One of the funniest rom-coms I have read this year! Anything having to do with rich people and a reality TV show is bound to draw up a lot of laughs! Gabby and Rhett really are a match made in heaven! They share the same views on life and sense of humor. And Rhett isn't intimidated by her money but he also isn't trying to get his hands on it. I was highly amused by the things that happened.... and when they finally got together.... it was explosive! I absolutely loved this story!!!

Rhett and Gabby’s story is just what I needed. A smart, funny LOL Read that had me smiling and giggling to myself throughout.
I only recently discovered this author and I have to say I love her dialogue and banter. It’s always witty and genuine. The chemistry in this one was explosive and I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a rom com to make you smile.

Gabby and Rhett had a strong connection from the moment they met. He made her relax and enjoy life more and she supported him in his dream to design and make surfboards. They may seem like complete opposites, but their zest for life and positive attitude brought them closer together. Gabby and Rhett bonded over trying new things, becoming friends with the other couples on the show, and they definitely made the best of an unusual situation. They never allow anyone or anything to come between them and they were a team on TV, at home and with each other. Gabby became a stronger person and finally realized that she was worthy of a happily ever after with the man of her dreams. Rhett was enamored with Gabby and knew he had finally found the one person who truly understood him.
This is a romantic, steamy and lighthearted story of believing in yourself, following your dreams and finding your soulmate when you least expect it. I definitely need to read more rom-com’s because " Desperately Seeking Househusband” made me laugh from the first page and I couldn’t get enough of the flirtatious banter between Gabby and Rhett.

Desperately Seeking Househusband was such a great book! I had a smile on my face the entire time I read it. This book is a fake boyfriend with a twist of goats and professional huggers, not to forget the crazy rich and reality shows. Gabby and Rhett had me laughing out loud with their banter and fanning myself with their chemistry! I caught myself reading this one slower just so it wouldn't end. To say I loved it is a complete understatement!

I LAUGHED SO FREAKING HARD!!! Like tears rolling down my face hard! How crap I LOVE Marika's writing, I've read quite a few books from here and they get better and better each time and Desperately Seeking Husband is no exceptions. Revenge is ALWAYS a good book! Can Desperately Seeking Househusband be a real reality TV show?? Because I would totally binge this epic craziness the same way I did this book.
I mean Marika had me rolling in tear filled laughter from chapter 1. The puns, oh the puns, and dreamy hot Rhett and his strong funny t-shirt game... Man is Gabby one lucky lady.
If you're looking for a book that will make you happy this book is for you because as you watch Gabby and Rhett fall in love you'll feel like you're being wrapped up in one of Lavender's hugs.

Loved this Rom-Com! Gabby and Rhett are perfect together. Their chemistry in and out of the bedroom is off the charts. I laughed loudly through out this book and finished the book with a huge smile. There are so many great characters and messages in this book. I really enjoy Marika Ray’s writing and story telling. She has the perfect amount of humor and steam to make her books some of my favorites!

This is such a feel-good story! I loved Gabby and Rhett, both as a couple and separately. And the goats! Honestly, the goat scene had me giggling the whole way through. If you're looking for a sexy rom com with a strong heroine, a swoon worthy book boyfriend, and a cast of supporting characters who are both whacky and real, this is the book for you. Also, goats. I really can't stress that enough. :)

Desperately Seeking Househusband is definitely my favorite book of the Reality of Love series. It was fun, flirty, quirky, sexy - just a truly enjoyable story! From the beginning, I just knew that Gabby and Rhett were going to a perfect match for the other. I mean, when your first conversation is about a third nipple and you still want to enter into a fake relationship for a reality TV series - yup, they totally were going to make it. Of course, there was bound to be drama (the twist - yeah, that one definitely surprised me), but for the most part this story was light and fun and absolutely hilarious.

So I will start by saying Rhett is mine! Soo backoff-- a perfect book boyfriend for you to fall head over heels in love with! You will love this witty, sexy and fantastic read. I guarantee a great time reading it. I loved this so much-- add it to my favorites from Marika!

Desperately Seeking Househusband was a fabulous addition to the Reality of Love series. Gabby and Rhett, while seemingly opposite on the surface were perfect for one another. I laughed so hard throughout the entire story. Marika really has that magical balance of making a book funny, yet still romantic and sexy. Add in some reality TV craziness and adorable goats, and how can you go wrong? Spoiler alert: You can't. I loved everything about this book.

What a fantastically funny story. I laughed so much reading this book. I got a few funny looks. I really enjoyed this story. The characters were very likeable and brilliant. An absolutely amazing read that I enjoyed.

Another terrific rom-com that will have you laughing and smiling throughout the entire book. Gabby and Rhett’s story is so unique involving third nipples and goats mixed with reality television. Trust me you need to read this story to get the full picture. Just do not drink or eat anything while reading because you will wind up either choking or wearing it!! Definitely one of my favorites by this author and one of the funniest books I have ever read.

This is such a sweet story that says so much. I’m not sure how this author comes up with all these fabulous ideas for her stories but I hope she never stops.
Gabby is a woman trying to move on with her life and put her horrid ex-boyfriend behind her by going on a reality show (which in fact isn’t reality at all!) to show him what he’s missing and how she’s moving on with her life. Enter , Rhett, gorgeous, dimpled and full of life and excitement.
These two have instant chemistry together. Another thing they have in common is Hewitt, ex boyfriend and horrible half brother. Can they rid themselves of the awfulness of the past and make it or will it haunt them forever?
Along the way we come to meet over the top secondary characters and situations that feed into the story and make you howl with laughter and sometimes make me sad. Even though the story is crazy fun there are a lot of truths hidden into the storyline. There’s a saying that goes, “many a truth is said in jest”. I find that to be the case in this story. We’re so busy trying to prove that we’re fine when in fact we’re not. Why do we need to prove to someone else that our life is golden without them? They only person we need approval from is ourselves.
This book has everything you want; laughter, ridiculousness, smiles, tenderness, understanding, heat, and true love. Seriously, what more could you want? I don’t do spoilers so you’ll have to read this gem to be as taken in as I was by this treat of a book. I love Gabby but Rhett will steal your heart and you will want to be stolen!
So step away from reality for a little while and enjoy this book. You’ll be glad you did!

How can an author write a brilliant book that had me rolling with laughter and then write a second and third book in the series that has me laughing even more. Do yourself a favour grab all three of the books in this hilarious series just do yourself a favour don't read it in public because I guarantee you will laugh out loud and have everyone looking at you
Rhett and Gabby are hilarious together yes they face some tough times but doesn't everyone in life but somehow these two always seem to come out on top and their amazing repartee is the making of the book He is her ex boyfriends half brother and when she needs a fake husband he steps up but then things become oh so real that is until the ex returns Will what they have built be able to withstand him and I have to say I will never look at goats in quite the same way again

This is a rom-com must read! This may be Marika Ray's best rom-com to date and I loved her other rom-coms. From beginning to end this book kept me laughing with each individual character and their thoughts alone and conversations together. And the cast of characters surrounding Rhett and Gabby just wrapped this book up as one of the top rom-coms I have read. Yes there are some tough times in the book but it just makes for a better all around laugh out loud book. Plus there are goats, and who doesn't love a goat! Go and read this book now!

I’ve loved all the Reality of Love books, but this one is my favorite! Rhett is a fun-loving red-headed hottie and my new book boyfriend. Gabby is gorgeous, but has this crazy laugh and that alone makes her so relatable!
I’m a huge fan of text conversations in books, and theirs did not disappoint. And let’s talk about the 8,000 amazing names for a certain part of the male anatomy that Marika came up with. I have favorites. You’ll have to read and choose your favorites for yourself.

Another Amazing one from Marika. I love that I can pick up one of her books and feel carefree and happy the whole way through. This one was not any different and I actually laughed out loud several times while reading. I loved the main character and Gabby. Her struggles were relatable in that we have all had those people who get in our heads and make us doubt ourselves. Amazing Story and a definite read, if you want to smile and read a fantastic story.

Hot steamy and laugh out loud funny!
I have loved the first 2 books in this series and book 3 did not disappoint. I loved everything about this book from the lovable characters, kooky side characters and the messages the story conveyed about relationships and friendships. Rhett and Gabby were perfect for each other and I loved their story!

I love Gabby and Rhett! Haha such a great story. Fake relationship turns into real feelings. What's not to love?! I enjoyed this book to the fullest. Highly recommend.

Honestly, who doesn’t love when a fake relationship turns into an all consuming, hot as hell, love connection worth envying?! This couple is hot, and damaged, and hilarious, and, oh gosh, super freaking sweet! I loved every minute of this book, and these characters were absolutely amazing. A must read romantic comedy with all the things you could possibly crave in a completely unforgettable love story. I could fangirl on for days!! Rhett and Gabby were meant for each other!!

Only problem, she doesn't have a househusband. So put an add out for one. She sits in a coffee shop interviewing wanna be fake househusbands. Aside from the guy with three nipples, she runs out of options. Fortunately for her, the very handsome guy at the table next to her overhears everything and signs up for the job.
Rhett is currently couch surfing looking to start his own business. A surfer boy throughout, his dream is to create custom surfboards for people. He's listening to this gorgeous girl next to him talking to random men about pretending to be a fake househusband. Sounds like a great gig, he's signed up. But of course, there is one little problem. Her ex is his step brother. Let the fun begin!

Oh my gosh, I haven't laughed this hard while reading a book in quite some time! I've been a bit of a book slump, but between the instant connection between Rhett and Gabby, the hilarious moments, and the fake romance trope, (which happens to be one of my favorites!) This book has everything to make a wonderful romantic comedy!
I won't spilt the plot, but trust me when I say this book will make you laugh, as well as make you swoon. I loved the fact that Rhett was younger than Gabby, but still *got* her on every level possible. I also loved the gave that she was the one with money, instead of her male love interest. We rarely see that in romances, and I loved it!
While this book was quite light hearted, it did seal with some very emotional aspects that may have brought a few tears to my eyes. If you like insane chemistry, hilaruous one liners, and goats, this is the boom for you!!

Marika has done it again - this book has main characters that jump off the page and beg to be your new best friends. She writes the perfect balance between fantasy & believability - Not to mention laugh out loud moments throughout. I was so excited to read Gabby’s story!

This book had me giggling and laughing the entire time. I’m totally in love with Rhett! Gabby is the snarky, rich bff from Mom Com. Her good for nothing ex boyfriend of five years cheated on her. She is now going on a reality show and needs a live in boyfriend. After interviewing all day and coming up empty a hot looking man at the next table in the coffee shop who has been watching the last hour of interviews makes her laugh and applies for the job. The cameras start following them the next day and she finds out he is her ex’s half brother. This book has rich people with too much time on their hands, a professional hugger, a goat farmer, hilarious goat wrangling, a birth, hot steamy scenes and two people falling in love.

OMG, I thought the first book was funny, I don’t know how she did it but this had me giggling a lot and I mean a lot. To the point my kids were giving me funny looks, stuff them I say!
I loved it. These two had chemistry just oozing out of them. Then add the extra cooky characters and the goats and this book will have you giggling and smiling for days after you have finished reading it. Some of those scenes will stay with me forever and I will still be giggling over them.
So if my gushing hasn’t helped, just go on and get yourself a copy. You won’t regret it. It will leave you smiling and dreaming of dimples and goats and hopefully not at the same time. LOL

I laughed so much reading this one, I just about died!!!! I have only read a few books by this author but her and RomComs are perfect!!
The use of words her characters (well Marika Ray) to describe body parts or scenes in the book are HILARIOUS!! I had to read a couple of excerpts to my daughter and she was like that was pretty good! (She's 19 so back off)
I can't recommend this book fast enough if you need a good LOL and I mean literally gut workout laughing. Marika is my go to for a good RomCom in the future. So if I am feeling down I know my day will get brighter reading one of her books.
