This is a Bridgewater Holiday Novella- Where menage meets marriage-
"I have never read this series before, but I wanted something related to Christmas and this book turned out to be a perfect fit. I must say that I ended up liking the story, and it piqued my interest enough to make me want to go back and read the series from the beginning. I also appreciate the fact that it's set in the Western genre, which I've always enjoyed. However, I'm not entirely certain how much of the story is credible since I'm aware that in some places, men had more than one wife, but this particular storyline seems to go beyond the norm."
Allison Travers has found herself in a complicated situation. She has fallen in love with two men, Quinn and Porter, both of whom are irresistible to her. However, her happiness is threatened by a malicious man who is spreading rumors about her and trying to force her into marriage. Despite this, Quinn and Porter believe in Allison's virtue and have been courting her without her knowledge. They both wish to marry her and although she is worried about hurting one of them, Allison soon realizes that she has no reason to worry.
This is a menage with two men and one woman. Some explicit scenes would not be for those under 18.
This one was nice, short, and straight to the point. One guy tried to ruin Allison's reputation, but Porter and Quinn knew better. With a little bit of teasing they got it everything out of her and was bale to make sure her reputation wasn't shot.
This was a fun sexy short story. I love vanessa Vale's short erotic historical stories. Porter and Quinn chase down Allison after she leaves town in shame and afraid of being shunned by the two men that mean the most to her. Quinn and Porter have been courting Allison for months the only problem is Allison is to innocent to realize it. They know she has not done the things being said abou her. When the catch up to her can they make her believe she's wanted bye them?
Vanessa Vale's "Their Christmas Bride" is the fifth tale in the Bridgewater Menage series, but you can read it as a standalone. Great little holiday MFM romp! Quinn and Porter are sexy sexies! As always, there are great sex scenes. Ho ho ho! A little bit of sexy candy cane!
The Christmas story is a short novella and will bring Porter, Quinn, and Allison Travers together. Unlike the other stories in the series, Allison knows both Porter and Quinn, has feelings for them, feels guilty about it, but doesn’t think they reciprocate. When Mr. Matthews makes his pursuit known, and she rejects him, he lets her know he will slander her reputation.
October: “You should not have your sights set on a man. You should, instead, keep your eyes on the man who has his sights set on you.” –Quinn
The story will have Allison leaving by stagecoach on Christmas day but not getting away. When the Sheriff, Porter, and Quinn meet her, open the door, she assumes Mr. Matthews has spread his lies, and she is being arrested. What a shock to find out it is a wedding instead.
“Perhaps it was for the best I left town, for what man would want a woman who had lustful thoughts, even impure actions, about two different men? I lusted after not one man, but two. I eagerly sought the attention of not one man but two. I longed for not one man, but two. I was a—a hussy.”
The three of them make a great pair of husbands and wife. The erotic chemistry is powerful, and once the misconceptions are handled, they can move forward. I wished this story had been longer because I liked these three together.
“We both paid interest you after that because we wanted you. We never would have vied for your attention. We wanted them equally. We want them equally.”
"Do you want us as much as we want you? We wanted you for our wife from the very beginning, but do you want us to be your husbands?”
“It’s Christmas and it’s time for us to unwrap our present.”

Audible writes, "Allison Travers is in love with two men. Two! Quinn and Porter are both irresistible, and making a choice between them seems impossible. But she fears she’ll lose the chance to decide when a malicious man seeks to force her into marriage with him by spreading rumors painting her as a woman with loose morals. Quinn and Porter aren’t about to buy the lies. They love Allison, and what’s more, they both want to marry her. Allison, unaware that one woman for two husbands is the way of the Bridgewater men, soon learns of their customs. And she learns something else as well: Once they track her down, these two handsome cowboys will never let go of the woman they plan to make their Christmas Bride." ===== Not for me this. I read this several years ago but never reviewed it. After reading it again, NOW I'm reviewing it. LOL It's no secret among my friends that I love Vanessa Vale's books and I do love a really good menage. Add in that it's historical western makes it even more appealing to me. Allison has caught the eye of Quinn and Porter but the three never said anything to each other. When a bad guy tries to pressure her into a marriage she doesn't want and spreads gossip about her to get his way, she runs. This was a quick, hot and steamy read. I really enjoyed it when Porter stops the stagecoach along with the sheriff, pulls her off. What follows is an eye opening experience for Allison. One that will make her dreams come true...............if she has the guts to follow those dreams.
Wow I’m so sorry, this is my first rating in the 1 star category. Not for anything egregiously bad, but just bc it was boring as fuck and the writing was super confusing at first.
The guys were barely characters, and the only things that were mildly interesting were just that… only Mildly interesting.
Plot is kind of ridiculous, but I expected that, that’s what I came for, but it just ended up being so uninteresting. It kind of really suffered from the length. Lowkey, this probably would’ve been way more interesting and better, were it like, a 250 page short story perhaps?
As is, the plot is boring, the characters are boring, and the smut was boring, which was the biggest sin of the whole book
This was included in the Audible Plus catalog. I was specifically looking for Christmas romances. I have not read any of the other books in the series. I don’t tend to read the synopsis before starting a book, so I was surprised that this was spicier than I was expecting.
I feel like the storyline was too short. Maybe there is continuity from previous books in the series, but it felt like I really didn’t get to know the characters before it got steamy.
Not a fan of the narrator. She seemed a bit bored and there were several mispronounced words.
This was a good, very short, Christmas erotica. Vanessa’s stories are always very same same: there are alpha men, normally 2+ per female, they rescue her somehow, she is innocent (in every way), they claim her, tons of steamy scenes and hea….the end. Vanessa’s stories are good for a free, steamy tale on catalogue plus and I know exactly what I am going to get. Don’t expect amazing plots, nor a gripping story. Kylie’s narration was very good as always.
Steamy novella - Listened to Audible version. Allison finds happiness with the men who hold her affections, Quinn and Porter. They have been steadfast since she met them, making it hard to select her forever love. But as happens with the Bridgewater men, she need not choose. She just needs to revel in the multiple pleasures they bring. Another great addition to the series, but I do wish it was longer.
Their Christmas Bride (Bridgewater Menage Series Book 5)
The Christmas wedding of Allison, Quinn and Porter. When Allison refuse to marry Carton Matthews , he start a rumor that she have sex with him and stolen money from him. So she run but Porter and Quinn rescue her. Very short story.
I was just looking for books to listen to as I decorated my tree. Saw the "their" in the title and was sold. Like a MFM Christmas book and I'm definitely picking it up. 😂😂😂 Now, I want to read the whole series because this got me wondering about this little town. There wasn't really a Christmas aspect, but I'm not judging. I listened to it through my Libby app. 🎄🎄🎄.5
I was looking for a Christmas Romance and this series is included in the Audible Plus Catalogue. It’s a super short read to help you with your reading goal but the story was not my favourite. I enjoy reading Vanessa Vale’s books but the time period of this confused me and the story ended kind of abruptly.
I was in the mood for some Christmas stories, so I picked up this one. It was a quick one with Allison finding out that she was going to marry the men she had loved from afar. It was a little less sexy than I expected, but it was a good quick read. Great for a holiday read.
This was a fun short story about Allison and her men. It kind of cracked me up because of the way the men courted Allison and a reminder of how important clear communication is.
This one was ok for a novella. Vanessa Vale gave readers a quick follow up for a character introduced in the previous book. While she managed to give is a reason for the marriage and a quick scene of them hooking up, as usual I'm left wishing more had been done.
I love Vanessa Vale’s Bridgewater series with hot handsome cowboys and their sassy brides to be...this novella is really short so felt a little rushed, but still had the heat factor, and I was good with that..
If you've been reading this series, which I recommend, you know what to expect. Bridgewater is a ranch where two men marry one woman then treasure her. Porter and Quinn are after Allison but she doesn't realize what they offer her. Lucky for her they follow her and make sure she understands.
This novella was the perfect length for my bedtime read last night. Allison thinks she needs to run away to save her good name. But she didn't take into account that there are some folks who don't want her to leave. This is their story. Author Vanessa Vale knows how to write a book that keeps you reading from cover to cover.
