When a Monarch is Marked, they go from master to prisoner. Their fate? Determined by the one who Marked them.

Alisha Butterfly is my name, and on Friday the 13th, I was found guilty of the massacre of a bunch of criminals — people I have no memory of killing. Amnesia wasn't a good enough excuse to get me into the mental ward and so I was tossed into the depths of the Psychic Prison for Supernaturals.

Now I’m a Marked puppet with bad luck on my side and a master waiting for me at my cell. But questions — and problems — arise when that one master turns out to be four and I learn I’m more than just a trapped butterfly.

To them, a Marked Monarch is a slave to their every command. But I’m more than that. I'm powerful and I will rise from the depths of this prison and exact my revenge on whomever sentenced me here.

I'll cocoon myself within these grim walls and do what my masters tell me. Let them abuse, strengthen, and train me for what's to come, for time will be my ally until I transform and regain what is rightfully mine.

I will reclaim my supernatural monarchy.

Psychic Prison is a Paranormal Prison Romance.

Not for me. When you have to resort to every other word being a swear word for what? Entertainment? To prove it's adult? Because? I don't know but, it really makes the story distracting and honestly, not worth it to get through, which is a shame because it had an interesting storyline for the most part even if I wasn't connecting at all to the story or protagonist but maybe I could have liked it? Hard to say.

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

I was looking forward to this start to a new series. The premise of a prison intrigued me and this one is so different from everything we are used to that it will blow your mind. The world building is fantastic as fall into this new story. Alisha has lost all of her memories and is accused of the mass murder of some criminals that has landed her in this well known prison. Her welcome is a whole different experience then she expected with twists at every turn. Add in some unknown to her allies and bad guys that they don't know about to really ramp the story into gear. Now that the foundation has been laid I cannot wait to see where book two takes us. Great start. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

I was really excited about this book ever since i read supernatural inmate. Alisha was a mystery to me and now after reading and getting to know her and her masters in this book i love her. With Cassandra, Alisha, Ivy and Celeste each getting their own series im really looking forward for each installment to this world. Its like multiple povs only in seperate books and other things going on. I love it when i get to read more of the story types i like.

We first see Alisha Butterfly in Supernatural Inmate, so I recommend you read that first. This is a great start to learning more about her story, her harem, and her amnesia.

The heroine in this one was beyond immature. She was supposed to be 20 but felt like she was 12. Also I think this book should have disclosed that this was a reverse harem sort of read. At my time of purchase this was not listed in the blurb. I avoid reverse harems books for the most part.

Slight spoilers ahead:

I went in thinking that the heroes in this read were her brothers. Not biologically but they referred to them as her bros over and over. And yet she mates with them all towards the end. That grossed me out.

Also, during one of the multiple sex scenes she calls her lover "daddy" Gross At least it wasn't "brother" tho.

I wont be reading anymore of this series and will likely avoid this writers other work.

An Infuriating Case Of Power Corrupting & The Woman Fighting Back!!😡💥🙏💖
Her Mate Finding & Coming In As Back Up!!💘👍
(Read using Kindle Unlimited)
Psychic Prison (Supernatural Marked Monarchy #1)

Alisha is imprisoned for a genocide she's sure she didn't commit, however she's got total amnesia!😔💔 The trial was a joke & she's sentenced to life in in Prison for Supernaturals. She keeps being attacked but luckily she's powerful & is able to save herself each time, even when a group of guards, with intentions to rape her, congregate in her cell. A man called Phoenix arrives, he's one of four men that have bought her.😡

She actually feels connected to him, like she knows him deeply. But as her memories are gone she keeps her guard up. His assistant, Lyla, seems familiar too! They're very kind & place no expectations on her but do fill in what they think happened to her. Lyla is also able to determine her memories are blocked not removed completely!🙏 Phoenix & the other three guys joined forces to win the bid on her because they fear whoever got her sent to the prison was the one bidding the highest!!😳 So to protect her they pooled their resources, but will it be enough to protect her in the prison long term??😱

This was a decent read. It had a well rounded group of characters also with a vile villain in the background! I thought the constant s*x & talk about it, part way through onwards, was a bit unnecessary, but I just tried to ignore it!🙈 I'm looking forward to all the powerhouse women meeting up eventually. Alisha has met the most of them so far - Celeste, Ivy & Cassandra!😍🎉🌟

If you've read the first supernatural prison book by Avery Song then you've had a quick introduction to Alisha Butterfly, but this book gives us her story and a bit of how she came to be in the Supernatural Prison. Amnesia is a pain, but when it's more than that...well...get ready for a fire to be awoken and for some trouble to unfold.
Alisha Butterfly, marked monarch, sentenced to life in prison for the murder of a thousand inmates. She has amnesia and she has a second side that talks to her named Saphire. Alisha is not expected prison to be an easy ride, but what begins to happen is not what she expects either. I love how her other side takes over from time to time and handles up on business. It's so cool!! Why they have amnesia it doesn't stop her from having flashbacks that help prompt memories of who she was and who her "master" (one of four) is. I love that Alisha isn't a pushover character, and she has some really good qualities.
My only downside for this book, is that I wanted more set-up from the beginning. I know that everything doesn't go exactly the way that Alisha would like, but I kinda wanted things to be a bit harder for her instead of things essentially starting to go her way so quickly in the story. The author repeatedly says that Alisha "suffered so much for two weeks" but we really don't see that. It was glossed over and seemed skipped over so that we didn't get to experience that with her. I also wanted more information about each of the men. There are some scenes that left me a bit confused because they seemed to happen in the present time and not necessarily be a "flashback" so I was a bit confused and had to reread it a couple of times.
All in all, this book has some pretty amazing twists, and this book kept me page-turning to learn what was going to happen next. I almost howled with the cliffhanger ending, but whom am I kidding? Those are the best kinds of endings! LOL! I can't wait for the next book in this series. If you are a fan of this author then I highly recommend that you pick this book up and dive in. I am rating this book 4.5 out of 5 stars. While the issues I pointed out bothered me, they aren't enough to majorly detract from my overall enjoyment of the book.

Well then

After reading The first part of Cassandra’s story (the human thrown into the prison) I was eager to read about the mysterious monarch she encounters there, Alisha Butterfly. This is this first part of her story, though it’s really part three of her every growing saga, we just jump into backwards are are gifted with a few flashbacks to fill in the blanks. And considering this Uber powered chic has amnesia, there are A LOT of blanks - and it’s a bit of a struggle to catch up.

So, I liked it.... but I’m not sure if I like HER. Instinctive superiority is a bit annoying, truth be told. She may have a right to be arrogant, but it made her harder to relate to for over such as myself, though I suppose that is part of her story. Overall, it’s a mishmash that is part of a much larger picture, one that will require quite a few books, featuring many different characters, to really tell.

Pros:
- Interesting.
- Return of Cassandra.
- I actually like Kai.
- The bigger picture is almost, kinda, not really, becoming clear.

Cons:
- Her attitude is off putting.
- The prison is hard to picture... seriously hard.
- Events flow awkwardly.
- I’m so confused on the mate issue, is Lyla or is she not?

Mind officially blown! Still picking my jaw off the floor. We got a peek at Alicia Butterfly in another book by our beloved author (SUPERNATURAL INMATE) that left me wanting to know more about her. Ask and ye shall receive as we were then given this gem. We meet Alicia very confused since she has no memory of her life. She just knows she's just been convicted of mass murder and is en route to some supernatural prison. One thing that does niggle within us she's unsure if she's actually done what they claim. However she does feel power within....and a very sarcastic, annoying voice in her mind chiming in from time to time. Something strange is definitely going on here! Alicia definitely has psychic ability as she can hear what her driver is thinking, but now she's determined to learn what happened to get her here and why. Some of those answers, and strange new allies await at the prison. Not to mention a hidden and powerful enemy. All kinds of things will be revealed at her new destination, but Alicia won't shy away from learning more about herself. Let's just hope she can survive to become all ages intended to become!!! Just beware....very easy to get addicted 😉❤

Psychic Prison

Alisha Butterfly’s happy and productive life all came crashing down on Friday 13th. After that date she lost her memories, was placed in prison and now has 4 masters who all seem to have some control of her life and her needs.

But if they think that Alisha is going to be content to sit back and let the men take care of everything they soon realize that Alisha is strong enough to take care of herself.

If you are looking for a strong female character who is funny, loving, strong and doesn’t wait for others to save her then this is a must read for you!

The authors have outdone themselves with this new series with a glimpse of others characters from this new world that will have you laughing out loud and racing through pages to find out what is next.

Download this book now! You will be so happy that you did.

Once again Avery Song is able to provide an interesting story that also intertwines with the complete series. This is the first book in her monarch series and the second series in her prison set.

I really enjoyed this novel as it was able to give us a different view. The fact that Alisha is suffering from amnesia and can't remember her past brings in a whole new aspect in developing a character. Other characters such as Her men and Layla just bring different aspects. The only thing that I would maybe ask is to get more background on the new men in her life.

The ending of this book has me begging for the next one. I definitely recommend this book for just the series or the intertwining series. I definitely feel like this is heading in a great direction and can't wait to see what happens.

Women of Change

I first read Cassandra's beginning. I think it was good to start there since she is the one that makes things start to really happen. This is Alisha's beginning. She is the center who sets things up so they can happen. There are three other women who are also going to cause change. Ivy is in both of their stories but there are still two nameless women out there, and only one vision of Alisha's to hint at who they are. Its rather exciting really.

I do find it strange that Alisha is already married and now has three possible men in her life, a female man, and a possible second mate in a couple of weeks. Its a lot to wrap my head around. This is a great world though and navigating all of these stories that work together will be interesting.

Holy moly, what a story! Psychic Prison was a pure pleasure to read. We get to finally meet Alisha Butterfly and I loved everything about her. She's a bit more mature than Avery's other characters and she radiates power and regality with every thought, action, and word. Her story is exciting. Her mystery is intriguing, and, if you've read the ready of Avery's library, the tie ins are so much fun to catch! There's a whole lot of steam with the sexy Atticus, but the others are a work in progress and our girl is working it!! It ends on a massive cliffhanger, so be ready to rage, but it's an excellent story and a fantastic addition!

This is the first book about Alisha but it isn’t the first she appears on. In the first book of Avery Song Supernatural prison series, We get introduced to the four heroines that are going to change the system and get to see the story development through different eyes. This kind of elevate the experience because we get four personalities and POVs, sometimes about the same scene.
Alisha past is a mystery because she has amnesia so we get to discover her past with her and the voice in her head and with some flashbacks. Waiting for the next installment for more information about the story and about the masters.

Wow what a story! I cannot wait to read the next book and find out more. The MC is so intriguing with her different sides and amnesia. I can't wait until she has more flashbacks and finally breaks her amnesia for good! I can't wait to find out why Layla is hiding as a woman and why her and Alisha broke up. I can't wait to see what becomes of Alisha and her three new men that are her soonsers and benefactors besides Pheonix. Not to mention the doc and O. Definitely lots to find out! Such a good book with lots of info and different sides.

Awesome read. Nice paranormal reverse harem

This book was a wonderful read. I thoroughly enjoyed Alisha Butterfly’s origin story. Even without her meme pry, she is a wonderfully kickbutt heroine with strong alpha males surrounding her. This story flowed well from beginning to end with good transitions, supporting characters, and hints to developing stories for other characters. I am looking forward to the next chapter of Alisha’s story and the other princesses that are set to change their world.

An interesting start to what I hope will be an amazing series. MC is intriguing and pulls you in a little bit.

The inner strength the MC is to be commended and aspired to.

At times felt a little unsure where the story was going to go but am glad I stuck with it and allowed myself to fall into the story.

Looking forward to finding out what happens next and seeing who pays for the crimes they have committed

Psychic Prison Review

Even though Alisha has amnesia and does not remember pretty much anything about herself, she does not let that stop her from discovering herself again and regaining the memories she has lost. She is such a strong character and is probably going to end up as one of my favorites. I can not wait for book two to see what happens next after how this book ended!

I totally love this book. Getting to see into Alisha's side of prison life and what she goes through. While she gains some memories over the course of the book, that take you through so many twists and turns. To create an amazing story filled with love from her husband and the building of trust and want in her three other masters.
To end the book in a shocking way which literally leaves you on a cliff edge. Wicked read

One word - Editor

Don't get me wrong I loved the book and I am enjoying the entire series. But really, please get an editor or if you have one get a new one. Obvious mistakes abound with incorrect words and other errors that could have easily be corrected making this a solid 5 star rating. When I have to read a sentence 3 times to decipher the meaning it is going to drop the rating.

The book jumps all over the place and is hard to follow. You can tell that the authors have specific scenes in mind, but it reads like someone is describing a fight scene they saw on TV. The blurb talks about being at her Masters command, but they are so stand-offish that it is ridiculous. She has the worst attitude towards other people... there are her “masters”, her servants, and those that are less than dirt beneath her shoe. Honestly, can’t believe I finished it!

Don’t bother.

DNF. I will never read another book by this author. A lot of her series are unfinished. There are promises of the next book being released soon, then it’s not. Books are nowhere to be found. Not just this one, but other series as well. How many books are we supposed to read, to find out there is no second book? She keeps starting books then just leaving them. Focus on one series at a time lady.
Don’t waste your time.

This book was amazing. You could really feel the emotions of the MC it was almost as if the author was writing from experience.
I loved meeting the new characters and seeing pop ins from another book and how they interacted. Seeing the MC grow and overcome her fears and to start finding herself again as time went on, made it a really good read.

I am completely and utterly in love with this story and the characters, especially Alisha. Everything about this book just drew me in from the very beginning and not let up. I truly can not wait for the next book to find out what's happening and to learn more about her and her powers and so much more

This book was absolutely amazing. Alisha Butterfly is a kickass main character who, even with amnesia, is not going to let anyone stand in her way of finding out who she is and how to escape. I cannot wait to see how the vision she had with all the royal girls plays out. Once again Avery Song leaves us with a cliff hanger eager to find out what happens next. Book 2 can't come out soon enough!

This book opens the door

For what ever reason I read Cassandra Thorn's book first, human extrodinaire, who meets Alisha and Ivy. I expect that I will be reading Ivy's story next. But in regards to Psychic Prison, I feel Alisha's story really opens the door to the world the Supe's live in. It still only scratches the surface but thankfully there is a book 2 & 3 pending release.

Started off slow but once you catch onto Alisha and her Masters and Mates it pulls you in like all of Avery Song's Books. Now onto the next to see where this amazing mystery leads me......
BUT WHERE ARE THE NEXT 2 BOOKS??? wtf is Happening here and why is there a 3 book series with only 1 book???

I enjoyed Alisha Butterfly’s character in Supernatural Inmate, but to read things from her perspective, I fell Lin love with her. She’s strong, conflicted, kind and very powerful. This is a fast paced, information overload, with so many emotion driven moments. Definitely worth reading!
