Extremely well-researched biography of the great Hollywood actress, marred only by numerous typographical errors and some infrequent subjective maudlinities. The authors manage to make Hayward, a difficult and angry woman, a nevertheless fully human and rather understandable one. The level of detail is refreshingly deep.

Pros: So well researched and documented. Was rooting for Susan. Enjoyed the direct interviews of folks that were family or friends of Susan. Wonderful that so many photos could be included in this book, so fun to see them.

Cons: Not much, if anything.

Art work: 5 out of 5.
