Snowflake Creek #3

Hello Dr. Christmas

Rate this book

My name is Clara, and I was born to dance in the Nutcracker.

I eat, sleep, and breathe ballet, until a jealous understudy causes me to break my ankle. I can't stand en pointe. I can't dance. My Christmas is ruined.
Until my sister hooks me up with one of the world's best orthopedic surgeons, and gives me hope.
His name is Klaus, he's Swedish, and they call him Dr. Christmas.
He's also single, newly-widowed, and hot-as-hell.
I think, for the first time in my life, I could maybe grow to care about something other than ballet.

Note: These are steamy Christmas rom-coms to bring some heat to your cold December. Filled with lots of giggles and super happy endings. Bite-sized reads that can be enjoyed quickly during the busy holidays!

This book was awesome and the Christmas theme was amazing too.. In this book it talks about Clara being a Dancer and how she hurt her foot and Klaus being a Dr and how he comes to snowflake creek to see his cousin Sven.. I really liked the characters because they were so sweet and the Christmas drinks in this book sounds awesome.. I have to say that it was sad reading about Klaus's backs story and how Clara helps him but i am glad he seen the right way before he lost the first person he has cared about for years..

If your looking for a Christmas themed book then check out the trilogy..

I have to say that this book would be for Over 18+ because there is some steamy bits.. This book follows Clara and how she found love around Christmas time.. This book will make you laugh out loud but also make you sad for Klaus..

Characters i liked:
Clara [Mary's sister ]
Klaus [ Sven's cousin ]
Eve [Mary's sister, Adam's girlfriend ]
Adam [ Eve's boyfriend, he is so funny ]
Mary [Sven's girlfriend]
Sven [Mary's boyfriend]
Mary's mum and dad was so funny

*big sigh* This one started so promising, I thought it'd end up being a 3-star read for sure! One-night stand trope, cuteness, even the weirdness of "oh, we've slept together and now you're my doctor!" wasn't that bad. And even with Klaus being a widower, he seemed ready to be moving on with Clara.

But then it got downright cringy/creepy, with Clara's inner thoughts including stuff along the lines of "maybe I can have dead woman's leftovers" or Klaus keeping his departed wife's toothbrush and brush because they...contained her DNA (what did he intend to do with those, clone her?).

I'm glad to be done with this novella series now and it will probably surprise no one, but I'm done with this author as well. It's just not my taste.

I had high hopes for this one because of hearing so much about Clara from reading the other stories, but I ended up feeling even worse for her than I did at first. Don’t get me wrong, glad she got her foot fixed and could dance again… but I guess I just didn’t like how she ended up not getting on the plane to go home. Was rooting for Klaus until he mentioned the part about letting Clara borrow his wife’s clothes & about the not getting rid of the toothbrush..With where he was at and how he was acting— thought the story was going to take a turn of sorts.
Anyways, this story seemed to be content filled especially when they were talking about her sisters Mary & Eve towards the end so it was nice to hear more about their storylines.

I like the play on name

So all of the books in this series are a little cheesy with romance and conversations but this one tops it all. I liked it but I really wanted and needed to know how Klaus' therapy was going. He needed a lot of help. I also wanted to know if Amy was charged and/or fired. She needed to be and I'm glad there was a video. I have to note, Europe is earlier than the U.S. The author says Minnesota is ahead in time but it's actually behind. ( From the previous book Alaska is behind Minnesota.) I was confused for a minute when reading those sections. I'll be looking for Jack's book to see what it has to say. Hope it comes out soon.

Some stories left a mark in our heart after reading. "Snowflake Creek Box set : Books 1-3 " is such a collection of 3 stories which left a mark in my mind. This is a collection of 3 books written by Olivia Noble and the stories are part of" Snowflake Creek Bundles" series

Book 3: Hello Dr. Christmas
My name is Clara, and I was born to dance in the Nutcracker. This is the 3 Rd book of the snowflake creek series and a very gripping one.

Over-the-top romantic comedy with a guaranteed HEA! Lots of smiles, warm and fuzzy feelings.

I have rated this book 5/5. My point of view after reading these books, firstly the author with her impeccable writing skill describes each and every character beautifully. Secondary the author also mixes romanticism with comedy and lots of smile. A truly lovely read.

“Hello Dr. Christmas”, third in the Snowflake Creek series, is the weakest.
Not only does it lift material directly from the first two books, we already know at least part of the story of prima ballerina Clara Frost and surgeon Klaus Anderson (aka Dr. Christmas).
Clara's career as a dancer seems to be over when she breaks her ankle and more after a bad fall.
On her return home to Snowflake Fall, Minnesota, for Christmas she drowns her sorrows on Christmas Eve at the Drunken Elf pub where she meets a nice man with a broken heart, has a one-night stand, and slips away at dawn without ever learning his name.
Who could he be?
Yes, he's none other than Dr. Christmas.
After reading some other reviews it appears that some of the 'creepy' elements of the story has been taken out.
A HEA is guaranteed!
2 Stars.

💃 From the ballet stage to Snowflake Creek, Clara’s story stole my heart.

🍺 This third installment in the Snowflake Creek series is by far the most emotional. Clara, the Prima Ballerina, returns home to heal from an injury. One night at the local tavern, she crosses paths with a handsome widowed stranger—and what unfolds is a tender, heart‑wrenching journey of love, loss, and second chances.

💔 As a widow myself, this story hit incredibly close to home. The raw portrayal of grief, guilt, and the courage to move forward felt so real. For such a short novella, it packed an unforgettable punch.

@OliviaNoble beautifully captured the roller coaster of emotions that come with letting go and opening your heart again.

💬 Have you ever read a story that mirrored your own life so closely it felt personal?

Lovely Christmas read.

Clara is injured by her understudy and the injury is bad enough that she is told she can never do ballet again. With her life upended she heads home to drink and find solace with her family. On Christmas Eve she meets a stranger in a pub and experiences a one night stand to remember with ‘Mr Claus’.

Surprise, surprise the next day he arrives at their house. Klaus is an orthopaedic surgeon and her future brother in law’s cousin. He has been flown in to consult on possible surgery to help her get back to dancing.

In Sweden the two have to deal with her recovery and his bereavement.

I really wanted to like this book. It started out just fine. There was some cuteness and crossover from the previous books. Then things took a turn. Klaus is a widower and cannot let go of the memory of his wife. The creepiness begins seeping in and takes over full force when Clara wants to wear the dead wife's clothes. I mean...no...just no!!! Then he offers to dress her in his dead wife's clothes. Girl RED FLAG!!!! It was just ew. They had no chemistry and and the story ended up a total flop.

I recommend reading the second book and letting it go. It is too late for me, save yourself!

Hello Dr. Christmas by Olivia Noble is a satisfying conclusion to the Frost sisters’ romance journey. Clara has hit rock bottom when she meets Dr. Klaus, who is still grieving the loss of his wife two years earlier. I liked how their story focused on healing and finding comfort in one another, and it maintained the warmth and humor that carried through the previous books. While their chemistry did not quite have the same magical spark as the first two stories, it was still a heartfelt and enjoyable read. The final chapter was especially appreciated, as it provided much-needed closure to all three sisters’ stories, which had previously ended rather abruptly.

I loved it

But I wanted more! I am a HEA type of girl and I’ve enjoyed each story after each story but I hate hot the story ends!!
She’s a prima ballerina who gets sabotaged by a jealous dancer because she take her role seriously. He’s been mourning his wife for the last 2 years. They have a one night stand she leaves and he sees her the next day at his cousins gf house. He’s surprised. Will his past hold him back from their future? Will she be ok being surrounded by the love of his life’s memories and pictures!???

So disappointed in this one. I was really looking forward to this story and I was so disappointed he was so hung up on his wife. But I rolled with it and when she left because he wasn’t ready she should’ve left and given him more time. There is no way he would’ve gone from no you can’t put your toothbrush next to hers and no you can’t sit on her bed to come home and wear her clothes and shoes. He needed more time. That wasn’t ok. I get it’s a novella so the story has to move faster but not like that.

An absolute delight to read!!

What a way to end a great little holiday series. I really enjoyed reading all 3 books and just was the perfect amount for a quick enjoyable reads. Loved them. Well written, witty, sexy and steamy and so much fun, this book was an absolute delight to read. Okay, yes it can be a little predictable in all three books but sometimes that’s just want you need to read. Definitely looking forward to future books from this amazing author. Happy reading!!

Cute wrap up of the Frost sisters’ Christmas

Clara, the youngest Frost sister and primary ballerina, thought her career was over after injuring her ankle. But Klaus Andersson, Dr. Christmas, orthopedic surgeon and Sven’s cousin, came to the rescue in more than one way. He completed Clara’s surgery, and also maybe her life wish and heart. But he is still having a hard time moving on from his wife who passed away. The characters are good as is the story for the most part. The end felt a little sketchy, but the epilogue was okay.

Smith

I enjoyed this book but I'm sad that this is the last book. I won't get to see how Adam and Eve get engaged or see what Mary and Sven have a boy or girl. Last I won't be able to enjoy Clara and Klaus wedding I hope you make one last book to give us a a full view of what happens to them.

Hello Dr. Christmas is a cute story

Keeping up with Snowflake Creek has never been so delightful. When the ballerina is destroyed on stage by a fellow ballerina it looks as her career may be over. Till Sven calls his cousin Klaus to help fix her broken ankle. Can they rebuild each other and yet stay true to themselves? Read and find out!

The last book in this series was cute and a quick read. This was had a lot more heartache then the others. But not really between the main characters. I really liked Klaus and was heartbroken for him but was glad he was willing to try for Clara. This was a good end to this series.

All of dead wife's stuff had to go.

All of the dead wife's stuff had to go or I would go. That was so weird. Why was her picture still hanging over that fireplace a year later? Just creepy. I would have never stayed when he would not let me sit on the bed. Just crazy.

not a favourite

Well what a disappointment this book was. Short story but I didn’t like Clara at all and klaus as a doctor came over as a bit of an idiot. Author didn’t treat either character well.

sweet and spicy

Hello Dr. Christmas is a sweet and spicy holiday novella in the Snowflake Creek series. Klaus and Clara definitely had their bumps in the road but my favorite part of the book was when justice was served on a platter to Clara’s old dance colleague.

Get Out Your Tissues

This story had me crying almost from the start. A horrific injury, a widower. The tears were flowing. The story of Clara and Klaus is hot, tortured and whirlwind. Good addition to the series.
