This was slightly better than the second book in the series. I found Ascher’s powers to be quite interesting as she tried to get water to boil and freeze, and then she started to levitate! I was a little upset that Elliot went missing. I hope they find out what happened to him! Lord Blackthorn sounded a bit like a therapist unfortunately, but I was impressed about the whole time-travel part of the storyline!
