He's hot as hell. He's my high school crush. He was my teacher. Her mouth is tantalizing. She's too sexy for her own good. She was my student. One night of torment and pleasure. Both their good fortune.
Renee Ericson is the author of More Than Water and the These Days series--After Tuesday, Forgotten Yesterday, and Deciding Tomorrow.
Originally from the Midwest, she now resides in a small town just outside of Boston with her husband and three children.
Most winters, Renee can be found skiing with her family on the slopes of the White Mountains. During the summer months, she likes to spend every spare minute soaking up the sea air at the beach. All those moments in between, she is talking to imaginary characters and caring for her children.
Fortune is a holiday novella from Renee Ericson. I enjoy her writing so much. Cameron and Lila's story was quick, easy, and steamy. I personally wasn't a fan of how it ended, but overall I liked the story itself.
HO-LEE-FUCK! I did not think this story was going to be as good as it was!
Instead of spending Christmas Eve with her family, Lila Pierce is out trying to find her way of coping with her family drama. Also out trying to find a way to cope with a new separation, Cameron Barnes runs into Lila. Things get hot and heavy and things turn into a very sexy night.
I love that this story was a quick and easy read. This story was unlike any that I have read. I absolutely loved the ending. No happily ever after and no running to 'the love of your life' Just hot, casual night of sex with no expectations. I LOVED IT!
