I was enjoying this with all its violence and gore but then just when I was really getting into it near the end the book had a sharing scene!
It’s ironic that in books I can handle dark themes but I just can’t handle the hero being with another woman even if it was the h that instigated it. To me sharing is not caring and it totally turned me off the main couple. Now instead of remembering the book all I can think about is how much H enjoyed sex with another woman that wasn’t his beloved heroine. Dark books can be excellent without the need to have sex with other people and it always disturbs me more when it’s the guy having sex with another woman. To be honest I really didn’t see a point in that scene and in my humble opinion didn’t need it when so much other stuff was happening. Completely ruined the book for me and I actually feel gutted as I was actually enjoying it!

This was a brillant follow on book from the first.
I was hoping to see more of Ebony and Jett than we did, especially with how book 1 ended.
In saying that was nice "seeing" yet another female kick ass and take back control of her life.
Yet again many bodies hit the floor, by either her hand or by those trying to prove their worth.
Look forward to seeing who the author picks for the next queen to rise in the underworld.
Definitely a must read for those wanting a read full of fierce women.

This is intense and twisted and kind of freaky scary. This is one really messed up family you don't want to mess with. You don't know who to trust. But boy, is it good. Like freaky good. You want to read it without distractions if possible so you don't forget who is doing what and why.

I read and reviewed a copy of this book.

I absolutely loved book one, Mine Forever, so have been eagerly awaiting this second book in the Deadly Women series. I can honestly say I loved every bit of it and the wait was truly worth it.

Presley Witt has arrived back in the city of Sydney and planning to make a name for herself. She certainly does in a spectacular way! Being a part of the underworld was her life for many, many years until it wasn’t- she then found hell on Earth.

I am a little scared of how the mind of this author works; it’s dark, dangerous, deceptive and darn brilliant. She certainly understands how to kill off characters in creative situations as well as build up the tension in a scene that makes for an exciting read.

I have to say straight up I really liked Presley. I liked her sensational strength, determination, her ‘take no hostages’ manner and willingness to go through with every plan. I also liked Lennon Fulton, her lover and second in charge. His dedication to Presley is one hundred percent but he has a heart too. He’s an alpha but willing to submit to his Queen- an extremely rare feature in a character however it works. It was fun meeting up with the characters from book one, especially Ebony. 😂 Equally it was great meeting new characters too.

I’m not going to give any more of the storyline away because you need to read Havoc. It’s early in the year but the top of my favourite books for 2020 and will be hard to beat.

3 1/2*
Presley killed her father Gideon the build up to this outcome has been there for ages.
Lennon was her first love but her father had him removed, she’s still unclear what happened to him.
She’s back with leading the family in mind but who can she trust?
Her & Lennon’s return have you on edge for the story & conclusion.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

I'm thrilled that I was given the opportunity to read this book because it was simply brilliant.

It was very twisted and intense. Sometimes a bit terrifying and I enjoyed every single word.

I don't know how it's possible that I've never read this authors work before but I can promise that I will definitely be checking out her other books ASAP!!

Loved it! A well written book with a good story line! I’m hoping there’s more books like this from this author! I do love a good book with a strong woman as the main character and Presley was definitely that!

Another AWESOME addition to the Deadly Women Series.
This book is Presley’s story.

Loved Presley...She’s a lady who knows what she wants, and will do anything to achieve it.

*This book is just as dark and twisted as book 1. So not for the faint hearted. If you are a lover of dark romance I highly recommend *

I was really enjoyed book one and was so excited for book two. And let me tell you that Kate did not disappoint !! This was definitely a female kick a$$ book that’s for sure. Presley, wow, the determination, grit, strength, hatred, balls to get done what she wanted was astounding !! I absolutely loved her ! I hate what she had to go through for years and years but it made her the kick a$$ woman she became. I just can’t believe what —-/—- did to her on more than one occasion. I soooo wanted to take that person out on my own. This family, the whole family, is truly messed up. The saying blood is thicker than water definitely and I mean definitely didn’t apply to this family. Lennon, even after being betrayed by Presley, was devoted to her 100%. He truly loved her ten years ago and still does. To prove his loyalty the way he did took strength and emotional steel. Let’s just say Presley can make an entrance and shake things up or cause Havoc. Ohhh I sooo cant wait to see what’s in store next and who the next kick a$$ woman is gonna be.

I received this as an ARC for my honest and voluntary review.

Presley and Lennon

This is book two of this series but can be read as a standalone, although the characters from book one do make an appearance and it is more enjoyable knowing their story. This story is told in first person POV by bothe the MMC and MFC. People with triggers, be sure to read the warnings since this is a dark romance, there are several types of triggering content.

Presley and Lennon are perfect for each other. I love that they get a second chance together after all the years apart. There were times where I felt Lennon was trying to turn Presley back into the woman she was before instead of fully accepting her for the better ruthless bada** bi*** she is now. Nonetheless, I love how he came to fully support her, be there for and do anything for his Queen.

There are a couple characters in this series that I would love to see have their own book. With this being my second book read by this author, I can’t wait to read more of Kate’s books to see what her dark imagination has and will come up with.

I honestly don't know where to begin with this review.

I have loved everything this particular author has written and Havoc is no exception.

Havoc is set in Sydney Australia in seedy underworld.

Presley was sent away from her family, her friends, her lover to be disposed of permanently, however someone sees a fire in her eyes that will not be extinguished and teaches and trains Presley up to be a 1 woman killing machine.

Lennon betrayed the family and was sent away, however the truth comes out when the Princess returns and brings down the King of The Underworld and takes her rightful place on the throne.

This was an amazing second book in The Deadly Woman series and I am on pins and needles to see what the author does for book 3.

I love a mafia story, and if the head of the family is a powerful woman then even better!!

Presley has taken the trauma she has been through and allowed it to mould her into the powerhouse she needs to be to take revenge on all that have wronged her.

Lennon was her first love, and they were ripped apart by her father. His devotion to her remains unwavering.

The delicious ways that Pres gets her revenge on various family members is fantastic and it was so fun to see the creative ways she could torture them!!

This an incredible and oh so dark interpretation of Girl Power and I have to say that I am here for it!!

How to create havoc. Presley certainly has the answer to that. She has returned home after spending ten years being tortured and trained by Jett and Ebony. She wants control of her father's syndicate and won't let anyone or anything stand in her way. Very bloody and violent, so be warned. Graphic sex scenes as well. There is real fire between Presley and Lennon. This book certainly isn't for everyone, but I liked it.

Book two in the Deadly Women series. This can be read as a stand-alone but don’t do it. Go and read book one first as they are both excellent reads. I read this in one sitting and thoroughly enjoyed it.

In Havoc we get Presleys story. She has been through a lot but came out the other side as a force to be reckoned with. I was rooting for her all through the story.

I’m already looking forward to reading more from this author in the future.

This is yet another intense read from Kate Bonham and I thought it was incredible. This story was totally dark and twisted and I loved it. It may not be for everyone but if you love a strong leading heroine, one who knows how to take charge and command the men around her, this may just be the book for you.

Not for me

A twisted love story of sorts. Our main characters Presley and Lennon were torn apart by Presleys father Gideon. Gideon being head of this crime family. After years apart they are reunited and after finding some truths, Presley feels betrayed and wants revenge and to take over the business and territories. With Lennon at her side the two of them wreak havoc and leave a mass of casualties in their wake.

I didn’t feel a connection to Presleys character and Lennon just seemed like a toy for Presley to play with when the mood took her. I don’t know the full back story from this and felt it wasn’t explained enough and as I had not read the previous book . There was a lot going on in this story. So many different characters, I found it hard to keep track and felt slightly confused by it all.
