幻，或是純愛小品
類似機動警察的機人也不賴
只要有可以動動腦又不會把迴路燒掉的哲學思想
或細膩的日常感情描寫就會變我心中的神作了

現在看過會仔細描寫日常和感情的
好像就只有少女漫和百合了
難怪AI一直推少女漫給我
BL不知道會不會，但我實在不太想去掉BL的坑XD

不知道有沒有介紹日漫各種目標客群的百科類型中文書啊?
像少年漫，少女漫怎麼細分之類的
印像中好像看過一些，但都不是專門介紹的
所以我說那個百合到底是給誰看的啊?

Still a sweet story, but I didn't understand who the people were in the side stories (except the pages from the manga that the main characters bonded over). I could have gone back and figured it out, but just wasn't invested in any of those characters.

It didn't feel like a lot happened in this volume. The plot doesn't seem to progress and the chapters feel a bit disconnected. I wish the two characters spend more time together.

Una enternecedora evolución y la triste noticia de que pronto terminará

Con la publicación de este tomo me enteré de que saldrá el quinto, y último tomo, en diciembre. Después de haber leído el anterior tomo pensaba que tendríamos más variedad de historias, pero esta hipótesis se fue al garete cuando leí este tomo. Si es verdad que aparecen más personajes, pero no se desarrollan en profundidad.

En cuanto a nuestras protagonistas, quienes siguen esperando actualización de su historia favorita BL, me siguen enterneciendo el corazón con sus conversaciones fluidas y sus escenas caseras.

Uraraka ha descubierto un nuevo hobbie que ya pintaba maneras en el segundo tomo, pero que se acaba afianzando en este. Me ha alegrado verla tan emocionada e inmersa en algo, ya que al principio me parecía un personaje sin rumbo. Y es normal, es una adolescente que no sabe qué hacer con su futuro.

Por lo que, sí, se habla sobre "la gran decisión". Como es habitual, en el instituto te insisten en que averigües qué hacer con tu vida. Se formula fácil, pero es más difícil darle una respuesta.

En cuanto a la señora Ichinoi se planea sus días como pequeños avances y recordando viejos tiempos con su marido y seres queridos. Para ella, el ser profesora siempre ha estado presente, pero llega a preguntarse si quiere seguir haciéndolo.

En líneas generales, este tercer tomo habla del futuro como tal. Cada una de ellas reflexiona sobre lo venidero, sopesando sus ventajas y desventajas. De ahí que me parezca un tomo que nos lleva de la mano, justificando con pequeños momentos el porqué de sus decisiones.

Desde un inicio, "Metamorfosis BL" ha significar salir del cascarón y abrir los ojos al mundo. Cada una de ellas lo hace de una manera diferente, compartiendo sus logros y su gusto por la lectura de manga BL.

Lo único que me queda por decir sobre este tomo es que soy feliz por seguir leyéndolas -a pesar de ser una serie corta-, y por ser participe de sus avances, con los cuales me identifico. Tengo muchas ganas de saber que nos deparará el siguiente tomo.

¿"A cuándo se refieren... cuando hablan de futuro"?

🌸Este tercer tomo nos muestra lo que sucede inmediatamente después de la última viñeta con la que acabó el segundo. Urara ha descubierto una pasión que yacía escondida en lo más profundo de su ser y no tardará en que esta tome control de ella Algo me decía que ella terminaría por dibujar. Esto nos demuestra que somos seres en aprendizaje y que constantemente estamos aprendiendo algo nuevo a medida que evolucionamos.

🌸Urara tiene que decidir sobre su futuro. ¿Qué hacer después de la escuela?, ¿qué estudiar?, ¿qué será de mi vida entonces? Esas son preguntas que la protagonista se hace mientras su solicitud sigue sin rayón alguno. Mientras tanto, Ichinoi cuestiona su vida y si quiere seguirla viviendo así como lo estaba haciendo hasta ese entonces.

🌸Este tomo me llenó de nostalgia y de una sensación inexplicable que se siente cuando sales de tu zona de confort. Urara ha encontrado un pasatiempo que, a la larga, puede convertirse en una profesión; Ichinoi también se está enfrentando a ciertos cambios, a desprenderse de ciertas cosas que, si bien cuesta hacerlo, al final resulta beneficioso.

🌸Se nota un gran avance en la narrativa de la historia. El sentir de los personajes llega mucho más al irse humanizando conforme pasan los capítulos. Es imposible no sentirse identificado con ellos.

🌸El mensaje fue muy claro esta vez. Constantemente estamos rompiendo el cascarón para poder crecer. Una planta a veces necesita cambiar de lugar para crecer mejor.

Volvemos a seguir de cerca la vida de Urara, que está de exámenes, y la señora Ichinoi. Cuando están juntas tienen momentos que me encantan, ya sea compartiendo su afición por el manga en una charla, o realizando actividades caseras, o sufriendo la joven por la anciana y sus achaques, pero cuando están por separado con sus vidas, sigo pensando que falta algo.

Quizá sea esa misma la intención de la autora: remarcar que a las dos les es necesaria esa amistad. Pero no puedo evitar pensar en que la historia debería ir hacia algún sitio más. Al menos Urara ha dado un paso importante para su vida y espero que gracias a la ayuda de la señora Ichinoi todo le salga estupendamente.

Un tomo algo flojito porque aquí las protas casi no interactúan entre ellas, sin embargo, me gusta el tono tan tranquilo que lleva la vida de la señora.

Por otro lado, me gusta ver a la más joven dibujando y pensando en eso como lo que quiere hacer en su vida. Que su mamá esté satisfecha con que ella sea una buena persona me hace pensar en que la apoyará sin importar qué, contrario a su padre.

Siempre entrañable pero quizá el tomo más flojo hasta ahora. Poca interacción entre las protagonistas (mi favorito). Aún así, entiendo que son necesarios tomos de transición para que no se atasque la trama. Seguiré leyendo esta serie , claro.
