Snowflake Creek #2

All I Want for Christmas Eve

Rate this book

Santa's Sleigh has crashed in Eve's backyard.

To be clear, it's a plane named Santa's Sleigh.
She saves Adam from the wreckage, and although he's injured, he's not too injured to make endless jokes about how they belong together. Adam and Eve jokes. Ugh.

It would be so lame if he weren't so sexy. And if Eve didn't live in The Middle of Nowhere, Alaska, where the only men around are polar bears.
Could Adam be Eve's Christmas present from Santa?
Men don't usually fall from the sky, but when they do... might as well enjoy.
It's snowing men. Hallelujah?

Note: These are steamy Christmas rom-coms to bring some heat to your cold December. Filled with lots of giggles and super happy endings. Bite-sized reads that can be enjoyed quickly during the busy holidays!

The second book in Olivia Noble's Snowflake Creek romance series stars Eve who is a historical romance writer who lives in a remote area of Alaska. When Adam arrives via crashing his plane in Eve's back yard the fun begins. Two likable characters, a blizzard that strands them in Eve's cabin for several days, humor provided by Adam using Adam and Eve jokes and a romance that develops organically with the forced proximity made this a fun afternoon read.

2.5 stars. Slightly better than first book but still full of cringe-cringe moments.

This was the second book in this series and was just as cute as the first. Can’t wait to read the last book. I love that these books are about three sisters and each has their own book. Will definitely be checking out other books by this author.

This one was better than the first one in my opinion. Felt bad for Eve when she found out that how she met Adam wasn’t necessarily a coincidence.

Make a Wish

Eve is a writer living in the remote area of Alaska. No one comes to visit her and she feels it's best for her writing. She decides to wish on a shooting star and instead the star turns out to be a plane crashing. There is one person on the plane and his name is Adam. Adam is injured but he is full of optimism. He makes Adam and Eve jokes the whole time they are stuck in Eve's cabin, due to a storm. When the storm clears will they be able to continue like they were or will everything change?

Loved Funny Adam – Couldn’t like Eve

This was a quick Christmas insta-love romance. I really liked the premise as well as a lot of the story. I enjoyed the humor and all of Adam’s corny Adam & Eve jokes. However, there were a few things that bothered me.
• After the plane crash, ,Adam has an obvious leg injury, yet she doesn’t hesitate to ask him to help her shovel the drive, and doesn’t even think of the RICE method for helping him alleviate the pain and heal until the 3rd day they are stranded together.
• She has cell service but never offers to let him use her cell or computer to contact family or friends who may be worried about him, although she uses both devices daily.
• She’s all about sharing her family details and problems with him, yet she never thinks to ask him about his family? He surprises her with gourmet cooking and decorates her house, but she seems to think only about herself and doesn’t really try to provide much hospitality nor caring about his health and situation (family that may be missing him).
• She seems like a self-absorbed writer. Almost like she’s secluded herself, isolated so she can work, but other than her parents, she’s all about her…and like Adam is her little bonus. It seems like Eve, who cared so much about her own folks, would be more sympathetic and care that Adam is worrying his own folks by being missing, but we don’t see that at all. Even the ending is wrapped up in Eve and Adam’s care for her, but nothing given on her side.

So, while I liked a lot of this story, there were just too many things that bothered me for me to give it a higher rating. I will most likely give this author another chance in hopes for more.

This book was awesome and the Christmas theme was amazing too.. In this book it talks about Eve being a writer, her romance books that she writes and Adam is a famous charity worker who helps people around the holidays with food or toys.. I really liked the characters because they were so sweet and the food and Christmas drinks in this book sounds awesome.. If your looking for a Christmas themed book then check out the trilogy.. I have to say that this book would be for Over 18+ because there is some steamy bits.. This book follows Eve and how she found love around Christmas time.. This book will make you laugh because Adam is very sassy and so are the other characters..

Characters i liked:
Eve [Mary's sister ]
Adam [ he is so funny ]
Mary [Sven's girlfriend]
Sven [Mary's boyfriend]
Clara [Mary's sister ]
Mary's mum and dad was so funny

“All I Want For Christmas Eve”, second in the Snowflake Creek series, is set at the same time as the story of Mary and Sven.
It's a trick which allows the author, Olivia Noble, to repeat almost verbatim the guts of two chapters. It fills space but it is not a good idea as I read books 1-3 in a few hours, one after the other. Romance writer Eve Frost has chosen to live in the middle of nowhere, Alaska.
Sometimes she feels a little lonely and, as Christmas approaches, she makes a wish on a shooting star.
WTH, it's no shooting star, it's a plane about to crash during a snow storm.
The pilot is the only occupant and he's slightly injured.
As luck would have it he's named Adam.
And he never seems to run out of Adam and Eve jokes.
He cooks, cleans, knows how to fix generators and is great company but he won't tell her anything about himself.
He's also no slouch in the sex department!
But when the storm lifts and they dig themselves out Adam turns out to be less than the man she thought he was. She's wrong, of course.
It's too short to really develop the characters and they remain quite one-dimensional throughout.
It passed a fairly pleasant hour.
3 Stars.

I began this book hoping to connect, but I never do. I had high hopes for it. The book started differently than expected, and I hoped the trajectory would continue. Unfortunately, it was a bit too cheesy after their meet-cute for my taste. He had love at first site. He was constantly fawning over her and doing all he could to impress her. This story is written for the female demographic, but we wouldn't buy this behavior out of the gate, even in our wildest fantasies. Plus, love, at first sight isn't fun to read. I also have a massive issue with two people who met three days ago, choosing to have unprotected sex and being stupid enough to use the words "careful and safe" in the same sentence. I can deal with female characters that are either weak OR stupid, but I cannot deal when a female character is both! The flow of the book is fine, the writing is fine, the story is lackadaisical and predictable. The end of the book tries to entice you to read the next book in the "series" but again, predictable. You don't need to.

Some stories left a mark in our heart after reading. "Snowflake Creek Box set : Books 1-3 " is such a collection of 3 stories which left a mark in my mind. This is a collection of 3 books written by Olivia Noble and the stories are part of" Snowflake Creek Bundles" series.

Book 2 : All I Want for Christmas Eve
Santa's Sleigh has crashed in Eve's backyard.-
This is the second book of the snowflake creek series and a very nice one.

Over-the-top romantic comedy with a guaranteed HEA! Lots of smiles, warm and fuzzy feelings.

I have rated this book 5/5. My point of view after reading these books, firstly the author with her impeccable writing skill describes each and every character beautifully. Secondary the author also mixes romanticism with comedy and lots of smile. A truly lovely read.

This second installment in the Snowflake Creek series was such a delightful surprise—definitely stronger than the first!

We met Mary in All I Want For Christmas, but this time it’s her sister Eve’s turn. Living alone in remote Alaska, Eve’s world changes when what she thinks is a shooting star turns out to be… Santa’s Sleigh. 🚀 Except it’s not that sleigh—it’s a plane, crash-landing right in her backyard.

Inside is Adam, the charming pilot who instantly sees Eve as his angel. Cue endless Adam-and-Eve jokes, forced proximity, and a fate-filled romance that’s equal parts sweet and funny.

If you’re craving a short, festive novella with insta-love, meet-cute magic, and plenty of holiday charm, this one’s a perfect pick. 🎄💫

Santa’s Sleigh

When Eve spots what she thought was a shooting star she made a wish for someone special for Christmas. Then she realized that this was not a shooting star but something that was rapidly approaching her home. She quickly ran out to see if anyone was hurt and she found a gorgeous man who stumbled from the wreckage. He tells her that she should marry him. During the ensuing storm she falls for him. He is perfect. Follow their story as they navigate their way home.

So I started this book months ago and put it down at around 50% because I was struggling to enjoy it. The premise was ok but I was just bored up to that point. This morning I decided to finish it and ended up liking the last half of the book better.

This book is the second in the series, and while I have not read book one, I am going to read book 3. After reading the premise and the blurb for that, it looked interesting so I want to give it a try. All in all, this was a cute quick read and I’m glad I decided to go back and finish it.

All I Want for Christmas Eve by Olivia Noble is a delightful continuation of the Snowflake Creek series and an easy book to fall into after finishing You Can’t Ruin Christmas. It delivers the same cozy holiday rom-com vibe with just the right amount of spice, making it a perfect seasonal read. While the first book focused on Mary, this one is all about Eve. Adam is incredibly charming, and his corny Adam and Eve jokes made me smile more than once. Noble has a magical way of combining warmth, humor, and festive charm. I cannot wait to continue this series with Clara’s story.

Lighthearted and fun

I really liked this. It's adorable, and cute , and funny. And the H is so perfect. What's not to love?
Needs a little editing, though. There are a half dozen or so wrong or missing words, and a minor continuity issue. The major error is when the h calls her mom saying she'll be up as it's earlier in MN. It's not. It's Later in MN than it is in AK.
Also, the ending felt sudden to me. I was expecting more, like in the first book.

A book with some surprise turns in it

Adam and Eve, I once had 2 chipmunks that I called Adam and Eve They were from the mountains and that's how this story starts in Alaska with lots of trees and snow. A plane crashes. The sparring back in forth between the 2 main characters is funny and you're not sure where it's going until the very end of the book. I had to read every bit of it. It's not it's not long book 1 but that's really good thank you very much.

Santa got the perfect gift right -

I have read several of Olivia's books, but this one took me by surprise. Some of the jokes were kind of corny and some of them were pretty funny.

"Someone is going to find out what it means to get her eggs nogged. (Chapter 9)

Adam - the very first man to crash land in your snowy paradise and Eve's wintery Garden of Eden.

Check out Snowflake Creek - 9 Book series, most short reads. Enjoy and Happy reading.

Those were really sappy jokes... But I enjoyed this story a lot more than the first one in the series.... Not sure why. I guess Eve sounded more sure of what she wanted and a little better connection is made between Adam and Eve than Mary and Sven, Adam and Eve actually sounded like chemistry... Mary and Sven just like a superficial girl getting over being dumped (sorry... 😟) So, I guess I'm moving on to Clara's story.. and we'll see what Dr. Christmas brings...

This was a sweet Christmas romance.

Eve is alone in Alaska when a plane crashes on her property. As she hurries to help the pilot a winter storm rolls in and leaves them stranded in her cabin. Adam and Eve need to brave the cold to make it through. Will the sparks ignite?

This was a fun read. I look forward to the next one!

Eve and Adam

Eve makes a wish on what she thought was a shooting star. When a plane crashes on her backyard in Alaska. This is when Adam emerged from the plane with a hurt leg. Eve helps him while she woes her until she has to go home to take care of her dad... Things just got interesting during the blizzard and on the way home. Great ending.

A Very Enjoyable Read

Love the characters. They are fun and a little quirky, but not crazy quirky, which makes them interesting. Lots of jokes that are amusing in that bad dad joke way. The repartee between the characters is lively. I want to read more about the Frost family from Snowflake Creek. And I definitely will. Like right now.

Instalove, with a reluctant to commit woman. But still wants the man. While there are moments of lucidity where it almost feels like reality, there are many more moments that just don't add up. But it was fun, sort of. And it was definitely short. Throw in some mild spices, a pinch of sexual suspense, and an HEA and you have a story.

Ok this boo was absolutely funny!!!! I’m really liking the way Olivia Noble writes and incorporates the characters from one book to another…. The flow is very smooth, the bedroom scenes are steamy, the plot twists are there but not over the top!!!! Very well written!!!!!

Fun story

What happens when a small plane crashes outside Eve's cabin in Alaska? Adam falls for Eve. He keeps making corny jokes and driving her crazy. A cute meal and a decorated tree enchants her.
When Adam can't get on the plane with Eve she thinks the worst. Will it work out? Read and see

This was a fun read. But, honestly, what woman voluntarily moves so far off the grid that even Amazon takes 7 days to deliver? Adam was such a “hunk” and very accommodating, in spite of his injuries. Eve is is cautious as she helps him after his plan crash. Love developers and then Eve is called home.
