Although short in length it was certainly not short on emotions. From the opening pages to the last paragraph this book had me wiping tears from my cheeks. Allowing these broken but not destroyed men find the loves of their lives and learn to live again was beautifully written and deeply moving. So sorry to see their storylines end but look forward to seeing snipets of them in future books.

I can't believe I didn't write something, anything about this novella. It completed a few of the stories within the Away From the Keyboard Series by Patricia D. Eddy. My apologies to the author.

Yes, this is a short novella, and will really mean nothing unless you read the books that are preceding it. It gives closure the Dax, and Ryker (yes, I did steal his name), and Ripper. But it also pulls everything together, and made things clearer for the next chapter of this series. Personally, I hope this author will continue with this series until she runs out of characters, because she's managed to build a world where men are human and imperfect, and their women love them. Perfect happy ending.

Wow! I absolutely loved and adored this short and beautiful novella. It was simply perfect.

Ripper and Cara just continue to break my heart. They’re very good for each other. Dax and Evianna are just so adorably sweet. Ryker and Wren are fiery together just like always. It was so interesting to see them on Thanksgiving and their preparations. The bond between three brothers is very powerful and unbreakable. Triple wedding is everything that I imagined and more. The vows were very beautiful and heartwarming.

Overall I loved this short novella very much. If you loved these three couples you should definitely read this amazing book.

Why did this book have to be so short?! Haha. I am so happy that we finally got a 'happy ending' for our three beloved couples: Ryker and Wren, Dax and Evianna and Ripper and Cara.

I don't want to give much away, because this is a great 'ending' for these great characters that the author has done a fantastic job creating over the past four books. It may be short, but it's not short of emotions and is a great read!

Forever Rescued.

Patricia D Eddy's writing and understanding of a tortured soul is what makes this bonus story and the whole 'Away From The Keyboard' series so outstanding. When I first started reading this series a couple of years ago and read the authors description 'Beautifully Broken' I knew then I would never read another series like it. May these veterans lives be a never ending story, in anticipation of the next one ......

Absolutely amazing. If you haven’t read the first 6 books this is basically one big SPOILER, but if you have it is everything we didn’t know we needed!!
This whole series is PHENOMENAL!!! I found them 10 months ago and I am currently on my fourth read/listen (they are fantastic in audio!!) 10/10 I cannot recommend them enough!!
Emotional cat nip, beautifully broken, found family, guaranteed happily ever after.

HEA

This series is as somber and gut wrenching as I’ve ever read. However, there have unfortunately been veterans who have been prisoners of war and have gone through unimaginable things. I think this author has dealt with this with such realism. Thank you for giving all of them the HEA they deserve.

Sitting here with tears in my eyes (certainly not the first time while reading an AFK book) and I know without a doubt that I couldn't have imagined a better scene set for our favorite guys and gals to take their vows. It was the perfect balance of beautiful and broken that Eddy writes so flawlessly.

Grab some tissues you're going to need them. This novella is the perfect ending wrap up for the Away From The Keyboard series. These men & women truly understand the meaning of family in our lives. How they lift us up when we're down, carry us when we are struggling and love us no matter what. Patricia Eddy wrote this perfectly!

Sigh

I so enjoyed this. So happy for the couples. Ms. Eddy is so descriptive I felt like I was taking part. I love all of the characters and if you ask me to pick a favorite I couldn't. All have their strengths and yes weaknesses also . I could never imagine some of the horrors our military has had to endure but I am so grateful to them.
Thank you.

Happy Holidays!

No secret I adore the AFK series, and this holiday short is truly the cherry on top!
Don’t read it if you have not read the other books yet: read those first to fully understand the feelings of these beautifully broken characters.

Just a summary but a heart felt one.

This series has been moving in so many ways. It is well-written, researched and all have great characters. I am so pleased I decided to try on of her books.

Holiday short story

I was hoping for a story about the weddings, and more about Cara and Ripper. A short story highlighting tube three weddings. If you have read the Away From keyboard series, I recommend you read this

so, so, good! I actually read this awhile ago and just realized that it never updated on Goodreads. Loved catching up with the gang and as always PED makes a novella feel and seem so much longer. Read the whole series and then have this for dessert!

Wedding for 3

Great wrap-up for 3 main AFK characters. The whole thing was a perfect look into the 3 relationships and how even though they are happy they still all have their struggles.

Loved!

I just love this series and all the beautiful characters. I really enjoyed each book on its own, but also loved how the characters evolved thru each story told.
I was new to Ms Eddy, and I will be a forever fan.

Just the story you need to tie up "loose ends" on three amazing couples. But do not read this unless you've read the books their stories are in.
Highly recommend Patricia's Away from Keyboard series!
