Jane was such a sweet character. Always hiding in the shadows of her glamorous friend. Not an ugly duckling just shy. When she meets Shane on the photoshoot she tagged along on she can't help but fall in lust then love. He's older, he's sexy and he's so far out of her league she knows but can't help but dream of what if.
Shane's reputation as top photographer is well known. He's used to models throwing themselves at him. He never looks. He takes his job seriously. That is until she walks in. She's the one. Jane is a dream come true and he wants her.
Super steamy. Five alarm hot, cool fan, wet towel HOT.
Jenna is a knew author for me. I feel for her first book she has huge potential. I will be keeping her name on my list of go to's.

Jane is the best friend of up and coming Model Tyra Board, always over looked and happy to fade in to the background but all that changes the day she accompanies her to the High Style cover shoot, she is immediately attracted to Shane Mason one of the most sought after photographers in the business but he would never look at her especially when Tyra is in the room so when he kisses her at the end of the shoot no one is more surprised than her and after he determinedly pursues her there is no way that she could ignore what is happening between them but should she really trust that she is the only woman he wants when he can have any woman he wants and is what Tyra is telling her true?

Plot: Shane is a top fashion photographer who is shooting the cover for a magazine. His model, Janice, brings along her friend/roommate, Jane. One look at Jane and Shane knows she's meant to be his girl. He convinces her to give him a chance. There is a subplot involving an accusation against Shane from an anonymous woman about inappropriate behavior during a shoot. He knows he hasn't done anything wrong, though, because he makes a point to not be alone with any of the models (as well as just not being that kind of a person). His relationship with Jane and the accusations against him merge into one plot/resolution.
Character development: Jane is one of those book girls who is beautiful but doesn't know she is. Even so, she's not annoying because she really keeps to herself - she isn't talking to everyone about how "not beautiful" she is. She expresses that idea to Shane, but that seems fairly normal in the scope of their relationship, especially as he photographs famous, beautiful models all the time. Janice was definitely a textbook villain, self-absorbed, out for #1 - hard to imagine how those two became friends (although I felt like Jane was just kind of floating through the "friendship").
Would I read more from this author/in this series: Yes
The dirty talk in this one - wow! Wow! 10/10, would recommend!

Shane is a highly sought after fashion photographer who has learned to keep his business purely professional. He doesn't sleep with the models, nor does he have any interest in doing so as they are mostly either looking for a foot in the door to raise their status or vapid. When he sees Jane tagging along with her friend, he knows he wants to not only have her in his bed but see him through his camera lens.
Jane is used to following in her best friends footsteps and she is fine with being the shadow. However when Shane sees her and reaches out, she is stunned and happy. Shane wants to keep what is happening between them quiet for the time being but can she trust that he really wants a future with her?
This started off good but was so rushed and I did not understand the keeping it a secret. There were a few details I would have liked to had cleared up but overall a fun quickie.

This was a new author for me super quick and okay.
Jane is a thick (it says she curvy and big breast but cover is not showing that.. so disappointed) and feels like shes a 0 compared to her best friend who is a hot model, going with her to her next photo shoot she meets Shane who is already sprung for her. But the BFF acts very bitchy and rude and snotty... i swear.. how did Jane even stand to be around her? Jane is shy and is enjoying her moment with Shane.. and she is shocked he would want to talk or kiss someone like her.
Poor girl.. as for Shane he is tired of models always trying to get in his pants and he only wants one girl.. and he shall have her.
Now Shane... something about how Shane acted was eh to me he kept on saying "did you tell janice?" Like why would he care if Jane told janice.. at all its their business. It was a wired thing.. and with all that going on their was someone who tried to ruin Shanes business.

First things first; I love the cover of this book! This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. Muse is the first book of Jenna Rose’s that I have read and the first that she has released. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Shane is a hotshot fashion photographer. When his model arrives for a shoot, she brings a friend. From the moment Shane sees the models friend, Jane, he wanted her. He wanted to photograph her and more. Will Jane give Shane a chance?
The chemistry between Jane and Shane is clear to see and I liked them together. I liked that Shane made Jane feel confident.
I really disliked Tyra. She wasn’t a nice person. I knew that she was evil from the moment she was introduced. I hated the way she treated Jane.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more from Jenna Rose.

Muse ARC Review---
The story reminds me of some of my favorites from authors like Olivia T. Turner, Jessa Kane, and Alexa Riley. I always think of these quick stories as pallet cleansers. If you just finished reading something emotionally draining or you had a bad day, stories like Muse are my go to. I love that I can dive in and know that I'm going to get an over the top alpha male, insta love, sexy fun times, and a Happily Ever After.
Now about Muse itself I appreciated the socially relevant plot. It seems that we cannot go a week without someone famous or even semi-famous being accused of being inappropriate. I have always thought that works of fiction is where author and readers try to deal with larger than life issues in a safe and controlled environment.
I do have to admit that I've never read anything Jenna Rose before and I was asked to give an impartial review. These are my honest opinions.

Jane is your typical wallflower, or so she thinks. She tags along with her best friend Tyra to a routine photoshoot. Tyra is vain and wishes to get to the top, no matter what it takes. Shane, the photographer is blindsided by Janes natural beauty and cannot wait to get her back into his studio for a private photoshoot. He ends up being accused of sexual harassment by an unknown woman and his career is on the line. Jane, does not know if Shane is honest in his desires but she grows to trust him.
There were some twists in here even with it being a pretty quick story. Everything is resolved and we get an HEA. Shane is demanding and HAWT where it counts. Great story!

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Once I started I could not put the book down from start to finish you just could not get enough with twists and turns hot and steamy like a rollercoaster ride of emotions that makes you want more with the chemistry and romance.

I love it 😍
This story was so freaking good! I love Jenna books. Jane is shy, sweet, beautiful,and caring. When she goes to a photo shoot with her client, she is in for a shock. She doesn't even know that is beautiful because she have curves. Shane is a photographer. He is sexy, sweet, attentive, and dedicated. He is so taken with Jane at the first sight. The writing was done beautifully and flows throughout the book. Amazing work again Jenna Rose!😘

Not my type of sex.
If you like smutty sex. This is your short. The female lead seems beautiful, unlike her roommate! But I'm not into porn sex. They had sex on camera & no one thinks her shots can't be hacked on the Photographer's Computer? I know it's fiction but still?? The author is very descriptive. Which makes her a good writer. Plus why couldn't we make the lead want to do more than be a wife. Just my two cents.

Loved this beautiful story!!
Shane is a photographer, he does photo shoots with top models daily, but he always keeps it professional. One a model he's worked with before brings in her friend, Jane, to watch the shoot Shane can't take his eyes off of her. This is a wonderful story and I highly recommend it!

Muse Is More ‘Meh’
The photographer sees someone stunning and unique for his world… that’s the plot. The points of view weren’t strong enough for inner dialogue alone to provide a reasonable through-line for their attraction. I also wasn’t drawn into what made either main character so irresistible.

Nice
I enjoyed it just as much as Maid. Shane just fell in love with Jane on site. No other woman had ever made him feel the way she did, and he saw a lot of women since he was a photographer. She became his muse
