All God’s Creatures 2027 is an animal lover’s dream devotional which contains wisdom and practical daily reminders for an entire year. As evinced in the introduction, animals can connect us in unusual and beautiful ways. I spend as much time as I possibly can in nature and my daily woodland walks and forays reveal the wonders of God everywhere. Foxes, birds, badgers, deer, rabbits, jackals, snakes, fearsome and beautiful insects, toads, pine martens, edible dormice, and others often appear. I am blessed to also live near the sea so often see a completely different world beneath the surface. Animals which fly, creep, growl, jump, swim, nibble, chirp, purr, inch along, and gallop are featured in this book with devotionals written by a wide array of contributors (their bios are included in the back).

The format is simple; Scripture, a short devotional, and Walk of Faith (practical applications). Those seeking a bit of a light and gentle book, this may be your wheelhouse. You needn’t live in nature or have pets to enjoy this book. It would be as apt for armchair animal folks, too. Reminders of God’s beautiful and glorious fingerprints are all over it.

This may be just a personal preference but it would be helpful to have each day labeled with the date.
