Loved it!!! This book has so many great stories in it. My favorites involved a zombie, a tree, and a baby dragon. If you are looking for something with a different holiday cheer, this is your read.

This is 13 short fantasy stories that have Christmas as the theme. Quite a feat, considering some of the stories have worlds where Christmas is called something else. I got this as a dollar deal on Amazon.

The authors are people I have never heard of before. Some of the writing is better than others. Unfortunately I'll probably forget all of these stories by tomorrow!

Great cover!

I actually didn’t finish this book. As described it’s a collection of stories and one would expect that some stories will be better than others. It’s just not resonating with me; and I found really one or two stories worthwhile. (Winter Garden the most cleaver) I just couldn’t force myself to continue as there are so many other books I’d rather give my time.

Very intriguing collection of short stories. Excellent way to find new authors. Reading these thought-provoking tales took me through a variety of emotions and kept me interested in what came next. There are some very ingenious scenarios. A pleasure to read an anthology so well written and well edited.
I will be watching for several of these authors.

I enjoyed this book. I felt a couple of stories didn't quite live up to the rest, but overall some great tales and I would read more from all of the features authors.

Prompt: was read for a 2022 challenge, but took me too long to finish.

Nice Collection

A range of stories so sure to be at least one that suits your reading pleasure, even if it isn't the holiday season.

It's hard to rate an anthology, so I'll just put here my favourites from the book: "Late To The Party", a funny rampage of a baby dragon; "The Faded Photograph", a remembrance of an old lover, very heartbreaking, made me cry; "FrankenSanta" just as absurd as it sounded, I loved it.

This book was written by many authors who were previously unpublished, and the writing shows that lack of experience in many stories. I highly recommend “Winter Gardens.” Most of the others I felt fairly ambivalent about, and a few are down right terrible. There were interesting ideas scattered throughout the tales, even in the ones I did not like. However, the amateur writing really brought the whole reading experience down for me. The cover art is gorgeous.
