We get the last bear from this firefighter crew and the drama comes to a end.

Blake is the oldest shifter in the group and is giving up that he shall find his mate..the life of being unmated sucks. But his luck turns around when FbI agent Lily walks into his office. He knows that's his mate his woman, but what she says has him scared. Lily is here to capture the dragon shifter who is causing trouble. She feels a connection to Blake but when he starts growly and ordering her to not get invovled she sass him and walks away.

It doesn't last long these two are stubborn and come back together when Lily is trying to take down the dragon shifter and  is almost killed.. lucky her bear is their to save her, now the pulling away is finally over Lily is finally opening up and giving Blake the chance.

No ow/om drama, no cheating, slight secondary chara  Drama, sexy times, both virgins

Finally!

Finally Blake and Lily find their true loves, bit later in life. I loved the intrigue and suspense in this storyline. There was the usual insta-love,but these two had to work at their coming together a bit more.

En comparación con las otras historias cortas de la autora, esta es igual de poco creíble pero solo un poco soportable. Sin embargo, es bastante aburrido y precipitado.

It feels like I have been waiting forever for the last alpha bear to get his mate! Pulled to the alpha is the most recent installment in the Alpha in Heat series about a small fire house in Blackcloud.

Blake can finally be with his true love in Lily, but nothing in life comes easily. Blake must fight their current enemy to ensure that Lily will get the happily ever after she has always wanted.
Lily is an independent woman, with a life of her own. No bear shifter will come into her life and tell her what to do or so she thinks. Once she sets her eyes on Blake, she wants things she never thought would be possible.

The two clashing personalities leap of the pages and give us the read of a lifetime. I cant wait to see what else, if anything Turner has in store for us and the Blackcloud fire department.

I am soo glad that Blake finally got his HEA as I always had a soft spot for the older polar bear shifter. He was a really great hero and a ferociously protective alpha. The story finally resolves the story arc that was introduced in the first book of the series and how we got glimpses into prior couples' lives. I would have loved if the final battle had included more of the firehouse members as they, as a team, worked together in the other books. It DID show how bad@$$ Blake was, so I am not complaining.

I had more issues with Lily as I didn't feel as if her actions in any way painted her as a trained and competent FBI agent. I don't remember her at any time showing any ID proving her status; just verbal spouting that she was an FBI agent. Add in some irresponsible gun handling and I was less than impressed. If Lily had been a better agent, I would have enjoyed the story a lot more. Yes, it is escapism. Yes, irresponsible behavior happens IRL, but I want the heroines that are supposed to be competent and professional to BE competent and professional.

I received an ARC in exchange for an unbiased review.

Blake has been waiting his whole life for his mate to show up. For over 50 years, he has longed to have her but now its starting to look like he never will. That is until FBI shows up looking for the dragon brothers. Lily walks into his office and for the first time in his life he's speechless. Finding out she's searching for the dragon brothers and wont give up, he knows that it will take everything in him to protect his mate.

-dual virgins
-no om/ow drama

Polar bear, silver fox, Dragon. Oh my!

What happens when an FBI agent meets a gorgeous OTT possessive sexy polar bear? Insta love and super hot sexiness! We also get an exciting fight between the FBI, polar bear and a very nasty dragon. Will the very determined Lily get her man and dragon? The read does not disappoint!!!

I really hope that this book has a huge age gap! Because otherwise, it would be such a waste! I know that the hero is an older man, but I don’t know the age of the heroine. I hope she is around eighteen, but she could be closer to his age. Who knows?

Also the virgin heroine trope is a lot more believable when the heroine is very young.

I’m really excited!!! Yayayayay!

I liked Blake the most out of the bear-shifters (and his character was still good but he deserved a better story) and I really felt sad for him but his story was underwhelming.

First. The Logic. Where is it? I mean the FBI sends a human after three dragon-shifters. What was the plan? Seriously. I mean okay... It's only one dragon but he is fire-breathing and bulletproof. Why did they think a human woman can stop him? And about the bulletproof skin... There is a scene where we find out he is bulletproof and later, there is another scene where Lily acts surprised about him being bulletproof. Why??? She already knew it!

And Lily... I can't take anyone seriously who goes around saying that they are an FBI agent and it's and FBI business and FBI blah blah blah... It was awkward.

And their love story... It was lukewarm. I mean there are four books about... Mark her. Fuck her. And there is this book with almost nothing. Poor guy waited decades for... this? Ehh.

You know when you're really waiting for something and the anticipation builds and builds and builds? That's what it was like waiting for Blake to get his own book. From book 1 I wanted to see this poor man finally get his chance at love, to find his mate, especially considering he's in his 50s at this point. I read through this whole damn series just to get to it and after all that build up I can say, without a shadow of a doubt that this book is ... disappointing to say the least.

Lily is a hard ass FBI agent chasing dragons by herself. She's not a shifter, nothing special, just a regular human in her 30s chasing fucken dragon shifters. It doesn't make any sense, especially that she wouldn't have any type of backup but whatever. This whole series has been garbage with the inclusion of the dragon shifters. Now, don't get me wrong, I like strong FMCs but she's bordering on bitchiest bitch that ever lived and Blake is such a sweet guy that he deserved someone better. He should have had someone better.

And we are starting early it seems with the sex. Not even 40ish% in and it's already time for them to fuck. There goes any hope for any actual story because we all know once sex appears it doesn't stop in these books. So disappointing, really. I liked her other series more than this one, that's for damn sure.

Side note, I also can't believe Olivia made the stupid mistake of writing elk stakes and not steak. And the fact that she changed which dragon shifter was left. She calls him Reginald (not only once either) at one point but he died 2 books ago. Sperling is the one alive. Not to mention that she already knew he was bulletproof from the last time they fought but conveniently has forgotten during this second standoff? Don't know what is happening to this author but I'm not impressed right now because these are all mistakes normally made with AI and it would be a damn shame if Olivia turned to that.

Oh and in this one it's a gun that trumps the dragon shifter. Not even just the one damn bear shifter, no, just a gunshot through the eye since he's bulletproof everywhere else. Why he fucken shifted back to his human form is beyond me. I guess just to die at this point. So fucken stupid.

Wow Blake and Lily
This one was action packed with a little heat okay a lot of heat and not all from their passion.
That darn red dragon is back and even stronger than his two(DEAD) brothers.
Lily is a focused FBI agent and is determined to take in the Sterling brothers it is a career maker for her since she has been chasing them for ten years, but she is about to get a reality check when she finally comes face to face with a dragon, even if he is in human form.
Luckily for her her mate has her scent and is close by.
Both Lily and Blake are virgins she in her thirties and him his fifties but it was never right with anyone else.
When these two give in to passion it is explosive and steamy.
This book has flying dragons, polar bears, fighting, trucks falling from the sky and determined mates.
We are visited by the whole crew and their mates with funny memories of how they all met.
New friends are formed families are created and priorities are re aligned.
With the Sterling brothers gone and all the firefighters settling with their mates I can't wait to read the next series for this small Montana mountain town and it's shifter residence.

I liked that Lily was fairly age appropriate for Blake. He's still significantly older, but at least she's not 18 to mid 20s. I still don't like Kimberly and think she's a try hard. You're a shitty waitress if you constantly crap on the quality of food and drinks your place of work sells. I guess the only reason she's got the job is that there's no one else to do it.
Now onto petty stuff. One, this novella is from 2020. When is the myth that sex helps induce labour going to go to the bin where it belongs? Similarly, Lily thinks that Blake's body is incapable of retaining any fat, but imo both men and women look awful with very low fat %. I don't know if it's even possible to have 0% fat in your body. I warned you it was petty!

Blake's time.

I really like this author's shifters's stories. They are sexy and enjoyable, and I really wanted for Blake to finally have his HEA.
But I couldn't quite connect to the couple.

I really like age gap and who doesn't love a silver fox? I also liked that the heroine was older than the usual ones this author writes, and it was cool that she was an FBI agent (I love that stuff). But I wanted them to be as mature as their age.

I didn't buy that Lily was a badass at all. She was just snappy, showing a bravado she couldn't live up to and she was not very bright. She was trying to hard to be a strong agent, but it wasn't believable.

I also wanted Blake to be more appealing as well. The younger firefighters were smarter and more compelling than him.

Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed the book and I'll read the next shifters books this author writes, I really like them. But I wish I enjoyed it more.
I love when the characters are over 30yo (I prefer it like that), but I want them to act accordingly.

Pulled to The Alpha is the story of Blake and Lily.

Lily is a 33-year-old FBI Agent who is working to find a dragon shapeshifter. Blake is a 54-year-old firefighter who is struggling and hoping to find his mate. Lily has evidence of 2 other dragons and the scene was placed at a fire station. She goes to the fire station and she finds Blake and is instantly attracted to him and so is he. She leaves with no evidence and gets a tip of the dragon being at a bar so she checks it out and finds him and threatens to shoot if he doesn't comply with her instructions he doesn't listen so she shoots and turns out he's bulletproof and he starts choking her when Blake steps in and saves her barely. He claims her that night but the next day the dragon is back and with a fight, they finally are able to kill him at his weak spot. He claims her again that night and she finally quits her obsessive job. They have 4 polar bear kids and they're just as crazy as they were before. Anyways it was good.

Solid 4.5/5

I've been waiting for Blake's story while reading the other firemen's stories. He's in his fifties, still a virgin waiting for his mate and she just strolled into town investigating the dragon shifters. Being an FBI agent, she has a strong-willed personality and take no shit attitude, but falls extra hard for Blake. He's a polar bear shifter and overly protective and we get to see this side especially in the conflict when he has to protect and defend Lily. This one felt the strongest out of the series for me and it could be because I adored Blake and him worried that he wouldn't find his mate. So, if you're looking for PNR smut that has that super growly possessive hero this is it! I really enjoyed this one since I love a good fated mates withe the OTT hero.

Lily has been tracking the Kirk brothers for years, following leads to them that have taken her thru 28 states. Now entering Montana, her 29th state, with a good solid lead from video surveillance showing Sperling Kirk flying out of the roof of a fire station.
Blake has long given up finding his mate - being 54 and seeing all of his crew find theirs, doesn’t help matters. But when the FBI agent walks thru his door demanding answers about Sperling, he knows that his mate has finally come and 5 long decades, he is going to do everything to keep her safe....and his polar bear will finally be able to leave his mark.
When Sperling comes back for vengeance over his brothers’ death, he thinks he’s going to get a 2 for 1 special. Little does he know what he is truly up against.

Olivia nailed it with this shifter novella! Lily has all the spunk and bravery that I love reading about when it comes to heroines. Blake is the sweet, protective and drool worthy alpha polar bear. This story has action, laughable moments, and all the steam that Olivia always writes perfectly. I am sad to see this series come to an end, but I know I will go back and read again.

Blake & Lily

This is the 5th book in the Alphas in Heat Series.

Blake, 52, is a polar bear shifter and the fire chief. He and his bear have been waiting an eternity for his mate, that he feels may never come.

Then one day all that changes, when FBI agent, Lily, 33 shows up at the station. She has been following the dragon shifter brothers for 10 years and was told that they were last scene in a fight in at the fire station.

As soon as the two meet, there is no question that they are mates. The attraction is instant and undeniable. With Sperling still on the loose, will Blake be able to protect Lily and defeat Sperling before it's too late?

I absolutely loved this series!! I loved seeing the whole crew & their mates together!! I hope that this series continues with the wolf shifters, like Lincoln. I am not ready to say goodbye to this small town in Montana just yet!!

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
Pulled to the alpha is book five in the alpha’s in heat series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Blake is a polar bear shifter and a fireman. He is eager to find his mate so when he does, he is ecstatic and possessive. Lily is an FBI agent. She is focused on her career and very driven. For ten years she has been trying to take down the Kirk brothers. Even in human form, she recognises that the dragon shifter is dangerous.
The chemistry between Blake and Lily is clear to see and I liked them as a couple. I thought that they made a cute pair. I liked that the dragon was finally defeated.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

BLAKE and LILY

Blake is the chief at the fire station. He is also the oldest and believes that his mate does not exist. He pines for her, but at his age he truly believes that he will die alone.
His family are the people at the fire station, and with the last dragon still after them, he will do what is needed to safeguard them.

Lily is an FBI agent who is on the look out for said dragon and his brothers, and comes to the fire station to investigate. She is independent, with a life of her own. No polar bear can come and dictate terms to her.

But it is an insta lust, insta love story. Not to mention the steamy mating bond that makes it impossible not to combust.

Blake instantly knows that she is his mate and now has more to lose than ever, especially since her job is dangerous. Blake is a great hero and a ferocious protector that will destroy the enemy, to make sure his mate and family are safe and then lay claim to his mate.

Fantastic end of the series

Brilliant last book of the series at last Blake finds his mate Lily who has come to Montana to find the Kirk brothers who are dragons and the FBI are after. Lily is from the FBI agency to track down the brothers what she doesn’t expect to see is Blake. Lily knows all about shifters so when Blake tells her she is his mate
she knows what he is staying and because of that he doesn’t like her looking for sperling Kirk after Lily’s first encounter with Sperling Kirk he finds them and a fight between him and Blake happens Blake gets the upper hand when he breaks Sperlings jaw as he tries to fly away Blake stops him and when he shifts back Lily hands Blake the gun. Lily isn’t leaving Blake she takes holiday leave but ends up leaving them when he family starts to grow. The FBI accepted the story she gave for the deaths of all the Kirk brothers.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the fifth book in the Alphas in Heat series. In this book, Blake is the fire chief and a polar bear shifter. Blake is the oldest man at the station and the only one who hasn't found his mate, and he is beginning to think he doesn't have one. Lily is an FBI agent who has been hunting the Kirk brothers for years, they are the dragon shifters the firemen had encountered in previous books. When Lily tracks the Kirks to Montana, she meets Blake and Blake knows instantly she is his fated mate. Blake wants Lily and he tries not to scare her away. Lily insists she can take care of herself, but Blake doesn't want her hunting the remaining Kirk brother. I loved this series. I love Blake and was so happy to see he finally found his mate. I love how protective Blake was of Lily and how they fought together. A great ending to a great series.

Blake finally gets his HEA

Blake is the only member of his fire crew unmated, and also the oldest. He's watched all of his friends find their mates and although he's happy for them, he wonders if he will ever get his HEA. Lily is an FBI agent who has been traveling for years chasing after the Kirk brothers ( those horrible dragon shifters). When Lily stops by the fire station to ask questions about the Kirk brothers, Blake immediately recognizes his mate. What will happen when the last dragon shifter is not only after Blake but also his mate? Well, as we all know, NOTHING stands between a shifter and his mate. Loved it!!! So glad that Blake finally got his HEA. But I'm sad to see this series end.

Finally Blake meets his match and his mate in one! Sassy FBI agent LIly is a no no nonsense women hunting down those pesty murdering dragons ans will stop at nothing to catch them... until she meets Blake, He knows immediately that Lily is his mate and he won’t stand to have her in harms way, even if it means taking down the last remaining dragon on his own...but Lily is strong and independent... what sparks will fly before she admits that he is her one too? A perfect way to round out the series!

Turner does really well the first 2 maybe 3 books of a series. Then she tries to add ✨variety✨ to the next books, and therefore adding things that don’t work which make the book really boring and annoying.

Gosh this book was bad. Like… really really REALLY bad. In an okay way.

I like her writing style but I kid you not I can’t think of a single part of this book I genuinely enjoyed reading and wanted more of.

I only read this because it was the last book in the series and Turner’s finishing book in the Blackcloud point universe (that I know of). So I wanted to know what the ending was for these people.

But this was just not my vibe. I’ll keep reading her books, but only because the first few of a series are always good and a guaranteed good time.

I do not recommend this novella.

I’ve waited so impatiently for Blake’s book and I devoured it in less than an hour. This book was as brilliant as I thought it would be.

Blake Frost Fire Chief and polar bear shifter has waited decades to find his mate and doesn’t think his time has passed and has come to terms with a life alone.

Lily Burks FBI Agent too busy for romance and focused on her career until she meets Blake.

Will they get the happily ever after they so deserve with danger lurking.

Worth the wait.

It’s finally Blake Frost’s turn. He’s the 54 yo, polar bear shifter, fire chief. It’s been a long wait for him.

Lily is 33 yo FBI agent from Miami dragon hunting.
Think Out of Sight with JLo and Clooney.
She’s tracked the last dragon brother to Montana.

Dragon drama and plenty of steam between Blake and Lily.
Verdict? Best of the series.
Loved that Blake and Lily were older.
Loved that Lily was FBI and had a career.

Blake is trying his hardest to not be jealous of all his friends cause they found their mates.. Blake is the oldest out of the bunch and he is still alone. Not expecting to ever meet his mate she struts into his office needing to ask questions.. Lily works for the FBI , the moment she see's Blake she feels a connection to him not knowing they are mates.
I absolutely loved this book and these two.. sad this series is over but every book was amazing .. this whole series is a MUST READ
