A malevolent dictator is bent on murdering an entire population of poor islanders in Thornton’s high action, adrenaline filled third novel.

Trying to deal with the pain of her parents’ killing and a broken relationship, lovely, enigmatic Dr. Hope Allred lives for her work. But when Clive Andrew, her ex-boyfriend and investigative journalist, contacts her from a Caribbean island pleading for her help, Hope leaves for the island, unaware of the dangerous consequences as the fate puts her in the path of a malicious dictator and his entire army.

Through splendidly developed, layered characters and gripping prose, Thornton creates a riveting thriller while exploring complex themes of moral ambiguity and sense of duty.

A plethora of fast-moving twists, sophisticated plot, and fascinating medical threads makes for a no-brainer when it comes to picking up a well-constructed action thriller.

Lovers of fast-paced, intricate action will be greatly rewarded.

A rollicking good story filled with endless twists and scenes of heart-pumping action!

Fast-paced, action packed, tropical thriller. These are the phrases that come to mind when I think about Robert Thorton's book, "Lethal Paradise". Thorton has written a reliable female character in Dr. Hope Allerd, who drives the story with her inquisitiveness, her passion, and her tenacity to do the right thing. I longed to see the story continue past the electronic draft and so I bought the e-book off Amazon so that I could enjoy it again, and again. Well done, Mr. Thorton.
