Iron Dogz MC #3

Black Heart And Red Redemption

Rate this book
Tori
Running home to lick her wounds had seemed like a good idea at first. She needed to heal after major surgery and grieve the loss of her best friend and her career.
And coming home to Cape Town would distance her from her old life.
She didn't expect boredom to set in so soon or to lead her straight into trouble.
Or that her troubles would throw her upon the mercy of the Iron Dogz MC and the one man she had to avoid at all costs.
Years later she could still hear his threats, and they still terrified her.
She had to stay hidden, but the fates, those old bags, had a different idea.
Beast
As his club's enforcer he crossed the line into darkness all the time. He welcomed the darkness into his cold black heart so as not to feel the emptiness of a loss suffered long ago. A loss he was responsible for.
His little girls are the only bright spots in a dark life. He would do anything for them. Fighting his slutty ex for sole custody after discovering they were being abused has him treading very close to the line. A line he dare not cross. Not right now anyway. His focus is on his children and club business takes a back seat for a while.
Until the day he's back at the table and he hears her name.
The girl he never forgot. The girl he drove away.
She was back and no longer a girl.
She needed club protection. She needed him.
He was never going to let her go.

Happy and sad.....

I'm a happy reader because I got another book in this amazing series......
Loved all the POV's in this book. Just a little reminder I believe you need to read in order for this series. Loving the grit, hot 🔥AF sex scenes, hot alpha males , strong females, the unraveling, twists and this brilliantly done storyline.
Oh the sad because now I have to wait for the next installment....So hey Rene get to writing I can't wait.
I highly recommend this series.

*** I was gifted with a copy of this book by the author for my honest review. ***

This book was Beast and Tori's story. Beast and Tori had a history, they were in love once which did not end well. After seeing one another again after so many years brought back good and bad memories from their past.

The story is a continuation from the previous book, although it's a standalone and a different couple. There is still a lot of questions that needs answers with regards to the plot in this series. I know the next book is about River and Ice's marriage but I hope we'll get a few answers with regard to the Organization.

What I love about this series so far, is that the plot gets better and better and it keeps you guessing as to what's going to happen next.

Let me tell you this is an amazing series so far and would recommend you definitely start with the first book.

Ms van Dalen is a wonderful author with a talent for writing amazing stories. All her books is well written and the plots are very much enjoyable.

not enough & then too much …

What I liked:
1. Kid
2. Sam
3. Lots of storyline
4. Twists and turns in the story.
5. Lots of action going on at times.

What I didn’t care for/like/ or bothered me/
1. Too much going on.
2. Couple doesn’t even get face to face time until chapter 12.
3. Couple don’t really have much of a storyline together.
4. Club issues take up most of the book over couples story.
5. Too many other POVs.
6. Too many other storylines happening.
7. The recycled plot of a brother being drugged, used, and raped without their knowledge.
8. Club whores once again ruining the club and nothing truly gets fixed even though Hawk claims he will end it. What happened to Ice’s rules from the last book?
9. Way too many questions left unanswered.
10. Too many characters fall off the pages. We still don’t know what happened to Raj from book 1. Some other characters never get a full closure for the reader from the first two books either. Jane somehow magically gets away every time. No one can find the old hag. Dominick drops off his very important person then after a follow up call he drops of the pages and never checks on Tori again.
11. Kid is protective of Tori but even that stops being a factor and we miss their friendship after he claims her as a sister.
12. Beasts kids are around but he rarely spends time with them or Tori. He’s too busy with work for the club.
13. Too many side stories are glossed over or summarized. Oh, and what happened to Slim? They save her then we don’t know much about her afterwards? No follow up to the men strung up in her garage for the cops to find.
14. I didn’t care for Beasts wanting to sit around the strip club after he’s got a woman to see women dancing while he has a drink before they head out from the short mission to the place.
15. Never felt any romance between the couple.
16. She shouldn’t have taken him back so fast.
17. I felt bored a lot of the book and skipped around a lot before going back to finish it in order.

Review.

You just did it, you made me do stuff I don't do. LOL. I loved Beast from the start and niggled at you about him and his dark tale. So thank you from the bootom of my heart for bringing him up and out of the shadows.

This book grabbs you from the start, by the throat and it leeds you down dark and gritty shadows.
I giggled and my toes curled at some places, I was in awe at the tale you spun. I hated and loved Beast he has a Dark side that I dont completely agree with. He has a pentiont for violence that gutted me. But this is His road to Redemption and he stepped up to the plate.
His Tiny Dancer is a force to be reckoned with and she sertainly guided him to His Red Redemption.

I love the fact that the world is introduced to South African Culture through this series and I can relate to so many things. I love that you bring current related issues in your work the Springbok Win was awesome and our Gorgeous country.

The current issue's you raise of sex and human traficking is a great concern all over the world. Gender based violence and child neglect. As well as the safety issues we in South Africa have to live with. Security cameras and high walls around our homes. As well as going green to lower our carbon footprint via a natural green pool. Was awesome.

I am putting this one on my current top 3 list.

Their is a editing issue but I know it will be corrected soon. Just a small hiccup.

Thank you for another great journey.

I can't get enough of this series by Author Rene Van Dalen. Seriously guys do yourself a favour and start reading this amazing MC series it has EVERYTHING !!!! .

This book in particular is very angsty I found it frustrating at first because I just wanted Beast to hurry up and find out that the woman he has always loved was right under his clubhouse roof. There were times I just wanted to dive into the book grab him by his sexy beard and drag him up the stairs and throw him into Tori's room lol but in saying that the build up to Beast finding out his Ladybug was there all along was very satisfying and I was able to let out the frustrating breath I didn't realise I was holding in for so long. Lol once again Rene knocked this book out of the ball park like the previous books in this series and I love how the characters in this book seem to become closer then the previous books. Definitely more familiar orientated . I love the continued story line and I still have heaps of questions that I hope will be answered in the coming books I'm so looking forward to reading those let me tell you.

Another great read

This installment is about Beast and his old flame Tori. He dumped her cruelly so she would continue with her ballet career and stay out of the MC world . During that time he had two daughters with a club whore who will make your skin crawl. There is a lot of story behind this situation and it’s not all cut and dry . Once Tori’s life is threatened and she is brought to the Iron Dogz compound nothing will stop Beast from claiming the love of his life . The only complaint I had in this story was that I had read at least 35% and Beast and Tori still hadn’t met yet . I don’t like when couples are separated.

I liked the kids and the heroine…but not so much the hero. Can’t pinpoint it…nothing bad as such about him just didn’t think he really loved her. Claimed her 10 years but didn’t do anything about…she just happen to come back under crappy circumstances.

Beast has made more mistakes then he cares to admit, especially with women. The one woman who was made for him he pushed away in such a way that she would never come back to him. He did it for the right reasons though and now he finds out she is back and has been hurt in ways he never imagined. He is not letting her go a second time, but he has to get his temperamental beauty on board with the plan while keeping her safe.

Tori heard something she shouldn't and it has put her in a world of hurt. Being taken to the Iron Dogz MC is the last place she wants to be especially when she realizes Beast is still a member. Can she guard her heart when the inevitable happens and he finds her?

This series just keeps getting better and better. This was a bit different then the first two as Beast and Tori have a history together. I like the direction the story is going and am anxious for the next book, normally I don't read the .5's in series but I am definitely picking this one up as I am worried I will miss something.

Beast!

Great third installment to this series by Rene. Beast and Tori were together when they were teens but circumstances got in their way. Now, years later Tori is back in Beast's club for help. Great read!

Sort of enjoyed this book but o think I've reached the end of the road with this series. I maybe would have continued if the series was on ku buy im not paying anymore cash for this series.

There were a few issues I had with this book that just spoilt it.

Tori is 5 foot and skinny like a ballerina so you can imagine just how tiny she is, beach is 6'6 and huge physically too. The size differential just kept throwing me off tbh.

I'm 5'4 and had a boyfriend 6ft and he towered over me and the neck ache from trying to kiss etc was a pain quite literally. Add in another 6 inches and beasts sheer size and I just find the two fitting together frankly ridiculous.

The crow- sorry her scenes are plain stupid and cringe worthy. Dc speaking with a scratchy voice and supposedly all scary with all the guys terrified of her cos she is so good at what she does! No she's not her scenes spoil the books!! Seriously nothing scary about her.

The story dragged our so much I almost dnf i was so bored!!

For a biker club theyre not very pro active - they could have come up with a plan n called in all their chapters to fight the bitch but instead sit passively whilst each attack occurs. Lurching from from issue to the next. And not ending people who've betrayed the club for a 1% club is just crazy.

Loved the different povs.

But alas my journey is finished with this series. I maybe would have continued if on ku but not a €2.99 a book. Not when there's so many great books on ku to read. Silly from the author not to put the series on ku as its not 4 star reads and im only paying cash for 4 star plus.

Well this book certainly kept you hanging but in a good way!! They really suited each other as at first I though the book was about kid and it didn't feel right but when I realised who would be involved with Tori I was eager for them to meet and beast to get his ass kicked for a what he did but the book was so well written I ended up not wanting that anymore. Was nice to have kid claim her as family to start but it seemed to taper off once Beast was in the loop about Tori which I'm not sure on the why as I liked that he claimed her as family as his family is so aweful and the same for Dominic as he seemed as though he felt more for Tori despite his emotionless state. It still has you on the edge of your seat all the way through and I had to stop reading bits at work when I had an extra five minutes or I'd still be sat in my car and in trouble with the office so with great reluctance I had to wait till I got home 😊 but I can say that usually these questions get answered in some way in the next book but I would of like to of seen some of the men realise how truly string you have to be to do what Tori does .. This one also opened up to new characters too which I'm looking forward too and keeps the old ones in so I'm also looking forward to DCs fight night cos they need a win in some capacity and loved Beasts little girls so hoping their mom gets her just desserts.. Just one bit that needs correcting though.. Our English Rugby team are still the best in my eyes and we'll get that cup back lol

Black Heart And Red Redemption (Iron Dogz MC Book 3) is a second chance romance featuring Beast and his ballerina Tori

Beast met his girl years ago when he was a prospect with the Capetown chapter... Tori was an aspiring ballerina who Beast ended up pushing away because he wanted her to follow her dreams instead of staying with him and probably end up resenting him.

A chance encounter years later causes a few fireworks and The Beast comes out to play!!! I didn't like Beast, thought he was mean, controlling and very bossy! That doesn't mean I didn't like the book, I loved it! And honestly for me to dislike a character demonstrates how well the author wrote and developed him so it's all good! Then again I loved Beast's interactions with his gorgeous daughters so maybe I liked him a little bit *wink wink*

I hate second chance romance books where the 'hero' is out doing everything and everyone while the MFC sits at home pining! Well I'm happy to that didn't happen' not this book... During their time apart Tori accepted the break up and embraced life. She was travelling, dancing and bumping uglies with her dance partner, something she reminded Beast of a few times which made me laugh out loud in parts, as it made him lose his mind :) Beast on the other hand had found it difficult to make meaningful connections and never forgot her.

The series thread is still developing really well.... onto book 4 now and I am looking forward to seeing how all this Harrison business pans out.

Another top read. Discovered these books a week ago and am already into book 4 and can't really put them down ... my job is suffering !!

As mentioned in earlier reviews RENÉ VAN DALEN has mastered the art of interweaving the characters and POV's from earlier books so you never lose track of what's happening with everyone.

Book 3 is Tori and Beast's story. A second chance love story in which Beast destroyed Tori when they were young to protect her and give her the chance to live her dream while destroying himself in the process. They of course find each other again but after both living through tragedies and controversy.

Van Dalen is not afraid to go into controversial subjects and I really appreciate the way she manages to make the female "bad guy" really bad.

Loved this story too.... onto 3,5

This series is getting very addictive! As I've said before, each book is better than the one before and for all intents and purposes I'm really just getting started on this series. Black Heart And Red Redemption is a dark book, if that's not your thing don't keep going. For me, I LOVED IT! This one just broke my heart for Beast. This poor guy has been through it in a lot of different ways and Tori's journey hasn't been the easiest either. Like  Beast, she seems to catch h*l^ from almost every angle. I love that this series, although it seems to focus on one couple, completely involves all of the characters. I'm still on the fence about Hawk but, DC appears to have tight reigns on him so I don't know. We'll see I guess. I also love that Tori already has ties to Pixie and DC so that already makes her Iron Dogz family. I can't to plow into the next book.

Tori witnesses something she shouldn’t - totally accidentally, but it puts her life in serious danger. Struggling with severe injuries that have had a catastrophic impact on her ballet career, she’s secreted away in the Iron Dogz compound to heal. However, what she fails to tell her protectors is that she has history with one of their members - the one they call Beast.

For all his gruff, single-mindedness, I adored Beast’s character. They way he was around his baby girls tugged at my heartstrings. His relationship with Tori was hard to swallow, at first, in some respects, I initially thought they weren’t at all suited to each other, but René proved me wrong.

Very good series continues

Beast and Tori have a past and they work hard to to fight for a future. The Iron Dogz continue to get attacked and members dying. Its getting to be a more sad series than enjoyable. I like a little dark but these poor people live in fear for the women and children. I know that's true in real life for some but I read to escape so I'm probably done with this series. I really do enjoy the writing and the characters so ill be tempted.

Another great addition to the Iron Dogz MC Series. This is book 3 in the series, and I recommend that you read these books in order. What a powerful story about redemption. Beast and his ladybug Tori met when they were younger, Beast ended their relationship to keep Tori safe and so she could follow her dream to be a ballerina. These two are apart for over a decade, and events lead them back together. This book has it all! twists, steamy scenes, and is beautifully raw. I highly recommend!!

Beast and Tori, book 3

Love this series and Book 3 has met all my expectations for an amazing MC story. Hot alpha biker with strong but injured woman who loves him. All the characters just bury themselves into your heart and you just want more....So glad this author was recommended to me. I love this series.

Lord have mercy, this book is not for readers who can't read anything dark. All I Know is I can't stop reading, it's epic, deliciously wicked. One thing I know when I read a book by author René Van Dalen is that I'm always happy and anxious for the next character to start bugging her. I really love this series, and there's nothing stopping

What a heartfelt read. So much drama and chaos surrounding the Iron Dogz MC at the moment, worse then ever before. Loved reading Beast and Tori’s story ❤️❤️❤️ even though it was a bit sad, they have a strong brotherhood, a strong family surrounding them. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beast let Tori grow so she could follow her career though it broke her heart. Now Tori's back, in danger and under the clubs protection butbdoes she need protecting from Beast within? Well written the story grabs your attention with a slow burning start, this second chance romance doesn't hold back with deep emotions, desires drama and more! A great addition to the series

Different but fun

Its different and You have to read the series to keep up. Its more an action almost soap opera series than a romance but I am enjoying it. Twists and turns I didn't see coming but when revealed I was like oh yea that's good.
