INVASION

Rate this book
The dreadnought had seen better days…
…but now it was his ship.

Will the disgraced former Admiral earn the trust of his crew?

Known for being a tactical genius, Captain Jameson has been given a less than exciting mission. Go investigate the anomaly. Deep in an unchartered section of space, the UAF Titan must find the source of a mysterious signal.

He hates the mission.

Babysitting scientists in the middle of nowhere makes him crazy.

When they find the artifact, everything changes.

A semi-globe, opaque, and glowing, Jameson’s crew makes a single mistake and they are soon in over their heads. Have they just started a war?

Will the ship hold together?

What’s his next move?

You’ll love this first book in this exciting new series, because finding the artifact was only the beginning.

Bumpy Togetherness

The enjoyment of surfing digital waves of text brought forth by talent is indistinguishable from warm sunshine upon you inna occupied beach chair where the person Is relaxing with either closed eyes contemplating unvisited vistas or gazing out upon possibilities to be savored in a near future time. I recommend this author because I’ve enjoyed the visit walking thru his digital pasture woven with a story of possible togetherness. In spite of untoward acts by similar looking strangers. I’m not quite sated as I shall look for more.

Sophmorish Rambling Prose

Check the ratings. I did and thought “eh, might be OK.” I was so wrong. The characters are undeveloped and situationally blind to society and culture around them. The “evil” Xen are poorly drawn as well. As others have mentioned, many of the sci-fi details are mismanaged and military details mostly incorrect.

Definitely ranks as the worst book I’ve tried to read this year.

Somewhat interesting plot, but horrible writing. Multiple grammatical errors and dialogue that reads like it was written by a grade schooler. While I am all for new/independent writers self-publishing, I really wish that they would start to have at least somebody proofread their manuscript before submitting it.

New Space adventure with great characters!

First time I've read this author and was glad I did.
The story moved at a good pace and kept me turning pages.
I enjoyed the story line and the well thought out characters.
I have already purchased the next 2 books in this series.
It's great to have a new ( to me) author 😎

Book 1

Book 1 was a fun read and had a few errors throughout. The plot and characters are likeable and developed well. The plot moves quickly, but is easy to follow. Some of the characters are a bit hard to follow as they only appear on occasion, but the names are different enough to figure it out. I look forward to the next book.

Good sci-fi read

This was a good well written book about a war between two races then what happened next to change the universe. It has great action and twists to keep your attention

Worthwhile hard science at book

1. Has very good character development.
2. Well organized with logical plots and subplots.
3. Overall writing quality in the upper 5% of typical indie books.

Great read

I finished this book instead of playing the new version of an extremely popular first person shooter game. That fact alone should tell you how good this story is. Buy it, read it, and join me in celebrating fine story telling

An interesting start to a new series

I enjoyed this book. It picks up after a war and builds an interesting world. I look forward to the next book and hopefully some books showing the history discussed in this one.

Awesome Space Opera

Another awesome fast-paced and action packed sci-fi adventure. The storyline was very believable. The characters were easy to identify with and get behind. I really like this book and I highly recommend it.

An enjoyable read

A bitter captain, a mixed crew of humans and alien Xen in an old dreadnought battle a third group the humans hadn’t been told of. Trust taken to breaking point. I really enjoyed this escapist SciFi novel, first of series.

Shows promise

The writing is a bit stilted and the characters somewhat superficial, and there's a desperate need of editing, but it's a pretty good story

Not good at all. One cliche after the other, and so many grammatical errors it made me wince.
