Sometimes we are looking for things and aren't really sure what they are - but when we find them, we get that Déjà vu feeling that tells us we found them at last. I was looking for something one day and wasn't sure quite what - and stumbled on Maythil at ResearchGate. And I watched a video in which Maythil discusses things that I had really wanted to know about - but hadn't known quite what to ask. I felt like I was sitting in a late 19th century Café in Paris, listening to one of the most amazing writers that once gathered around a bottle of absinthe to deconstruct reality into its essential pieces.

Beyond words. Maythil's brilliance doesn't just reside on linguistic gymnastics. He plays with the reader's mind. When you're reading a story of Methil (or Maythil), you're one of the pieces of the puzzle regardless of your knowledge! In Methil's universe, perhaps the unwritten words speak more! Nothing short of sheer genius! Methil's uncanny ability to bridge his scientific temper and the enigmatic Déjà vus (no idea how else to put it!) of life is what makes him a writer without equals.
മേതിലിന്റെ ജീനിയസ് ഭാഷയ്ക്കുമപ്പുറമാണ്. അത് പലപ്പോഴും വാക്കുകള്ക്കും വരികള്ക്കും ഇടയിലെ ശൂന്യതയില് പ്രതിഫലിക്കുന്നു! കഥ തീരുന്ന ഇടവും ജീവിതം തുടങ്ങുന്ന ഇടവും ഉച്ഛ്വാസത്തിന്റെ മൂടല് വീണ ചില്ലിലൂടെ എന്നതുപോലെ മാത്രമേ മേതിലിന്റെ സര്ഗ്ഗപ്രപഞ്ചത്തില് കാണാനാകൂ! ശാസ്ത്രപരമായ ചിത്തവൃത്തിയേയും, മനുഷ്യബോധത്തിന്റെ ഉപരിതലത്തിലൂടെ (ആഴങ്ങളിലേക്ക് കൂപ്പുകുത്താതെ) എങ്ങനെയോ തെന്നിമറയുന്ന ചില സ്ഫുരണങ്ങളേയും തമ്മില് അത്ഭുതകരമായി ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്ന അത്യുജ്ജ്വലങ്ങളായ സങ്കേതങ്ങളാണ് മേതില് എന്ന ജീനിയസിനെ അതുല്യനാക്കുന്നത്.
