Sascha Dubois didn't think life could get much crazier, until, suddenly, it did.
With the whole world knowing about her unusual household of seven--can't forget Tin--and everyone wanting a piece of her and her men, Veronia is an unanticipated haven.
Within the confines of that kingdom, Sascha can come to terms with the new status quo, something she actually appreciates because now? She can slap the cow who dares ogle Sawyer while he's jogging, and that actress? Who had her paws on Kurt? Yup, no more.
Sascha's staked her claim.
But life has never been able to cut the Quint family any slack. With wedding bells in the distant horizon, along with the pitter patter of tiny feet, what can go wrong?
Everything.
Prepare for tears, laughter, and a love so strong, you'll be clutching your Kindle in HERS TO HOLD.
Author Note: It would be advisable to read the series in the following order for maximum enjoyment:
USA Today and International Best Selling Author Serena Akeroyd aka G. A. Mazurke is most known for her mafia and MC series set in the Five Points Mob Universe.
Avid reader of all things romance, she first started her career as a why choose author in both contemporary and paranormal.
She eventually made her way to MF romance where she found her groove with the O’Donnelly brothers, the Satan Sinners and most recently the Valentini Family.
In her back list you can find some MM, MF, MFM and Why Choose romances. HEA guaranteed!
When not writing Serena is either reading, traveling or coloring.
In her time with her men, she’d almost been mowed down by a car, had learned of a grand murder plot to push her off this mortal coil in an attempt to keep her past buried, inherited billions, had been stalked by a reporter, lost her beloved child in a traumatic stillbirth, and had lived with a serial killer roaming the walls of her house....
I liked Tin's storyline 😍😍 Chapter 10 "My home,” Tin muttered, then he peeked at me through white gold lashes. “Etta’s my home. She always has been.”🥰🥰
What a good end to the series. Devon was always my favorite. Then the added book of Tin and Alice was a wonderful surprise. I'm gonna miss this group, I loved their stories. This was one of my all time favorite RHs.
Where to start? Start at the beginning. Do not dive into Hers to Hold before having read The other 2 omnibus books in the Quintessence series Hers to keep, Theirs to cherish and then Theirs. And then embark on the emotional ride this series culminates to... This author is one of the most generous authors in romance, this books epitomizes that. It was everything we needed. I didn't expect the tears, the sorrow. I didn't expect to be punched in the gut. I was expecting happy tears for the happily ever after, and those sure did come. Serena Akeroyd knows her readers. She knows we'd be willing to follow her off a cliff. And she takes us there in the most grandiose of fashion. We are the Delma to her Louise, except we don't die, we revel in the greatness and cherish her books for the unique experiences they are. ❤
I'm sad I will never read this for the first time ever again. But I am so happy I get to reread it as often as I want and need! A few books in your life travel with you through out. Quintessence and to a certain extent Theirs, will be that for me. I hope it will be for you too.
What can one say about this long awaited book but OMG! I can honestly say that it was well worth the wait. Serena Akeroyd wrote such a complex character that it was easy to love him. There is so much to love about this book I don't know where to begin. We saw conflict, sadness and happiness, all while not knowing what was going to happen in the beginning all the way to the end. I laughed a lot at certain antics and cried when there were uncertain or flat out sad times. I loved the second part where we got a look into the future of Devon's shadow little Tin and his true love. I was surprised at many points mainly about events that happened before we picked back up. It was no surprise as to who Tin was soul mates with since he and Alice (his Etta) were so close growing up. However it starts out with a bang and once again I loved how it was written especially when her parents find out about Tin and Etta. Once again she made me laugh and cry, but didn't leave you hanging without a HEA. I definitely recommend this book for your TBR, must read complete series for this book to make sense.
I ADORED the series as a whole and I spent days binge reading it. I almost threw my tablet a few times I’m rage, sobbed like a baby, and blushed at the hot scenes. Overall, it is a series and an experience I will never forget and has honestly become one of my favorite RH series to date. BUT, this part of the series let me down. I love the author but the way she skipped so much time constantly and then made half the book about Tin did not settle well with me. I was attached to these characters and although I liked their ending I WANTED MORE! I wanted closer and detail on some things. There were parts of the series that was never brought up again. I don’t like it when an author makes you fall in love with characters and read vigorously to discover what happens only for you to get a rushed and not fitting ending. I will recommend this series and author to anyone but I will warn them that this installment was disappointing! I am not trying to be mean. I just know I like warnings for series this long. If your reading this to see if you want to start it, drop everything and read it. Just don’t have anything planned the next few days!
While I loved loved this series, the way she chose to end this was weird. It jumped to sometime in the future and covered next generation and other characters, who I really didn't care about. This should have been in a crossover novella that linked this series with Theirs
Did I miss something? Who was the father of the babies? Also, it would have been nice to see what happened in Russia with the grandfather. I loved Sawyer parents. Overall it was OK.
I love this author's books. And this one did not disappoint. The story took some interesting twists and turns. I recommend all of Serena Akeroyd's books.
I don't know what to say exactly. I mean I loved half of this book. It was funnt, it was heart wrenching and gosh they went through a lot. I have to say I hate hardcore sickness in books. I want to run away but as I was extremely invested into this story I kept reading and it wasn't that bad.
Somehow on half way through I felt everything went downhill for me and I cannot put my finger on it why.
It was nice to read about Tin and Alice. How they were as toddlers kind of gave a hint that they might me an item.
So to sum up- I liked this series, it was fun it was sometimes OTT action happening but as I loved all characters I just forgave it.
The books were great. I loved all the characters. It is a great author that makes you go through all the emotions. Good and bad. I struggled through some parts because they hit close to home but I also felt connected as well. I am glad I pushed through the story and got my HEA.
When you start a series, you do so to pass the time, to enjoy a break to yourself. I don't think anyone ever sets out to become fully invested in fictional characters.
But.... from the very beginning of Quintessence, through Queen Perry, back to this final book. That it's exactly what happens. I can't tell you when it will happen, just know before you finish Hers to Keep, you will be fully invested as if you are one of them. You will fall in love, be hurt, angry, ready to tear your hair out, but love them over and over again.
With this final installment we are given the closure we need even if we dont necessarily want it. We get a glimpse into the future, we are given the chance to celebrate life with those we have come to hold so dear.
Step inside and see how life turned out for Sasha and her guys, See how life in Veronia turned out. Step inside and see just how two of our favorite worlds will stay forever intertwined.
The Queen Diva has done it again and shown the world exactly why she is the best!
You go on such a journey with these characters that you just can't possibly see how it could end. I am sitting here, at a loss for words trying to write this review. There could not have been a more perfect way to wrap up this story. The time jump to Tin and Alice really helped to just tie everything up in a nice little bow. Even though I am still so invested in the characters and their stories and lives, and I am now invested in Tin and Alice, I can truly put this story down with a happy sigh. The end of their story felt so real and not at all like fantasy. The fact the Serena made them all human (not human ad is the paranormal vs. Non paranormal way...but in the real life sort of way) made the end of their story that much more bittersweet. She didn't give them a fairytale happily ever after, she gave them a real life one. It was the best way to end the amazing journey we took with characters. Absolute perfection. Read Hers to Keep, Theirs, Theirs to Cherish, then Hers to Hold. You will NOT regret it!!!
What can I say about this book. I have waited a while to finish the story of Sasha and her men. Devons story has been highly anticipated by myself, and I absolutely adored it! There are moments in this book where the heart strings are being pulled and you will cry, but there is so much Love! And that is truly what this entire series has been about. A giant roller coaster that will bring to light the hear aches of reality into your world with so much love that you fall head over heels for Sasha and her men. And the future jump of the story as well, such heart felt moments that if you've read this series you will see how it has came to pass. From one day you have a best friend to a love that is truly unforgettable. These are the books I love and adore and Serena will take you on the ride you just hate to end. I'm sad to see this series end but will be reading it over and over in the future!
I’ve waited a long time for this and WOW was that worth the wait. I’ve come to love these characters and the journey that we’ve seen them go on and Serena delivers with the conclusion. I laughed, cried, and just outright loved it all. Serena gave the Quintessence gang the ending they deserved and it was beautiful. The second half of this book was unexpected but I’m so glad it was written; I was hoping to hear more about these characters after they were grown even if it was a brief snippet into the future but what we were given was so much more. When I started that first chapter and saw whose perspective it was, I squealed with excitement. This has been the perfect ending to a perfect series that I’m sad to see come to end, what a journey it has been.
I absolutely loved the whole series. It made me cry it made me laugh to the point my family was like are you okay lol. I loved all the characters. It is definitely one i will read over and over.
I love Sacha and her guys. I have gone through the ups and downs of their relationship, the good and the bad. I have fallen for their family and Devon is a particular favorite. I love how literal he is and how he loves with a passion that even he doesn't understand at times. But his devotion to his family is fierce and he will do everything to protect them. This book made me laugh, made me cry and broke my heart into a thousand pieces only to rebuild it again. I love the grown up Tin and how fierce he is in protecting those he loves. This book is absolutely perfect and though I will always want more about these characters, is the perfect ending to this series.
It was so good! Better than good! Oh. I knew Devon's story was going to be an epic conclusion but just wow! Twists and turns galore. And thank you so much for Tin's story. What an unexpected treat. I'm both full of adrenaline and super tried. Like I've risen a roller coaster all day, which is kinda true since I read all three collections in less than 24 hours. I'm taking a nap and then searching for my next read. Again Serena thank you for another amazing book!
The book was a roller-coaster with unexpected twist, but so is live. Great way to end this series and nicely wrapped up with the next generation. I always suspected that and it nice to know they are loved. Loved it and will revisit the series in the coming years.
This series the Perry series the quintessence series finally came to an end and there were all the feels. Every. single. one. Not going to lie there were so many tears shed reading this. I love this ending I feel like if the author wants she can tell us more but if she doesn't that's ok it was absolutely brilliant.
I loved this book so much. It was worth the wait and was so much more than I thought it would be. Serena outdid herself. All of her books are better than the last. I can't wait to see what she come up with next. This book gave me all the feels and was a phenomenal ending.
One of my all time favourite series and what a way to end it!! Cannot recommend reading the entire series from start to finish enough, but and I’m sorry there’s a but! I’m a little saddened that it wasn’t a longer last book although the surprise switch was a very happy surprise it kind of highlighted the fact the main story was shorter but again highly recommend it!!
I am going miss them So.Much. This author writes reality. Some of the events in this trilogy have been very unexpected and unusual in a romance story of any kind, however, she wrote to how life is and can be and yet was kind enough to leave us with a happy ending and a complete story. Thank you Ms. Serena Akeroyd. You are a definite must read.
Would have liked a bit more of Tin's siblings - who their biological fathers were, and how the family dynamics changed as they came along. A little more Sean in Tin's story would have been nice too.
Also, I'm not really a fan of BDSM, but I do like how this author incorporated Sasha's psychological need and how she used it as a coping mechanism.
I am excited to read it and apprehensive to finish it. I did not want to say goodbye to this family it feels like I seen them grow snif snif. I highly i cannot stress enough how highly I recommend it. Download it buy it gift it and don’t forget to review it. Loved love love it
I absolutely loved all three books in this series. I love books that make me laugh and cry, I did a lot of both. My favorite father was Devon even though I liked all of them. I'm going to miss all of them but loved the way you ended the story. Written by Cindy
Not only do we get to see our favorite quintet of love grow and age as their story grows private, we see their children come forward and find their own lives and love, specifically Valentin, or Tin. As always there is action, and bittersweet that makes the love all, the more precious. I just find this series so absolutely lovely
I am in love, with all five men. Sasha is a great character too, of whom I am so jealous, I felt as though I was with them, living breathing the story. I didn't want the story to end.
You are awesome author Serena Akeroyd! Can't wait to read your other books, you have a life time fan :)
