Four stories about a family in Baltimore, whose grandfather owns the pub. There's a cast of thousands as far as family members are concerned, and heaps of room for all the stories about their loves and losses. They're a family with some more unusual relationships as well.
Books 1-4 have different tropes; Book 1 - enemies to lovers Book 2 - ex's best friend, rebound (for want of better terms) Book 3 - fake dating - rescuer Book 4 - second chance romance, best friends
Book 3 is a real tearjerker. Count this as a warning.
One of the better anthologies (series) I've read where they are all great characters. Reading these in order would be best as they seem to be choronological and cross reference the previous books.
Some great sex, interesting scenarios, fun reading, except for a couple of things... First, WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK. This author knows zip, zero, zilch about Irish alcohol WTF 🤦♀️ There are LITERALLY hundreds of beers & whiskies besides Guinness and Jameson. No Irish immigrant bar owner is going to be overly impressed by your Guinness order as happens several times. And I cannot stress this enough and I will shout it from the rooftops: IRISH WHISKEY AND AMERICAN BOURBON ARE NOT THE SAME and a 3 generation pub knows the difference. Padraig and Pop Pop share a Jameson and then Pop Pop, born and raised in Ireland, says to his grandson, whose a professional bartender, "take a drink of that bourbon..." No. Fuck no. No no no no no no no. A thousand times no. Jameson is not bourbon. I'm so spitting mad I want to heave this book back at the author.
The second thing is, I get license. Artistic, author license., but since I actually have an inoperable brain tumor, diagnosed in 2019, that part was pure shit. All the author had to do was call somebody and ask and still would have had a poignant, heartfelt book. Chemo is scary, but doing nothing is scarier. I increased my survival. Treat your cancers, people!!!!! God, now I need a Bushmills...
Ok I loved the Wild Irish series, but this one may be even better!! The first four books knocked my socks off! Each different in their own way, as each character is unique. But the love of the Collins family is unbelievable, their closeness is truly amazing. Honestly with each book I read, I thought that was my favorite, but the stories keep getting better and better.
I do have to say Mari, that I agree with you, Padraig's story was the ultimate love story. I had a feeling it wasn't going to be the ending I wanted. But I took a deep breath and continued on the journey you wrote. It was AMAZING!! I love and hate you for that story!!
Each Collin grandchild is unique and I can't wait to read about the rest of the clan. And Pop pop, he is the glue that keeps them all together. That and his memories of Sunday, and his sage advice.
This series and the Wild Irish series are a must read!!
These are very short romance semi spicy romance stories. I stopped after the box set but I don't think purchasing each one individually is worth it - just not enough in the book to make it worth it. I love the family and that you see the parents for the original wild series pop up. I do a love series, especially when characters overlap. But these were all just ok. Each story is a different theme and that nice but its just ok on all levels. The romance plot is ok, being its kind of quick with not a lot of conflict and easily resolved. The timeline is ok in that all kind of happens super quickly. and the spicy is just ok.
I was hooked after the first one, the second one got better, the third one ripped my heart out and then put it back together, however, the fourth one was good but it had so many grammatical mistakes, it distracted me from the story. This is the reason I gave an overall rating of three stars instead of four. Otherwise, great first four books and I’ve already ordered the fifth.
Wow, lots of surprises in these books. Each one told a completely different story, though with the theme of the love of a big family being very apparent in all. Each character had their own wonderful traits, and I loved how each started with the main character as a child with Pop Pop. I immediately wanted to be in the Collins family, even though I love my own! Well done creating such a fantastic environment the reader could get lost in

Wild Devotion

They decide to film the finale at the family bar, secrets come to life. Fiona needs to decide how she feels about Owen and Asher, once and forever.
These four books where fun. They were not what I expected. I enjoyed the stories and romance. This is the second series following this family and it makes me want to read ALL the Wild Irish series. I can't wait to read more about this amazing family.
Wild Passion - 1 star - I quit this book after just two chapters. TBH, I'm sick to death of all the D/s romances on the market. Wild Desire - 4 stars Wild Devotion - 0 stars - I didn't even bother to read this one. I want a HEA, not a story about an h that dies of cancer. Wild at Heart - 5 stars - I loved everything about this one. Total - 2.5 stars

The book caught me tight in its grip till i finished all 4 of them. I was laughing n crying n cursing right along with characters. Caught my family giving me quite a few weird looks when I was chuckling while reading the book. Go for it ...its definitely worth a read 😍
You will fall in love with the Collins family while a few of them fall in love forever. Mari does not disappoint with this series of family and love and will leave you wanting more. You will laugh, cry and fan yourself with some of the scenes. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.
Loved the characters, each storyline was amazing. There was romance, drama and some spicy stuff too. Made for a great box set. These are one of those sets once you start reading you can't put it down then when you're almost at the ending you don't want it to end.
Sure there's lots of sexy times but they're held together by surprisingly strong story lines. Interesting characters. A dominance/ submissive thing did feature in a few of the stories. For me personally I'm glad it stayed in the bedroom and wasn't too central in the plot.
I only read the third story. The subject matter of the other three stories didn't interest me. The story was enjoyable but entirely predictable. The author's writing style is good and there were no typographical errors.
These books were amazing. My only issue was the last book in the set had a lot of mistakes. I've come to appreciate this author for her writing both in store and professionalism. This lady book felt rushed and needed some serious grammatical help.
At some point in each of these books I was near or in tears, but each of them also ended happily. I love all of the characters, they feel like family or extended family. Great reads!
Absolutely loved this series! Very real and lovely stories about this great Irish family. I loved all of these books, but Paddy's story was so touching and very real. I am going to read this complete series ! Lochlon is next and I can't wait!!
Just different types of experience into the Wilder Irish families ,with great success and different lifestyles. Great ability to help others like families. All the essence and the themes in the books are captivated. Recommended
This box set is awesome! Four stories which pluck the heart strings and three with a hea. Mia and Padraig's story had me in tears more often than not but it was a great read none the less! Mari did a fantastic job with this set so I'm off to check some more of her work.
The stories continue with the most spirited, funny, loving, and yes, wild Irish family west of the Atlantic. Can't wait to continue reading the rest of the series! And of you haven't already, be sure to read the original series Wild Irish!
This box set was fantastic to read. I loved reading about this Irish family. They were so much fun a each member was some what a like but yet different. Everyone should read this series.
