He thought he could break them apart, but he only made them stronger.

Pushed to the limit by secrets and lies, my Lost Boys and I are finally fighting back. We’ve been through hell and deserve our happily ever after, but when an enemy raises the stakes, we have to trust an old ally to find Wendi in time, or else we will lose everything.

I have to do this for Belle, for my Boys and their future, even if it means sacrificing everything I wanted.

I'm Ever Darlington and this ends now.

EVER AFTER is the exciting conclusion of Lost Boys of Neverly Prep series, a dark and dirty fast build/medium burn contemporary RH academy romance based loosely on the characters from Peter Pan. All the players are over 18 and everything will finally make sense!

The final part and it did not disappoint. Peter proves how vile he really is, loyalties are questioned and time is running out.

I felt sorry for Luc, I honestly thought he’d end up as one of them but nope. The guy gets shot, gives Ever a home and still gets no love. Give the guy a happy ending already. Will defo be reading the novella.

X finally gets his time to shine and show what’s beneath the happy exterior. Some steamy sex scenes with a little exhibition throwing in. Oh boy, the car! 😳

Baz and Riot still have their parts, although Riot’s possessiveness got a little out of hand but thankfully Ever knows when to put her foot down.

I liked the end and enjoyed the trilogy overall. I’m happy with the way things ended.

I really enjoyed this trilogy and cannot wait for Luc's story. The heroine was as ballsy as can be and it was her spitfire personality that really brought these boys to their knees, but they needed her just as much as she needed them. I loved the suspense aspect of the trilogy and it wasn't overdone like some I have recently read.

There was some inconsistency with this book that really bothered me since it was a huge point in the story. For most of the first half of the book it focused on something that she was keeping from the guys. Well, in the previous book she told them all about it!! Yet with this one I guess that didn’t happen??
I even went back to the book just to make sure I wasn’t wrong, and I wasn’t.
So that really, really bothered me cause it threw the book off for me.
Other than that it was a good story. I honestly don’t know if I want to read the next book or not. A part of me is curious about their college days, will they propose, or what, but then I’m wondering if I should just head on to another series by another author. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I´m currently reading (17% of the book), but I can´t get over the fact that Ever is thinking about telling the guys about the folder Peter gave her WHEN SHE ALREADY TOLD THEM AT THE END OF THE LAST BOOK.

Sooooo disappointed! There are so many timeline errors. Also, the plot just kinda fell apart. I mena, I work in the criminal justice system and even when I suspend my belief because, yes it's fiction adn I get that, but this was waaaaay beyond making sense even in the realm of fiction. I mean first of all, with all the legal/criminal things going on in this series there should be some consistencies with them, but no. In the first two it made sense, but then about half-way through everything just kind of goes crazy. Also, by the third book there has got to be some kind of trust between Ever and her harme but they all seem to always believe everyone else before letting her say her piece. To be fair she did keep some things but nothing that justified their instant anger and abandonment of her. This was done repeatedly and it got old real quick. Eventually, everything just added up till I lost interest in what was going to happen to the characters.

This was really good. I love Ever and her relationship with The Lost Boys. I was super invested in this story because I love these characters so much. I think this is one of the most underrated reverse harem series that I've ever read.

The story finished with a lot of loose ends that could have been resolve in another installment. We never even got to hear the story about the guy Ever was with before, so that feels like a major unresolved point. There was also a plot point that was resolved in the previous book, but was completely changed in this one. A bit confusing to say the least. Also, this is by far the weirdest “retelling” I’ve ever read. Original in that aspect, but kinda meh over all. I did finish the story in only a day or two, so that has to count for something.

*CORRECTION*
I guess there’s another book!! I’m going to go read that and then come back to this review after. Stay tuned!

After a lengthy delay this beauty was finally in my greedy hands.

I cant believe its over! Im sad and disappointed thats the end of ever and the lost boys (hopefully we see them in Lucs novella?). I love this series! I love the twist on a classic story! It was great to see that a good guy we saw when we were tots can in fact be the bad guy! The characters progression was well written and it definitely had its tear jerker moments! I really liked how the conflict was resolved and definitely left you holding your breath through out. I will say however i didnt like how the book was too short! I could live in this world for way longer. Kuddos L E Bross! Amazing job! Cant wait for Luc’s story!

I really love the theme and how the author was able to infuse as much of the Peter Pan fantasy all throughout the series.

The entire time I was waiting for Peter to be the hero of the book, as it normally is the case. And I kept overthinking all the twists that the author was about to surprise us with to make sure it happened. I was pleasantly surprised with how it actually ended.

I love Riot, X and Baz. And I really loved Luc too. I need more reference pics of these guys other than the one pic on the author’s FB group!

Anyway, found a few errors/typos in the book (listed in my notes). Still a 5-star for me!

I fell in love with these characters from the first book and have absolutely loved reading their story and anxiously waiting for their happy ending. I finally got my ending and it was AMAZING! There are so many things you don't see coming thrown at you in this book and you wonder how they'll ever get their HEA. Which I wanted so very badly for them! They finally learn they are stronger together and that they have to rely on trust and each other, and maybe that is the key to everything. You will absolutely love this book and the ending to Ever and her guys story!

What will you give to have what you don't think you deserve?

We find Ever just as torn and broken as when we left her last. Or is she? You see some things take time to learn and Ever is a smart girl. Will Peter win? Will Ever get her sister and her boys? Is there really a happily ever after in Ever's future? Some costs are just to high. Happy reading Y'all 😘

Fun series and interesting twists and turns

Def. worth the read. Character development is good, story is interesting and descriptive. Really enjoyed reading this series. It’s better than many of the other new releases in this same genre.

Bitter Sweet

Can’t believe this story has come to an end. I feel like I’m invested and need more! I am so glad Ever got her happily ever after with her guys. They are pretty amazing... still think they should add Luc to the mix to round it all out! Loved this so much!

I am totally satisfied by that conclusion. Ever and her lost boys get pretty intense in this one. Lots of frustrating and heart wrenching moments but overall love how it finished. A great read.

Ever, Riot, Baz & X (Book 3 of 4)

This is a dynamic series. The books need to be read in order and books 1 & 2 end on cliffhangers.

Character and place names are based loosely on Peter Pan.

I instantly recognized the narrator from Boys of Brayshaw High series and the dynamics between the characters are very similar, with an RH twist.

Reverse Harem
Teenage Romance
Bullies-Lovers

There is more to the series on my TBR:
Hooking Up Book 3.5 (Luc's novella)
Never Again Book 4
These are currently available on KU but not on Hoopla.

My Hoopla badge is for audiobooks I listened to for free thanks to my local library. I don't use this badge often but most of the books I read are available on KU

The story and plot were good, but it went wrong with the execution. Sad to see this series go to waste. The book had a lot of plot holes and unexplained IMPORTANT parts until the end of book 3, This made book three more disappointing since I was looking forward to these answers since book 1. This trilogy could have been compiled into one book 🥲 enjoyed the book, but it could have been more. Also, I don’t get why the author constantly tries to push Luc to the scene when she’s not going to make him part of the harem?? It just added to the unnecessary jealousy and OM drama 🙄

Im probably nit-picking but I couldnt finish this book.. And it is because I dont understand how an author could forget details from their own book... Chapter 14 of book 2 Ever tells the boys about the envelope Peter left her but in chapter 1 of book 3 she says that she wants to tell them but now wasn't the right time... ummm you already told them... Plus it was pretty obvious from the start that Peter was the villain...

The perfect ending

The end to Ever and her boy's story was perfect! L.E. Bross did a great job of tying up all the loose ends while still keeping the drama high. She takes us on new twists in turns in this finall book that really brought out the angst and still told a great love story. Definitely at the top of my favorite academy reads. Definitely check out the whole series

AModern Day Classic

This book has been taken to new places for excitement and
romance. The play from bits of Peter Pan make this fun and exciting. Awesome characters and writing. Loved the spirit and surprises in this series.

Excellent!

What a great final book to this awesome trilogy. Plenty of intrigue, betrayal, deception, and if course, love. Ever and the List Boys, plus friends fought for truth and freedom against a powerful and evil for in Peter Panchard, the LB adopted father. Well worth reading this excellent seties.

I’m hoping this picks up exponentially cause so far I’ve found the series a little lacking to be honest. There is just something missing.

Yeah okay this got a lot more interesting.

But I am leaving the series here we got a HEA and I’m contented with that!
