THE LAST WORD Ruled by an insane triad, Zahra lost her ability to talk as punishment for speaking her mind. When her entire pack was wiped out during a vicious attack by brutal hunters, she barely existed as wolf for fifty years, leading a solitary life guarding her parents' graves. When the Porda Clan arrived to claim the land, the handsome but stubborn general of the Clan's army stayed with her, eventually coaxing her to return to his homeland. A wolf among bears, and unable to communicate with any of them, she was more isolated than she'd ever been. But her general didn't give up and proved he was her true fated mate, especially when an unimaginable evil threatened everything and everyone they loved.

This book was absolutely riveting. The author took everything and everyone we knew from the previous books and added more layers to the story and intensity of the storyline. I love how each book builds on the last and how the relationships between the characters grow. There is an underlying sweetness in each of the goddesses and the people they save. I can’t wait to read the next book and see what happens next.
I love the direction that this series is taking into fantasy as well as paranormal, with a few dystopian elements to round everything out. The more I read of this series the deeper I get into the overarching theme. Don't get me wrong, each book is a complete story on its own but they wind together into deeper plots. Recommend to anyone.
***spoiler alert *** Zahra with her voice power commanded the alphas to release Rose so she could be rescued but forgot and released them to early and female alpha. So she was tortured and her voice box was destroyed so she couldn’t physically talk. She lived as a wolf for 50 years before she was found by Rose and her alphas. John the general knew that they were mates, finally she was able to change into her female side. Ra chose her to be one of the five eyes of Ra, Zahra saved Raz’s baby. She helped everyone in fighting the demons that took over bodies. Great book!
Speechless is the third book in Lilli Carlisle’s Fated Mates and it grabs the reader by the throat and doesn’t let go till the last page is turned. A riveting story with a slow build, that quickly transforms to a fast-paced and exhilarating read. Great characters, an easy to follow storyline and many twists and turns, will keep readers on the edge of their seats till the very end. I’m looking forward to what comes next!

This is the story of Zahra and John. She has suffered greatly for protecting those she loved. When John finds her, he knows that she is his mate. This one captured my attention from the start. I enjoyed the strong characters and the fast paced action in this story. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Riveting Excitement “Speechless” is Zahra and John’s story and follows the storyline from “Huntress”. The excitement, action, and drama hold you, hostage, through this slow-building tale that picks up speed and takes you on a journey that you do not want to end. I loved this tale. I hadn't read any of the previous books before this, but after reading this I so want to now. This is and awesome but slow burn read. The beginning I wished was expand a bit more but it was probably in the previous book.
Zahra has lived for years not being able to talk because of her crazy triad. She’s a lonely wolf after her whole village is destroyed. Years later she meets what seems to be her fated mate. Can she believe this and that she might be able to talk again or will evil have other plans?
I had been wondering how long the wait would be for this book, and I am glad to finally read this. Good fun reading and I can't wait for the next installment!
