Ignore the one stars (the troll hid them on here) but they are on Amazon. They all came from the SAME, weird, ill minded reader whose obsessed with me and tried to sabotage me.
OMG if she said "Elijah wolfed" or whoever "wolfed" ONE- MORE- DAMN- TIME, I was going to pull my hair out. This really needed to be edited for repetition because it started to become extremely annoying. Not only because the phrase is usually "barked" but because she said it 1000 times through out the book. It was said in the first book, but not a gazillion times as in this one. Otherwise, the follow up was a decent read. I can't say I enjoyed it as much as the initial installment, but it was worth the read.
The storyline was pretty good, but still a bit lackluster IMO
So this 2 book series this far is the first book I ever read by this author. Once o started the first book, I was like wow I can't believe I kept in my library for months without reading. So when I started I was like OK OK I like her style, hated I waited so long. So after reading both books, I think it was a pretty good read, but still left with so many unanswered questions.
Now I'm really in my feelings because I wanna know what happens when Elijah gets out and realize he had a baby by a witch that he doesn't remember being intimate with!!!...Will Tikka finally come into her powers since Grandma appeared to explain the 3rd reason!!!... What about the powers Elijah sister Fatima has!!!... All in all, the was definitely a good book to read!!!...
Please read the first book. The characters jump off the book and I'm real paranormal fan and African-American paranormal is rare and I'm here for it all. I can't wait for part 3.
