Austin and Aida are adorable. The characters are sweet, charming, and well matched. I love this series! I sometimes wish there was more time to spend with the characters but the way Jane writes makes the story flow easily and I don't feel like I was jipped. I just really like the characters. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

The Zaftig Dating Agency’s potential target match this time is between country music singer Austin Smith, and Aida Conway. His bandmate claims Austin is “monogamous by nature”, so their touring pace means he has difficulty making deep connections with women – and he needs a little secret push from the Zaftig Dating Agency. Aida owns and operates Pretty Hungry, a catering company hired to cater when the band is in town for the concert, so “the stage is set” as they say. Will this be a successful match?
When Austin wakes up on the bus, he stretches out his cramped muscles and heads for the food! He meets Aida who doesn’t recognize him, so he enjoys the short time to chat with her. When she asks about the singer, what he’s like, and tells him she needs to get his autograph, she finally realizes this man is Austin. She had already told him this was her first “big event” as a caterer, and he tells her she’s doing a great job. Then his buddy Mitchell, the flirt and ladies’ man, walks up and Austin feels very protective of Aida. Mitch grins, acknowledging that Austin has at last “staked his claim” on a woman! He then warns Aida that, when working with bands, avoid the drummers – they are hard partiers looking for a good time!
When Austin walks away, Aida lets out her breath and acknowledges now why her friend and tons of others love this guy! He is tall and handsome, friendly and outgoing, and when she hears him singing softly backstage, his voice melts her. At intermission, Austin comes back to see Aida and asked her friend’s name, and whether she was the shy type or not. When he returned to the stage, he called Ginny up to join him and lead the line dance that was associated with the song! Ginny had the best time of her life and when the song ended, someone brought her backstage to Aida. Ginny was so elated and Aida was happy for her friend. After the meet and greet, Austin returned and asked if she would come to his trailer so they could talk since all the food was out and her job was basically done. To her surprise, he asked to kiss her and told her she was there because he wanted her to be. She was sweet, funny, smart, and gorgeous – and there was no other choice for him. No one had ever treated her like this before. When he asked her to join him on tour, she thought of her new business, how irresponsible it would be, there was no way she should do it – and said Yes, knowing this was absolutely the right choice!
This was so adorable, I just melted at their first meeting. Their personalities made you love both of them right away, and the rest of their interactions just made you care even more. Even the secondary characters were friendly and supportive. And the story line is still not over, so grab your copy and see what else is in store for these two!

Who doesn't love a cowboy that sings to you.........but she adds the spicy kick!!!
I am just going to say this...............Jane Fox has an fantastic series with the Zaftig Dating Agency books and Pulling Her Strings is another winner.
This is the story of one lonely country singer named Austin Smith. He has not had a relationship is several years, he does not entertain groupies and he is having a hard time writing lyrics to love songs as he just does not have it in him any more. What this cowboy needs is a cowgirl who will ride him into the sunset.
Enter Aida Conway, a lovely young woman who has started her own catering company. Pretty Hungry, in Evans, Ohio. Her company gets the contract to cater Austin's outdoor show in town and she is excited. Not for meeting Austin, as she is not a fan and does not know what he even looks like, but because this is the largest job her company has had so far.
When Austin smells the delicious aromas coming from the backstage area he follows his nose. What he sees completely takes his breath away and makes him hungry in so many ways. He knows he wants Aida immediately and after a "meet cute" he makes her promise she will not leave without talking to him.

I really enjoyed this story. The secret matchmaker set ups are pretty awesome and I get a real kick out of them.

Aida is catering the biggest job she's ever had for the Austin Smith concert. She's not a big fan of country music, so she isn't prepared for how hot Austin is.
She will just have to try to be professional.
There seemed to be some instalove going on between Austin and Aida. They were so funny about wanting to talk to each other, but still playing it cool. At least until the concert is over and everything is pretty much over, then they kick things through the roof. Very sweet, but short romance. I recommend reading this book!

Another great book about the Zaftig dating service where clients are listed by their friends and set up to meet the perfect partner for them all without knowing it. This time it is Austin and Aida

Pulling her strings is book seven in the zaftig dating agency series. Although this book is the seventh of the series, it is the first one that I have read. This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Austin Smith is a famous country singer. He is a bit bored in his life and is considering settling down. Aida has just got her first big job as a caterer. From the moment Aida and Aiden meet, there is an instant connection but will things work out for them?
The chemistry between Aida and Aiden is clear to see and I liked them together. They made a cute couple.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is a nice read.

I loved this story! Austin is a famous country musician and of course, he has ladies throwing themselves at him constantly, yet he does not show interest in them. One glance at Aida and he's playing for keeps! I love stories of over-the-top instant love, especially with a curvy girl and an alpha male and this story ticks all the boxes. I've really enjoyed this Zaftig series and cannot wait for the next installment!

Aida is catering Austin's performance in her town. Austin is a famous singer in a band currently on tour, but he's not interest in groupies. Mitch, Austin's friend and drummer in the band, sets up him with Zaftig. And, as they say, the rest is history. This is a cute insta-love story with a hot older guy, a sweet younger woman, and some steamy scenes, and a happy ending. I've enjoyed this series of books, and am looking forward to the next one.

This was book seven of the Zaftig Dating Agency series. The story was about Austin, a country music star, and Aida, our curvy caterer hired for food service backstage. When Austin walks into the room, he sees Aida and is immediately smitten with her. Ms. Fox is quite adept at capturing the nuances of the curvaceous young women she writes about in her books. I've read a lot of books written by Jane Fox; she has done an excellent job at writing a good short story; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Another hit from this series. This is the seventh book in this series Zaftig Dating Agency. This is the story of a older sexy country western singer Austin Smith and Aida a younger woman who is set up to cater at one of his shows. He is step up my his best friend and drummer Mitchell. You will enjoy this story, the characters fit well together and have a connection. A must read, I recommend this book and this series. I can't wait for the next book.

Oh I think Pulling Her Strings may be my favorite of the Zaftig Dating Agency Series! Austin and Aida had sizzling chemistry. Austin is a famous country music singer looking for love so his friend and drummer sets him with the agency. Austin has no interest in groupies and one night stands. He is looking for the real thing. Aida owns her own catering company and is hired to feed the band. One look at Aida and Austin is smitten. He knows his search is over.

4.5 Stars - Loved this sweet country romance. The rock star and the caterer. InstaLove at its finest and a lovely way to pass 30 minutes. Love seeing all the well known and well loved tropes played out in Fox’s stories - she’s a master of the romantic and steamy short story!!

I enjoy these short stories about the Zaftig Dating Agency and this one is no exception. It is the perfect type of story to heat up a cold winter's evening, in fact. Insta-lust between our cowboy and our caterer starts off the story with sparks flying. I loved the fast pace from there.

I loved this story! It reminded me of a Nicholas Sparks movie. I think that it would be great as a full fledged novel but I’m very pleased with the result. I wonder what the next story will bring I’m sure it will be just as delightful

Find love with your stomach is how Aida finds her man. It seems that opening up a new catering service and winning a bid on a venue for a country singer opening special attention. Oh it will help if you actually knew who the country singer was. Short and A twofer says to couples found love in the story.

Great book
