Rough Ride

Phew. What a wild ride!! Rough Ride, the latest in the fantastic Powertools: Hot Rides series will take you on quite a trip—one that’s definitely not smooth and calm. It’s anything but and I absolutely loved it!
Sevan is bound and determined to exact revenge—to the point where she’s hidden her identity, her gender for years. But she’s finally close, finally close to taking out the president of Wildfire. Especially with a little help from her friends—Ransom and Levi.
Ransom and Levi have been undercover, watching and waiting for the president of Wildfire to finally screw up, finally give them enough evidence to put him away for the rest of his life. And they’re so close—and get even closer when Sevan is added to their partnership. And while they’re getting closer inside the MC, they’re also getting closer as a trio.
Their connection, their attraction may just be what finally finishes the job or dooms them before they can even get started. They’re distracted—hell who wouldn’t be with all that lust and desire swirling around them. But they need to concentrate or they’ll risk everything they’ve worked for and their lives.

After the way Joy Ride ended, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Rough Ride to see just how Sevan aka Rivet, Levi and Ransom would not only bring down the Wildfire MC, but work their way through their own demons to find their HEA and it was intense. It gave me all the feels and left me feeling a little wrung out, but quite satisfied with how everything ended up.
Rivet, Levi and Ransom. These three were definitely explosive. All three have their fair share of demons to wrestle with and boy do they ride them hard and cause them to question their own guts, and hearts, but beneath all that doubt are three people whose hearts are a bit battered and bruised but quite golden regardless. Their journey to their HEA was a rough one, but an enjoyable one that had a couple twists and turns that I did see coming, but definitely kept me on my toes.
While all of the previous books in this series all had an element of suspense that kept me on my toes, this one probably brought out the most anxiety when it came to this trio because so much was on the line for all of them, but it was totally worth it and I loved how the Wildfire MC storyline in the end. This one is the last of this grouping, but we aren’t saying good-bye to the Powertools world and if that little tease at the end is any indication, we’re in for one heck of a ride!

This was a great book but I think I need to start at the beginning of the series.
This story was intense. The characters chemistry off the charts. The danger and angst was well written and you just had to be rooting for our main characters.

Again, this MMF menage story is very well written and aptly titled; our protagonists have to go through a lot of emotional and dangerous situations.

This was such a terrific book. I loved the intensity of Levi, Sevan and Ransom’s story. Deep emotions, drama, danger, secrets, action, suspense, romance and steamy heat are combined and woven into the gripping, well written storyline. These are complex characters that each have their own emotional baggage and issues that need to be addressed and worked through. I thought that they were all likable and it was easy to root for these three to get a well deserved and hard earned HEA. This is my frank, freely posted review.

This story will take you for a ride for sure! Action packed, edge of my seat waiting for the other shoe to drop!
Ransom, Levi and Rivet/Sevan all go back undercover to the Wildfire compound to finish what they started- to take down the MC gang once and for all! It was very hard to put down this book. I needed to know that every time the trio stepped behind closed doors, they would be safe to be themselves and make the relationship work between the 3 of them. But also, when they stepped outside and into the MC world, that they would not be caught.
The book and story line are steamy and riveting. The fact that these characters are a part of the Hot Rides, Hot Rods and Powertools crews was the best. The end of the book, the ‘reunion’ of sorts, and the slight glimpse in to what may come for this large family in the future keeps me hoping that Jayne Rylon will release the next story in this series sooner rather than later!

I love love love a great book. One filled with hot sexy men, sexy as hell ladies and steamy filthy sex. This book has all that and more. It has good verses evil. The levels these 3 go to and beyond for themselves and each other tells a reader what love really is. When you are willing to risk everything for your soulmate then that's love. So allow me a more mortal to tell you what you already can guess. Buy this book, read it, love it, then go and get the rest of Jaynes incredible work. You won't be sorry that you did. Another wonderful addition to the Powertools, Hot Rides & Hot Rods universe! The suspense also kept me on the edge of my chair wondering how everything would end up! I can hardly wait for the next instalment.

Everything you could want in a book and more. Jayne Rylon has taken this series to a new level of great. Sevan, as she makes herself disappear into Rivet, a man that is eager to join the Wilfire's MC to get revenge for the death of her mother. On her side and ready to do anything for justice and for Rivet is Ransom and Levi. Both fighting to put the president of the MC in the ground, but bringing him to justice will do. Both Ransom and Levi have their own personal demon's to figure out because they want to be with each other and with Rivet. Rivet wants it all, although a part of her feels she does not deserve it. Follow their journey into danger, sacrifice, and the fight to do the fight thing, all while fighting fot the relationship they all want.

Rough Ride is the fifth book in the Hot Rides series. It can be read as a stand-alone book. It does involve another triad from book 4 as well as members from a motorcycle club previously mentioned.
Sevan has been hiding her true identity as a woman, masking herself as a young male named Rivet who works as a motorcycle mechanic for the Wildfire Motorcycle Club for the last two years. If her secret is found out she will be killed. It is worth the risk for her if she can take down Angus, the club president, who ordered the kill on her mom. Levi is working at the same MC as an undercover agent to gather information for a mass arrest to break up Wildfire and all their drug trafficking and illegal activities. He is being assisted by Ransom, who was released from jail to help. If he is successful in helping take down Wildfire, he will be a free man.
Due to some crazy things at the end of book 4, the three discover each other and plan to work together on their common goal of taking down Angus and his MC. A huge hurdle? Levi and Ransom, who are in a relationship with each other that no one knows about, are also both strongly attracted to Sevan/Rivet. Rivet, Ransom and Levi found something beyond beautiful in a mess of darkness. They learn to lean on and trust one another. Ms. Rylon pulls out all the stops and kept me flying through the pages. Rough Ride’s dark edge and intensity, fast pace and good plot line, and passion beyond passion makes this installment of the Powertools Hot Ride my favorite.

We met Sevan/Rivet in the previous Powertools: Hot Rides book by Jayne Rylon. When I first read about her and her connections to the story, I was immediately intrigued by her and her history, ready to read more as soon as this book came out. Jayne of course is the master of menage and did NOT disappoint!
Levi has been attracted to Sevan from the get go, even when she was disguised as Rivet. When they end up having to work together again, alongside Ransom, the three of them have to come together as a unit to try and finally take down Wildfire, just like they've always wanted. They need one another more than ever, because if they don't stick together they may never make it back to Hot Rides and an HEA they all deserve.
This book had a ton of heat, was so well written, and had enough suspense to keep me turning the pages long into the night. Definitely recommend Rough Ride, as well as the previous books in the Powertools series.

Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. Rivet (Sevan) was on a mission to get revenge for her dead mother, in her quest she meets Levi and Ransom. Each has their own past or missions for bringing down The Wildfire president Angus. Rivet is drawn to the two men in a way that could blow up in their faces. While attraction is one thing can there be more, each has a scar that has to heal, doubts to overcome. Levi can't let anything interfere with the mission both Ransom and Rivet have to make it out on the other side. Ransom will do anything thing to keep the others safe at all cost. Rivet watches and waits for her opening after years alone in disguise now she has two others to rely on. Seeing their chance to bust up the wildfire and Angus stronghold over everyone's lives may just come at a cost. Who will loss out, the con that was trying to redeem himself from his past, the undercover police who was afraid to let in anyone or the young girl disguised as a boy to get revenge for the death of her mother? WOW that's awesome and steamy read, this was packed full of the self doubts of each character and the emotional impact that each have with the other leading it an over great read.

Each wanting justice for different reasons, never expecting to find more than they could ever hope for. I loved seeing Levi, Ransom and Rivet find their way together. Danger surrounded them and triggers abound but Ms. Rylon allowed them to grow as individuals and a throuple. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing them find love when they were not even looking. Ok, we all already know that Jayne Rylon is the queen of ménage and more. 😉 But this book was beyond amazing!! I loved the chemistry between Sevan aka Rivet, Levi, and Ransom!! This book has a little of something for everyone to love. First off ménage and more, which I love. Then add a hint of subterfuge, danger and what if’s, that all makes for a perfect story that you won’t be sorry you read, and won’t be able to put down!!! And that last chapter 😳, without giving anything away I am now going to reread the whole Powertools and Hot Rides series to get ready for the next book!! I’m so excited for what is coming next!! So this was a free ARC copy from my favorite author for my honest voluntary review of this read.And once I started reading I just couldn't put it down til I finished it, I thought it was that great of a read and its full of sizzling hot scenes to.Plus has lots of action about getting the bad guys of a biker gang! One is hiding as a man gunning for the president of the biker gang and if they find out she's dead.Another is out undercover to get the gang and the last helped him get in the gang, he's in the gang.And boy do things start to sizzling between them all but they have to wait or they might all be in trouble! It has a great a storyline and great characters to read about.Plus like I said its sizzling hot!!! So I hope you all enjoy it to.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat. Levi, Sevan, and Ransom are putting everything on the line to bring down a nasty man. That's one of the things that had me hooked. They could be caught at anytime and their lives are at stake. Along with the adrenaline of what they're doing chemistry builds between the characters. The three of them are going to explore new sides of themselves. A bright spot for them on this rough ride. Things get scorching hot between them. Have a cold drink handy you will need it. Can they stay alive to grab a future they thought wasn't possible? They will do anything to see that future through. This book will hook you in and the story will keep you captive until the end.

This is probably my favorite story in this series. These strong characters are highly likable and have a lot of chemistry. The love scenes are super hot. Right from the start Savan, Levi, and Ransom have this incredible connection and I loved it. The writing is tight and the story moves along at a good pace and I really enjoyed it. The story pulled me quickly and I couldn't put it down.

Rough Ride is the final installment in Jayne Rylon’s fabulous Powertools: Hot Rides series. It was a brilliant book to finish this arc.
Even though each book focuses on a different trio; characters are included from previous books to add that extra bonus of revisiting favourite characters but the books can easily be read as standalones. Rough Ride is Rivet (Sevan), Levi and Ransom’s story.
I absolutely loved these characters. All three are very hard and they need to be rough around the edges to survive in the Wildfire Outlaw MC. Rivet was a kickass heroine who more than held her own against Levi and Ransom and yet watching the three of them evolve further in to their relationship was something beautiful and complimenting. All three of them had a heartbreaking backstory, but through the dark times in the book they were each other’s light and anchor in the chaotic world. Finally, during such a dramatic and climatic end, they were each other’s saviors when they needed it most.
Rough Ride was passionate, emotional and addicting. Jayne Rylon is a class act and is one of my all time favourite romance authors. She sends readers into a sensual world, full of suspense and intrigue and this story is no exception.
Rough Ride is a must read – particularly the last chapter for all Jayne Rylon fans!
Even though each book focuses on a different trio; characters are included from previous books to add that extra bonus of revisiting favourite characters but the books can easily be read as standalones. Rough Ride is Rivet (Sevan), Levi and Ransom’s story.
I absolutely loved these characters. All three are very hard and they need to be rough around the edges to survive in the Wildfire Outlaw MC. Rivet was a kickass heroine who more than held her own against Levi and Ransom and yet watching the three of them evolve further in to their relationship was something beautiful and complimenting. We met Rivet (Sevan) in Joy Ride and found she was on a mission to get revenge for her dead mother. In her quest she meets Levi and Ransom who are also members of the MC. They also each have their own reason for wanting to bring down The Wildfire president Angus. Rivet is drawn to the two men in a way that could blow up in their faces and get them all killed. After one steamy night before going back to the MC they all try to fight the growing attraction and focus on the mission. They all have personal demons that they are trying to overcome that make it difficult to decide what should be more important the mission, their own safety or each other. When the opportunity comes to finally take Angus down and secrets are revealed who will be left standing? Can the bond the three of them formed withstand the final face off? This was an intense and steamy story and with the small glimpse we got at the end I can’t wait to see what happens next.

This is the latest book in the Hot Rides series. I’m a fan of this entire series and the author, but this story was quite different than the other books in the series. It really kept me guessing and on the edge of my seat.
Sevan (Rivet) has hidden her gender and true self for years. She wants to avenge her mother’s death at the hands of the president of the Wildfire MC.
Levi and Ransom have been undercover in Wildfire. They want to put the MC president away for good for a variety of crimes.
The attraction, chemistry, and connection between the three is undeniable. The scenes between Sevan, Levi, and Ransom were hot and emotional. They all have secrets and problems, but they have to work together for their mutual goals.
I really enjoyed this story. This book has everything: love, romance, angst, laughter, pain, tears, and even a villain on the way to a HEA.

This is Book 5 in the Hot Rides series. We met Sevan in the last book, and I was really excited to see her story in this book. She’s been pretending to be Rivet, a male mechanic in the Wildfire motorcycle gang. Levi and Ransom join up with Sevan to bring the gang down. This was such a good read. The story between the 3 of them and then everything that happens with Wildfire made it a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The title of this book fits so good because I’m telling this to prepare you, you definitely need to be ready for a rough ride due to all the emotions that are going to be racing through you as you read. I love this series! I’m not sure if it’s not my favorite of her Powertools series.

The fifth book in Jayne Rylon's five-star Powertools: Hot RIdes series has to be one of my favorites. I finally got to find out about Rivet's story, have been left intrigued after the showdown at the diner. To start, she might be an unlikely heroine, but the is something about her that calls to me, She's scrappy, a fighter with a bruised soul. But now she is given a chance to get both revenge and the key to her happiness in Levi and Ransom.
One of the things I like about Jayne's series is that even though they are a shorter read there is so much depth to both her characters and the plot, these to things are key to me wanting more.
My thanks to the author for allowing me to review her work, but also for all the great stories she has written.
