MJ Haag is the bestselling author of the Beastly Tales and the Resurrection Chronicles. Writing as both MJ Haag and Melissa Haag, she has sold more than three hundred thousand copies worldwide and authored several other series, including the Judgement of the Six and Of Fates and Furies.
She thinks bios written in third person are hilariously pretentious and doesn't take much in life seriously, including her author photo.
She lives in Wisconsin with her three children and husband.
4.5 stars -- I love these bonus novellas. They're just great fan service. Jessie was a fun heroine, because she had learned that to adapt meant to survive...so it took her less time to see past the initial view of the Fey and recognize their worth. I loved that. Plus, I kind of forgot about this part, so it was fun visiting it again. I loved how Byllo would look to her with Savvy, and imitate her. That he was all about learning and growing. That's just...swoony.
Zombies and fey? What's not to love about that interesting combination? Although it was a rather short read I was indulged in the story of Jessie and Byllo. I'm looking forward to reading more of this book series and reading more of Jessie and Byllo's story!
I can't even convey how much I adore this series!! I think it borders on an obsession really. My only complaint is that this little novela is far, far, far too short!!! I could read this world forever and am wasting away waiting for the next book!
I want to see more of Jessie and Billow and am dying to know how Mya is doing. In fact, I just started re-reading the entire series because I just can't wait for more!!!
There's just something so irresistible about the Fae, and the characters are so relatable! There's never a dull moment!
I'm hoping the next installment will be out soon, and also have my fingers crossed that M.J. will write us a nice, dark tale in this world as well. 😈
A wonderful novella telling the story of how two side characters, from the Resurrection Chronicles by M.J. Haag meet and began their relationship. I love seeing more of the.backgroind story of Byllo and Jessie and look forward to seeing more of them in the next installment, "Demon Dawn"
A quick read which gives more info on how Jessie and Byllo met. It doesn't push the story forward beyond book 3, but is merely an insight into conversations between Jessie and Byllo during the previous installment.
Even though this was a short read I still loved it! I honestly can not get enough of this series and love getting to know how each of the Fey end up finding “there women”
Bonus scene of how Byllo and Jessie got together during a zombie apocalypse. I haven’t read anything else in this series and this was just a group of scenes. Interesting idea though.
