When asked about a painting of a family in an undersea bubble, Ethan Marston is reminded of one of his most dangerous cases. A daring rescue in a sabotaged seaside resort leads to a murder case involving a tangle of Chinese tongs, shady land developers, and eco-terrorists, leaving Marston and Holm to get to the truth.
Matt Lincoln has lived his entire life on the coast and he wouldn't have it any other way. A lifelong fan of Travis McGee, Magnum PI, and just about anyone who knows their way around a boat and a good cigar, Matt now lives where the sand meets the surf with his beautiful wife, a son who reminds him way too much of himself at that age, and an Irish Setter who he can never seem to tire out. Life is good.
This has been a good series to read. I actually came back to Kindle after I found I could not read his books anywhere other then here. Good action, enjoy the inclusion of General Aviation and Scuba, 2 things I can relate to and the way he tells the story. Needs some proof reading at times, but that is minor. Can’t wait till the next one.
Matt Lincoln writes a vey fast paced story which has multiple,, strands that all come together at the conclusion. There are ongoing themes, that link the books, which adds to the depth and develops the characters. In this kindle version there are a lot of typos. I don't know if the proofreading is done by computer app which may explain the minor errors. It does consistency from the enjoyment.
And my crush on Holm and Marston continues ! Rising Tide continues the nail biting action packed adventures that readers like myself have come to expect when we open a Matt Lincoln book. You will be telling your friends about Matt and hoping they too become avid fans
This is an excellent series. I have enjoyed the story arcs and character development. The only negative comment, which I only make from a proofreader’s mind, is the inappropriate use of the word “bring” when the author should be using the word “take”! Read this series, you will be glad you did.
Another great story. One of the best action stories in SW Florida authors. Definitely in Wayne Stinnett’s league. But.... seriously this author needs to invest in better proof readers and a spell checker!
But once again the action puts me up quickly with like non stop being the way this book went took a little longer to finish but as usual nobody got the girls and decreased is still out there Ciao from costs rica
Okay I am wondering if Ethan’s stories are going to point to his family situation, now that he is storytelling. I keep waiting for his wife to come to the bar and listen to his stories.
Could be a great series of what happens between the wedding and the retirement.
The story is good with a lot of twist, and who done it. But the proof reader/ spell checked should be fired. To many mistakes in all of the books, so far. Will be moving on to a different author.
Matt Lincoln is a very talented writer. This series keeps you wanting more. I can’t wait to start book 6. My only criticism if you could call it that, is that Matt needs better proof readers. Lots of typos.
Five stars Characters and plotlines are most engrossing. Loving this series. Always a thrill when a novel lives up to and exceeds expectations. Try this series from the beginning.
Not my favourite of the series but still a good read. Started out a bit slow but the end zoomed by. I thought Ethan might finally have found his woman, but alas, maybe next time. I absolutely loved the twist with Alice's dad being bad guy, I did not see that coming!

The tales of the Coastal Fury series are interesting and keep me going. I started with the first and am still engaged enough to want to read the 6th book. I just wish the one(s) proofing the books was more alert.
Another good story. He gets better with age. Hide some fun twists in the story lines but keeps you reading. I like the way he covers the other side of the drama. You sort of know what the other side is thinking. You. Won't be disappointed!
I love these books. Special Agent Marstan is looking into an underwater hotel that collapses. I f course, it's never simple and he always falls for some girl, but the book is exciting and very readable
Science of climate warming and tidal waters rising play big in the plot. As always lot of drama, action, and surprises. Another great read, moving on to the next story.
Continuation of the Marston & Holm series. Action packed as usual, set in locations known to me, which really adds to the visualisation set by Matt Lincoln. Cannot wait to read the next in the series.
A Miami hotel under construction collapses and Marsden and Holm with their diving skills happen to be able to rescue a couple of the victims. Their agency gets involved in the investigation and things are not as they seem. A great story.
This series has loveable characters, exiting stories and a fun format. The hero recites the action from his past to his contemporary friends. I look forward to more.
Lots of typos, misspellings etc, see marked by bookmark, highlight, and notes. It gets quite distracting because these are fun books, please fix for future readers.
