If everything you were taught turned out to be a lie, could you trust the man you’ve been told to fear? Eden Cato is a Fae raised by her enemy–witches. They’ve concealed her in a skyscraper to protect her. There she stays without argument until a gorgeous, male Fae climbs her hair. Val Danville sees a building where it doesn’t belong, a building no one else can see. The last thing he expects is to find a blonde-haired beauty waiting for him at the top. When Eden’s world comes crashing down around her, the lies she’s been fed exposed, the only person she has to turn to is Val. Can he help her escape the clutches of the coven, or will she find her demise at the hands of those she thought cared for her? Can you–and Rapunzel–survive the latest Danville Brothers quest to right a world where truth isn’t as it seems? This book is perfect for fans of Casey L. Bond, K.M. Robinson, and Chanda Hahn.

*TW: this series has battles, and in turn death and blood*
This book centers around Val Danville (the full fae brother). I have to admit Val has never been my favorite of the Danville brothers but he definitely won me over in this book.
He's incredibly sensitive and gentle. And apparently he's wiggled his way into my ice cold heart.
If you enjoy retellings, frustrated/frustrating characters or a hot sensitive guy, then check out this book.
If you're looking for something with science, tiny font or nookie, look elsewhere my book loving friends.
*this is the 3rd in a 5 book series with a new novella, so 6 books. You should read the first ones before reading this one*
The characters were awesome!! I loved reading and getting to know Eden and Val. Eden was such a phenomenal character and so naive but also had such a huge heart!!
The storyline was very well written and kept me enchanted from beginning to end. It was a remarkable Rapunzel retelling and I highly recommend it!
