Tegen Hunt is the fourth book in the Tegen Series by Award-Winning, USA Today Bestselling Author Inge-Lise Goss.

An immortal species with human and spider DNA, a Tegen possesses unique abilities and they have spider-like qualities, while living in partnership with spiders they carry around with them in cages.

Since Sara Jones has discovered her spider-climbing agility and self-healing powers, her life has never been the same.

Now she’s on a mission to seek vengeance against a powerful drug dealer, but with one huge complication – she’s being hunted by a killer, who just so happens to be another Tegen. Sara manages to survive several attempts on her life, and there’s even some romance weaved into the mix, since she’s seeing two different men, one who just happens to be a crime boss.

But are the Tegens good or evil? Mystery, fantasy, suspense, horror and even a touch of romance abounds in this unique series, filled with twists and turns.

This excellent story is a standalone. It’s not necessary to read the previous books, but I highly recommend the entire series for lovers of sci-fi mystery horror and suspense.

WOW! I became totally immersed in this story from the very beginning and am so glad I picked it up to read. Full of mystery, suspense, action, drama, horror and romance, this story with its intriguing theme, complex characters, and well developed plot is one I totally recommend to all. Edge of the seat twists & turns and complications will keep you turning those pages to find out what happens next in the life of Sara, the strong and kickass female main character.

Human/spider immortals

Despite not reading any of the previous books in this series and feeling a bit like coming into a movie late, I found this book to be quite thrilling. The pace is fast, the premise of human/arachnid immortals and the existence of a couple of bad guys (one more hero than bad guy) make this a great read. The ending obviously hints of a book 5. Will have yo read books 1-3!

The Tegens is a four-book series, however, you can pick up a book and read it as stand-alone too. There is an introduction to the Tegen Hunt 4 at the beginning of the book that is needed information if you are picking this up as your first read in the series. This wonderfully weaved story crosses multiple genres, fantasy/suspense/mystery that makes this even more compelling. When I realised that it was a spider-induced novel, a cold chill ran down my spine due to the fact I have a fear of spiders!
Immortal spider/human species are at the core of this unique tale. The protagonist, Sara Jones, discovers self-healing powers and super agility that come into skilful use when she goes undercover in an attempt to bring down a drug lord. Her life is constantly in danger and she must stay one step ahead.
This new species is fascinating, and I thought quite genius of the author. The detail of the species is spectacular, what keeps them alive, their dietary needs and so on. Totally unique and refreshing to read.

Digging deeper into the life of Sara the Tegen, Inge-Lise Goss takes you along on a mission with her as she searches for a killer for an acquaintance in Tegen Hunt. Sara is being hunted by the renegade Tegen, Blake, when she decides hiding under an alias in Albuquerque allows her to hunt down the man who killed Daniela's grandson. As she begins her investigation she finds many people have come up missing or killed. The Keg House seems to have connections to these killings and that is where Sara finds employment. The bar becomes a hot place when the boss expects a big business deal to go down and the potential associate ends up being her crime leader boyfriend. Sara finds herself occupied with multiple distractions; Connor and his body guards, narrowing down the killer or killers, and stay hidden from Blake, though he knows exactly where she is at.

Tegen Hunt is the fourth in Inge-Lise Goss's Tegen series. When people can control poisonous spiders and rely on them for their strength and healing, you know it's going to be a great and chilling read. Blake insists he just wants to talk and manipulates his father and friends into believing Sara just misunderstands him. This novel's intensity continues to build as Sara realizes Connor's bodyguards and the tegen enforcers can no protect her from Blake. You will become fully invested in Sara's outcome and relieved when you realize this is not the end of Sara's story.
This is a skillfully written novel that leaves the reader hanging on every word, anticipating the next deception and kill. If you like thrillers with a touch of romance and chilling horror waiting around any corner, you will love this novel.

I rarely write books reviews. I fell in love with the Tegen series when I read the Tegen Cave last year. I was gifted with an early copy of the Tegen Hunt. This book was a non-stop read for me. I loved that there is a description of tegen species in the beginning of the book.
The story picks up a few weeks after the Tegen Punishment. Sara is working on an investigation for acquaintance while she is being hunted by a ruthless Tegen.
One of my favorite characters is Kendall. He is very mysterious. I loved learning more abut the Tegen world and Kendall’s chosen profession as an enforcer. He presents a cold facade, but I feel like this book reveals more of his character.
There is never a dull moment in this book. I love that Inge-Lise Goss stories has something for everyone to enjoy. The Tegen Hunt starts off with a bang, and the ending left me wondering what is going happen to Sara. I can’t want to read the next book.

Shuddering good read..

Sara is being hunted by Blake who escaped at the end of the previous novel and is determined to use every connection he has to capture and kill her.

Sara has a mission though, she's trying to shut down an Albuquerque illegal opioid factory and take out the men and women who have been killing locals. When Conner turns up and appears to be doing a deal with them she's got her hands full..

Hiding her powers from Conner and his team of bodyguards, dealing with Kendall and his team who are after Blake, dealing with the criminals she's working undercover for and trying not to be captured by Blake..

The only people she can absolutely trust are Conner and Kendall and not only will she need to keep them apart, but she's going to need to work out which Tegen is helping Blake because the only way he could have escaped is with inside help.

Can she get through it all unscathed or will she be caught by one enemy or two?

There's a few typos, which is a shame, hopefully the error reports will be picked up and corrected quickly. Doesn't detract from a great story, with plenty of twists and turns, that will have you shuddering over the very idea of Tegens in the first place..

I really enjoyed this very different "superhero" story. Tegens, it seems to me are akin to Spiderman but they are numerous and organised. I found the story of Sara's search for the organisers of an opiate factory, whilst still trying to stay out of the clutches of a rogue Tegen, Blake, to be fascinating and thoroughly enjoyable. If you like your action stories, fast and furious with a "kick-ass" yet vulnerable female lead then this book and even this series may be right up your alley. An excellent read and one I highly recommend.

Sara is a Tegen, a human with well hidden spider-like attributes. She's being hunted by a cold blooded killer while also trying to solve another murder. This is a seat of your pants read! The plot twists and turns held every bit of my attention and I just couldn't put it down.

The Tegen Hunt is a unique genre-crossing story, book 4 in the Tegens series. Combining mystery, fantasy, suspense, and horror, this novel is a compelling page-turner with outstanding scene painting that can invoke instant shudders or thrills.

Ms. Goss has created a new race of humans who have spider-like qualities and who live in partnership with spiders they carry in cages wherever they go. The culture is full of shocking ceremonies which the members need to survive. The heroine, Sara, is a complex being who belongs to this race of Tegens and who is on a mission to gain righteous vengeance for terrible deeds perpetrated by a powerful drug dealer while concurrently being hunted by a man determined to kill her.

The author keeps you guessing. Are the Tegens evil or good? There are plenty of twists to keep you wondering what’s around the corner. In addition, the main character, who is on this noble quest, also dates two very different men, one of whom is a crime lord. Needless to say, Sara’s life is complicated.

Sara also has the ability to don disguises at a moment’s notice, which comes in very helpful in her adventures with nefarious villains. Because of her spider skills, she can scale the tallest building when she gets cornered.

Inge-Lise Goss is a fine writer. I read and very much enjoyed Compelled, by Ms. Goss, a thriller with paranormal twists that I highly recommend. Tegen Hunt is a horse of a different color, and definitely not for the faint of heart!

If you love horror and thrills, Tegen Hunt is the book for you.

A Beautifully Spun Spider Web of Intrigue

Tegan Hunt is the second Tegen Thriller I have read by Inge-Lise Goss. The hook this author weaves into the end of the last novel lured me further into the series.

When the villain, Blake, escapes, he vows to hunt down and kill the only one who heard his confession, Sara. Before Tegan Hunt begins, Goss introduces a beautifully spun spider web of intrigue.

Twists and turns abound in this multi-layered plot and the richly-drawn characters keep the reader completely absorbed and on the edge of their seat.

Goss’s imagination crafts a gender-bending thriller brimming with mystery, suspense, fantasy, paranormal, creepy-crawly spiders, and a double dash of romance.

If you love cross-genre stories that draw you in and won’t let go, you have to read this author’s work. Tegan Hunt is a spine-tingling thriller that will keep you glued to the end and wanting more.

this was great book but to much focus on her investigating a crime in another state and not on the killer that is after her. it was very long to get the whole point across. you have to read to find out what happens.

a brilliant book

The most scary of the series. I didn’t think Sara was going to survive, and how and what would Connor have done.
Kendall, the enforcer has finally shown a softer side, despite being betrayed by a team member.
Justice has finally caught up with Blake, but at such cost.
Love this series.
