Amazing. In the vein of Leonard Cohen, definitely a book for bilingual readers as there is a lot of double meaning to words (poets come from Montreal and definitely know English even though they only write in French) (for example: negligée in a poem with clothes as a metaphor to go for the word neglected while staying in theme by bringing up the imagery of the article of clothing. Unique. Sad that they are not better known in English because they are fantastic writers. Glad that they were recommended to me by a local. Still can’t get over how good this was and the amazing use of the French language that they made.
